The exam was extremely thorough, and I loved the Optomap option instead of dilation; makes for a better drive home! The staff is incredibly friendly & helpful, and makes sure that your visit there is a happy and smooth one. I was recommended to go to Advanced Eyecare, and am very happy with my decision to go here. I also got glasses for the days that I don't wear contacts, and their selection is numerous! Lots to choose from. The optical department will make sure you get a pair that actually looks good on you...and I am a guy, so that is really not my forte! They also take the time to make sure that the glasses feel right, and are adjusted properly. My new contacts brand is also a bonus! The change in prescription Dr. Beneski suggested for me has been outstanding! Extremely happy with what she chose for me. All in all, I am very happy with my decision to come to Advanced Eyecare! I never, ever forgot it. It just came up that he's still in business and thought I'd share my experience and warn others to stay far away. I see them for an annual exam every year and have never gotten any bill with my insurance. This year, because they added a diagnosis for an issue that I have not had in 3 years, I was billed $50. I called my insurance company first, to determine what the issue was with my bill and was told that a diagnosis code was added that is not included in my annual exam. I was only there for an annual exam and was not having any issues with my eyes. When I called and spoke to the woman in billing, she was very rude and told me that I can call my insurance company, and do a 3-way call, so they can both tell me that I am wrong. I really did not appreciate being spoken down to in that manner. They have lost 2 patients now, as neither I nor my husband will be coming back to this office.

It was time for my wife's annual eye exam. They always get you in here with their "specials", but…read moreI always see the trap three steps ahead and then hit you with the final bill 4-5x the amount. The store was clean and the customer service was always friendly and prompt as they're selling their product, but when you are waiting on them...they are the worst! Got the eye exam and ordered glasses with contacts...waited several weeks before they called to say the glasses were ready for pickup. So, I went there and told them I was picking up my wife's order. The representative gave me the pair of glasses but didn't mention the contacts were in as well. After waiting a couple more weeks without any notification, I decided to call them to get an update on the estimated arrival of the contacts. It was at this time they informed me the contacts arrived prior to my first visit to pick up the glasses. Hence, I was not pleased to make a second trip to their store due to their negligence of not giving me the contacts with the glasses all at the same time. Also, having to initiate the call on the status of the contacts. It was just sitting within their contacts drawer with a note on it that they left a message. I spoke to the manager and informed him of the situation; he was helpless as he kept making excuses for his staff and did not take responsibility for the broken processes his staff had failed to connect the contacts and glasses to the same order! Overall, very disappointing experience with this ABC&E. I need to call corporate to highlight this location's shortcomings and hopefully fix their customer order notification process.
