We had ordered an air conditioner ESA410N-L and they shipped an air conditioner of a totally different manufacturer, not even close. At the store the sales associate was not able to help us in any way except to accept the return and only with a manager's override, because the receipt they gave me was for the air conditioner we ordered. And all that had me wasting my time from 6:15pm 9-15-2015 to 7:30pm . And the week we waited for the wrong unit (That would not even fit the window if I was to take it home... I am a frequent shopper here at this walmart. I love coming to this store it has everything I need. It's very convenient and everyone is very helpful. I will never forget my first experience there, I was looking for a certain item and could not find it, so I asked the closest guy to me. His name was Marcell. Marcell was so helpful even though you guys didn't have what I wanted he suggest something else. He was a very sweet and kind young man and he didn't seem like I was bothering him he was so willing to help me and guide me in the right direction. I am very pleased with the staff there and everything is fast paced. The other people who wrote reviews visited the place when it first opened, clearly you have to give a brand new establishment that big a little while to adjust. This Walmart is awesome! It's the best store like it in Ventura or Oxnard. It's very clean inside, the shelves are well-organized and shopping is a breeze. It's a smaller Walmart, so there isn't an expanded food section as seen with the Super Walmarts. If you need supplies for the house at bargain prices, don't hesitate to stop by. It's kind of hard to find because it has such a low profile, which is another thing I kind of like about it. read more

I really like this Walmart and I'm glad that it opened up near me. The old Walmart in Oxnard is horrendous. This Walmart is a lot cleaner and less ghetto. In store service is Great but not having a phone operator to answer calls is unacceptable. I've been trying to reach someone for the last 3 hours and no one picks up phone calls. Phone just keeps on ringing. We shouldn't have to make the long drive out to the store when we should be able to get a quick answer over the phone in a matter of minutes. Also, when ordering online, sometimes we don't have the option of having our items delivered to our local store and we have to drive to the next city for pick up. Worst customer service! I tried to send money to a friend in Haiti through Money Gram, like I have done many times before. They always ask if you know the person because of numerous scams going on, and I know it is their job to do so. This associate asks me if I know the person, "Yes". She asks me, not very nicely, how? "I met him on a mission trip". She looks at my account, and asks me why I have sent so much money. "I have started a GoFundMe account and I am dispersing the funds gradually" She argues with me and tells me the money goes directly to the beneficiary only-(the person in Haiti) not the organizer (me) NOT True! I have control of the money, because he has no bank account! anyway, she decided to flag my account as FRAUD/SCAM. The rudest clerk I have ever seen. I called to talk to the manager, never tell them the reason you are calling. They put me on hold 25 minutes, then someone hung up on me. I went in to talk to the Assistant manager and she said, "They are trained that way for your protection, I'm not going to reprimand her, she should watch her tone". I have never been treated so rudely by a store associate before. I will never shop at Walmart again read more

Amazing store. We use to shop at the Oxnard Walmart which is a horrible store. The Victoria Walmart is clean and the staff helpful and nice. Tonight my daughter bought a girls bike for a friends daughter and had two young men help us, Dustin and Connor, who were helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. They made our experience very enjoyable. My daughter saved for this bike so this little girl could have one for Christmas since her mom has a limited income so she was excited about her purchase. The young men who helped her made this experience even better. We love this store! read more

Son used the bathroom. He told me around the end of him going #2, he heard the cleaner guy say a few times that no merchandise in the bathroom. He thought someone who came in was told that. Since my son has social issues especially when confronted, he came out of stall and the cleaner guy asked him what's jn his pocket. He got scared and walked away. Why in the world are the workers jumping to conclusions that he steals? If they must know, it was some wipes cause toilet paper is dry and thin there. Harrassed and embarrassed at self check over a $25 purchase. Karissa asked me if I was using credit I said yes and she asked for ID. Fine but this has never happened and it was in the car. As I completed my transaction she secretly called Maria who came and confronted me, taking my receipt and telling me transaction invalid. I said ok let me pay in cash. She said no! Took my receipt and the goods. I went out to my car to get my IF and she was gone. For all I know I just paid twice since I have no proof of cancellation for my first purchase. Today I happily went into Walmart to get my items that I had shipped to the store. I knew there was a mixup because I had received an email advising me that I had picked up the items on the 16th. But, the final item was due in today, the 21st and I went to get that and hoped the other orders would be there too. Jonita Garcia came over to help me and she found the one item, but couldn't locate the other part of the order. Another associate, Viola Hollowell came to help and she said she would check the warehouse receiving area. Neither one could locate my complete order. Jonita told me she wanted to call Walmart to find out where it could be, she reordered my lost order, advised me I would be receiving an email telling me when it would arrive. I love this great customer service from both these employees, but I am not finished! Next, I went to Taylor Barnes cashier lane and she was pleasant, told me about the Walmart app for saving money, green piggy bank. Taylor told me to have a great day, and I am. It is walmart after all - but not bad. The parking lot is messed up, but so are all the lots in Southern California - spaces too small. The employees at least so far have kept it cleaner than the typical walmart. I am currently involved in a 3 week customer service nightmare with this store! My mom purchased a 55" TV on Sept. 7th. She opened up the box on Sept. 10. The remote, the power cable, and mounting hardware were missing. She called the store and told them. She was instructed to return the TV. When she did, this whole nightmare began. When they took the TV out of the box to verify the serial numbers. They discovered that the serial number on the box did not match the one on the TV. Our first assumption was a packing error on the Vizio side. Whatever happened, we didn't have any idea that we would somehow be held responsible for it! Sadly, that is exactly what happened. The assistant Manager, Alan, basically told us that Walmart was not responsible for whatever it was that happened. Without saying we switched the TV, he said that there was no way that they could take the TV back. We were totally shocked! How could we, the customer, be at fault for purchasing whatever was in the box. In the 3 weeks that followed, I have been given the run around by every level of management that the National CS number assigns to the issue. We have been told over and over how Walmart is not responsible for selling us this TV. A multi-Billion dollar company and they refuse to admit that they are responsible and just exchange a TV that probably cost them a few hundred dollars. My mom is a senior citizen on a fixed income, the $700 that she paid for a TV that may or may not work and now has no warranty, is a huge amount of money! She and my dad purchased the TV with money they received for their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Our goal is to make sure that none of our family or friends ever shop at Walmart again! read more
