    Pick up parking area

Extremely disappointed in the poor service at this location. Ordered groceries for pickup, sat outside for over an hour before being helped. There is no reason service should take this long when 4-5 employees are working and there are only 9 parking spots. Walmart you need to do better. This will be the last opportunity for me to order from the location, the entire convenience factor was lost as well as the customer experience. To top it off, no apology offered for the time it took or offering a discount on the next order. So ridiculous

If we could give 0 stars, I would definitely be doing so. Prime Saturday shopping hours and we walked out of the store with less than half of what we came to buy. Rarely come to this location but had errands near and a cold reminder as to why we won't make this mistake again. Just keep driving.

These poor plants couldn't even get a drink of water.

Consistently have exceedingly long check out lines since self check out was closed. Very poor shopping experience.

Guerin's Pharmacy is a historic pharmacy that opened in Summerville, South Carolina in 1871. It is…read morethe oldest pharmacy in South Carolina as well as the oldest continuously-operating business in Summerville. It was founded by Dr. Henry Charles Guerin. The roots of the pharmacy go back decades earlier. Dr. C.F. Schwettmann owned a drugstore in Charleston, but it was damaged by cannon fire during the Civil War. He set up a new drugstore in Summerville in 1864. In 1871, Guerin (a former Confederate soldier and graduate of the Medical College of South Carolina) purchased the pharmacy and Schwettmann returned to Charleston. After Guerin passed away, the pharmacy was taken over by his son Dr. Joseph C. Guerin. The younger Guerin's colleague Dr. Herbert F. Dunning later purchased the pharmacy. Since 2014, the owner of Guerin's Pharmacy has been Dunning's grand niece Barbara A. Dunning, RPh. My family and I visited Guerin's Pharmacy this past summer while we were visiting family in town. Our cousins told us to check out a really cool old pharmacy in Hutchinson Square. We had no idea that pharmacies like this still existed; we had only seen ones like this in the movies. In addition to a pharmacy, Guerin's also essentially doubles as a general store where customers can purchase souvenirs, postcards, books, t-shirts, etc. Guerin's is also home to a soda fountain, which were popular in drugstores during the first half of the 20th century but rarely seen today. Customers can get Blue Bell brand ice cream, milkshakes, malts, floats, fountain sodas, hotdogs (with or without chili), pickles, or a number of different treats from the candy counter. My wife and I shared a cup of "Mint Chocolate Chip" ice cream while our sons shared a cup of "Cookies 'n Cream". My wife also enjoyed a strawberry milkshake while I had a bottle of Cheerwine. It was so cool to step back in time at Guerin's Pharmacy! We'll definitely visit again on a future trip to Summerville.

They sell a variety of phone accessories and a variety of seasonal items like scented hand sanitizer and hand creams. Nothing! Long story short a second employee comes and doublecheck the box and all the surrounding boxes, still nothing and this time they both go to the back. One guy waiting behind me and about 12 or 13 minutes later one comes back and looks again in the circled area with a little more systematically and orderly approach, Nothing! I look up and in box number 71 at the top and at a distance I seem to recognize my last name on the first label sticking out and when one of them comes back I tell her to see if that is my prescription and LO AND BEHOLD it is my prescription! She comes to me with a surprise expression and when the other comes back she tells her "he found it"! Two stars because two people tried hard but ratgreens system sucks Three months from now I will take it to the competition for refills. It seems like they don't have enough personnel, there is merchandise at the end of every aisle to be put away and almost no customers Bye bye ratgreens store in disarray

That said I'm not sure how many people actually shop at CVS. Because what I've noticed is CVS nationwide have on average a 8% increase in pricing over everywhere else. I believe the reason is because of not buying in bulk. I don't think I'm leaking any secrets here as that's just what I've observed. As for this facility it really does need some TCL as the last time I went there at around 2pm the carpets had trash all over the place. Most of the shelves were stocked but the products in the fridge and freezer where sparse as if no one restocked them in ages. One thing I have noticed is CVS gets in interesting holiday supplies like Danish cookies for Xmas. I never seen these cookies anywhere else so that is worth remembering. As for the pharmacy they're an enigma. I've pulled up in the drive through at 9am when the open yet they didn't open the big metal divider inside until 9:15. Also the orders are slower being filled than I've experienced in other states. Generally, if I call an order can be filled within 2-3 hours however this facility it's more along the lines of 5-6. That said, the staff are nice and willing to help out where they can. CVS is a place where many of us get our medications filled and as far as that aspect, they're about average speed, maybe a smidge under but with a nice staff. Inside the store portion of the freestanding unit, prices aren't competitive and I would pass on anything that needs refrigeration. They need a good and consistent cleaning as it's a bit dirty. As for me since the pharmacy is right around the corner, I find them capable of fulfilling my order so I'll be back.
