We typically go with America's Best for glasses but since hubby and I are new to the area and have…read morevision insurance now, which we did not have before, we decided to try something different when we went for our eye exams this year. Originally we were going to go with Pearl Vision, which is just down the street from here, but the reviews scared us off and I settled on Eye Optique instead. My son had gone here for contacts a few months ago and seemed pleased with his experience and they have generally good reviews too. Scheduling our appointment online was easy and we received both confirmation and reminders about it after making it. There was plenty of availability to choose from. We scheduled our appointments back to back so that we could knock it all out at once. The doctor was great! She was professional and thorough. Both hubby and I felt comfortable with the exam and her competence. The guy working the front was also very professional and friendly. Once the glasses came in, he took his time to ensure that the fit was perfect for each of us before we left. While we spent more than we normally do at America's Best even with insurance covering a portion of it, we feel like the service and quality live up to the cost. The issue is that they don't have any cheap frames. Most options are designer names. Since we typically only get reading glasses, I will most likely just do the exam here and order frames online going forward because I'm cheap and not interested in spending big bucks on reading glasses that I hate wearing anyway, but this is no reflection on the quality of Eye Optique, which I think is top notch, and I am glad we ended up here.

I have passed this eye doctor a zillion times but never stopped in. I called to inquire about an…read moreeye exam as well as a contact lens exam. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that $110 without insurance would get me both exams. The Dr is not in on Wednesdays so I chose a Saturday morning appointment. This location is next door to UPS store and Baskin Robbins. You can see it off the street clearly. It's in the same shopping plaza as Chipotle and Sprouts. The parking is free and plentiful. I always dread going to any doctor but I knew that I needed a new prescription. My last eye exam was at America's Best during the pandemic so I was a year or 2 behind. This experience was one of the best Dr visits I have encountered. Dr. Boyd was extremely knowledgeable and polite. My wait time was minimal. And I received 3 different contact samples with pretty clear instructions. They do sell eyeglasses and if you don't have insurance.. it's 30% off the frames. I definitely recommend this place. The level of care is superb!

Money is all they care about, not customer satisfaction. Order a pair of progresive reading glasses…read moreover a year ago, but could never wear them. When I looked down at the foor, the floor appeared 10 feet away, When looked up through the top portion of the lense same thing. The only time I could get sharp vision was if I looked through the very center of the lense. 2 months ago I decided to try a new pair. Had the exam from Dr. Lam, and like before I was escorted to the optical side of the building for new frames. Yesterday I went to pick them up, but while there I could read 8, 10 and 12 point type. But the lettering on the wall which was 20 inches tall was blurry. The sample reading card 8"x8" I was holding looked like a trapazoid! Not Square! The young lady who was fitting me for frames said "we made a mistake and "they" must have over prescribed the lenses. Finally, this morning I called at 9:50 to cancel my 10:15 appointment. I live 5 minutes away. They receptionist said they are going to charge me anothe $50 cancellation fee because they have a 15 minute window limitation on cancellations! Go figure! They will not grant a refund, not part of their policy, even though they admitted by their glass-fitter it to being their own error! They got their $$$ and all they can say is sorry.

Unfortunately, this Marietta location has now given me the same experience two years in a row, and it's consistently poor. I ordered glasses on January 3rd based on the advertised 10-day delivery timeframe. Since then, I've received multiple changing explanations for delays, each only communicated after the previous promised date had already passed. First it was a frame backorder, then lens grinding delays, and most recently a broken lens and backordered lens material pushing delivery even further out. At no point was any of this proactively communicated. I had to call each time to find out what had changed. To make matters more confusing, I received an automated "hope your glasses are working out" survey while being told the order was still weeks from completion. The issue here isn't that delays happen. It's the lack of transparency, ownership, and communication. Other LensCrafters stores clearly manage this better, which makes this feel like a local management issue rather than a brand-wide one. If timelines slip, customers should be told early and clearly, not after deadlines pass. I wanted to give this store the benefit of the doubt, but experiencing the same pattern across two different years makes it hard to recommend.

Restored Vision. Renewed Life. A Standard of Care the Nation Should Notice…read more In a time when true excellence in healthcare can feel rare, my experience with Charles Ho at Marietta Eye Clinic deserves national recognition. Dr. Ho performed cataract surgery on both my left and right eyes and completed a precise optical alignment procedure that has completely transformed my vision. My astigmatism has been corrected, and I now have clear, crisp distance sight--something I had gradually lost and honestly thought I might never fully regain. Today, I see the world with a level of clarity that feels nothing short of remarkable. But this story is bigger than improved eyesight. It is about trust placed in a physician--and that trust being honored with excellence. It is about precision meeting compassion. From the first consultation through recovery, Dr. Ho demonstrated not only elite surgical skill, but a level of professionalism, calm confidence, and patient-centered care that should serve as a national benchmark. In healthcare, outcomes matter--and mine exceeded every expectation. In leadership, consistency matters--and Dr. Ho delivered at every step. In service, humanity matters--and it was evident throughout my entire experience. I, William Louis Baker, do not offer this praise lightly. After decades of leadership and decision-making in high-stakes environments, I recognize excellence when I see it. Dr. Charles Ho represents the very best of modern medicine--where skill, integrity, and results come together to truly change lives. If there is a standard for what ophthalmologic care in America should look like--this is it.
