We normally love this store. The prices are reasonable and you can generally get help if you can't find something. Like all Walmart pharmacies, the one at this Walmart is nothing short of amazing. The lady working in cosmetics was helpful and curtious. As we made our way to electronics we were amazed how every associate in the store went out of their way to help us or just make conversation. Once we got to electronics, two male associates were getting products ready for the shelves. It was painfully obvious that we interrupted their conversation when we asked to see a camera. It didn't get any better from there. Instead of helping us the associate we asked for help started helping another customer. Since the camera we were interested in was quite expensive we had a few questions. Every single question we asked he rolled his eyes and was very short with us while guessing the answer to the question. If I had been the one interested in making a purchase, I would have waited another day and gone elsewhere but my daughter was making the purchase and apparently has more patience than I do. Once we were at the register paying for the camera, he continued with his disgusting attitude. This is the last time we visit the electronics section at this store. My husband and I rarely go to this walmart even though it is just around the corner from where we live. This walmart is usually dirty and the very first time we went here after moving from the east coast, there was a attempted child abduction, although the staff was very prepared for that situation. Like another reviewer, I have noticed that they're not as stocked as the super walmart 5 miles away. So we chose to go to go to the other walmart instead because it's a lot cleaner and they have more options for our home. read more

Got there 6 minutes before closing time on 10/21/2019 just needed to grab water and guy at the door just ignore me the whole time. I repeatedly told him I just need one thing and the store was still open and he just decided to turn his back on me. Company policy by the way says doors closes at 12 am exactly!!! Also the police officer inside was also being a moron by just standing there and also turn his back! Why kind of police officer are you? Ok, anyone who has read my reviews knows I'm not one to give out one star... And I usually will give a place a second chance if it is terribly awful, that being said... The experience that I am CURRENTLY having is awful!! Here I am, just your regular, run-of-the-mill guy, running around town looking for a hard plastic kiddy pool for the pig that I'm pig sitting to play in in tomorrow's forecasted HOT weather. (yeah, I'm pig sitting, big deal). So after multiple stores, I find out this wal mart has them! Sweet! Right? WRONG! Right now I am sitting in front of the locked home and garden section, staring through the doors at these pools. Have an associate help right? No dice. Only the night manager, Dave, has a key. So, where is Dave? In the middle of 'coaching' an employee... Whatever that means! And I am very patient, VERY patient. How long have I been sitting here waiting for Dave, the master coach, to come over and unlock this door for 25 seconds so I can run in and grab a kiddy pool you ask?? AN HOUR! The employees even asked him to come out real quick and just unlock it, or to let them have the keys, his response: 'if he really needs it, he'll wait'... You have got to be KIDDING me!! I'm not saying I'm a rocket surgeon or anything, but as a business owner myself... That is NOT how you treat the people who keep food on the table, clothes on your back, and the lights on in your house. If he was the manager at my store, he'd get fired for this. First off, the title of this Walmart is wrong here. It's not a supercenter, just ask Google maps. Out of all Walmarts I've been to, this one is the smallest. It's a tight fit for all that they have. The grocery section has minimal items and no produce. I don't think certain employees take pride in their work. I needed a bag of chips once and couldn't find a single bag without broken chips. Like the people who stock the shelves purposely crushed every bag or something. What ever happened to lower prices too? I compared a few items to those at Target and couldn't believe that Target had them listed for much less, which was never the case. It's also a little scary seeing the type of people that go to this particular store. Maybe it's best to go very early to avoid the strange, hehe. read more

Typically I drive to the wal-mart on Cortaro to avoid this one, however I was sick and wanted to get some medicine and Gatorade so I went to this one since it's close to my house. It's super dirty and the people that shop are let's say not Tucson's finest. When I walked in I saw some guy talking to himself in the mirror near the Redbox. Didn't know if I should laugh or be cautious. This has to be the worst wal-mart in Tucson and that's saying something. read more

This store sucks. I shopped there on Monday and as I was about to leave my young son let me know he needed to nurse. I headed to the fitting room to nurse him. The woman watching over the fitting room said I couldn't go in with unpaid merchandise so I showed her my receipt and that should've made it okay, right? Well, that's not what happened. She happened to see my son's puffs in the bottom of the stroller and asked about that. I said that I bought them at a different store. In a very condescending tone she said "got a receipt" and I said no I didn't and that they don't even sell that brand at this Walmart. She wouldn't let me in. Meanwhile my baby is screaming because he really wanted to nurse. He won't nurse in public so I couldn't just nurse him out there. I had to go to customer service to finally be let into the fitting room. I nursed and got out of there. Needless to say, I'm never shopping at Walmart again. read more

This store is dirty and the people there aren't much better. I always feel nervous leaving my car in the parking lot and I'm glad I haven't had to stop in to this location for some time. Skip this place and go straight to Super Wal-Mart if you have to or Super Target if you prefer a cleaner shopping experience. I went to this location to simply get my watched fixed and the woman at the watch repair stand was EXTREMELY rude to us. We mentioned that it was ridiculous that they refused us service and she continued to talk about us to her coworker WHILE we were standing right next to her. When we left she continued to talk about us using very mean words while our friends were standing next to her. Overall I am VERY disappointed with their customer service and how they conduct themselves around customers. read more

The store on Wetmore and 1st in Tucson remains very hot, temperature wise. If you shop there, be prepared to sweat. This has been a problem for some years now and though complaints have been made, the company shows little if any effort to correct the problem. It gets up around 110 degress here in Tucson, and proper cooling is a must during these times, yet the store doesn't seem to see it that way. I would recommend staying away from this particular Wal Mart. read more

It is obviouss that the corporation is to blame I am sure , as they know this is a pitiful situation. Great location, terrible set up , and poorly stocked. I went in to get a 12 v battery for my fans, remote. One hour later, because of standing in a poorly staffed customer service line, then waiting for the no show mgr who was called, and then being sent to electronics to find the inventory rock bottom.Also no cashier at all at the desk there. I say relocate , to a larger store. Give the stores the stock they need, and hire good mgrs.Hire enough employees. I am not a Walmart regular customer altho do love my Walmart neighborhood market and Sams club. I will never go to this store again. Wow, A lot of the time this place looks as though someone took a baseball bat and just dragged it across the shelves knocking EVERYTHING on the floor! I always see employees walking around doing nothing...here's an idea ...how about picking stuff up off the floor and organizing ?...Organization would be really nice in this Walmart. Ordered a tv last night, which the website said was in stock in the store, when I placed the order the website said it would be ready for pickup this morning at 7 a.m. I have been waiting all day to receive the email stating it is actually ready for pickup. I just called to see what is going on, the woman said it will be ready in two hours. Five minutes later, I get a text from them stating the order is delayed for THREE days! Cancelled the order and will go to Target. I should have known better than to trust Walmart. read more

Just avoid this Walmart. They are always out of stock and I feel the store itself is way to small to be considered a proper walmart. Everytime I go there I can never find a few things that I can find at any other walmart. Things like a broom or even Comet cleaner. Two very common items and this store can not even keep in stock, or if they even ever stock those items. Was at the Walmart on Tangerine and saw a TV we wanted. It was not in stock there but was available at Wetmore store. Drove there to find out the price was $50 more at the Wetmore location and, ironically, they would not 'price match' due to their 'policy'. i wish there was no star for a rating... i give the wal mart customer service on wetmore a rating of a fat "0" i called to ask about a stuffed animal... and got put on hold for over 10 minutes.... so i hung up... and i called back... thats when i heard the dial tone pick up...and didn't hear anyone greeting the call, as in a hello? or this is your neighborhood walmart on wetmore...nothing!!!! so, i had to say hello for over a minute and say im going to rate you guys a zero....before anyone responded. and then a different lady answers the phone this time... and it seems to be a prank... because she had this chinese accent...and acted like she couldn't understand what i was saying....and then she passed me off to the security guad.... and somehow the security guard who doesn't even work there transferes me to the toy department. and thats when nancy answered... and she couldn't pull through with what i needed. and im not upset they didnt have what i wanted... it's the fact that this customer service was so horrible and lost that it brings me here for someone else to read this review. this overall worst customer service ever..!!!! overall = 0 stars read more

The only reason I set foot in the Walmar (455 E Wetmore, Tucson) store is that my insurance offers me extremely limited choice of pharmacies. The pharmacy at this Walmart is managed by a harridan named Trish Husted. Every month when I have to go to pick up my medicines, she is snotty and insulting to me. She has put onscreen for all her techs to read about me the following defamatory statement: "NEW CUST THAT IS VERY RUDE." Today 2/15/16, I complained to a female Ebonical assistant manager at the Walmart and she snottily walked away from me, rerusing to listen. I think both this so-called assistant manager and Husted carpool by sharing a broomstick to come to work. I have complained to the Arizona Pharmacy Board about not only the rudeness but the incompetence of Husted. Yes, I do mean incompetent: the very first day I first showed up to get my medicines, she messed up my prescription and tried to blame it on the prescribing physician. When I disputed that, she was argumentative, mouthy, and abusive, walking away from the counter and saying if I disagree with her I don't get any medicine. i think it would be a good idea for other dissatisfied customers to also contact the Arizona Pharmacy Board to complain about this horrid unprofessional, incolmpetent pharmacist. read more
