He gives you your options of contact lenses and does a thorough check up and is gentle to your eyes. The facility is clean and the receptionist was very sweet and made you feel at home. I didn't have to worry about my copay because the assistant took the extra step in billing my insurance. Downfall is parking was a bit of a challenge since all the businesses shares parking and it was hard to find. Remember this place is under Mcdonalds at the Pearl City Shopping Center adjacent to Chuck E. Cheese.

I was promptly taken back, the receptionist is very welcoming and overall my appointment was great. I have to return in a month and was pleasantly surprised that my appointment was easy to make (no long wait for follow up appointment) and I don't have to take off of work to attend my follow up. I took him to his ophthalmologist, who gave him a prescription. Cousin was so excited to go to Lenscrafters at Pearlridge Mall... he said it was the best store because you get your glasses in an hour! Located on the upper level of "Uptown Pearlridge", right next to Macy's, we were greeted by Ross. He was very friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and helpful! I told him that cousin thinks he can get glasses in an hour... not true anymore. Depending on the prescription, glasses might be ready in about 10 days. Ross told me how much insurance would cover and that there's a 20% discount after that! Yay! This location is very spacious, organized, clean, and bright! We had a great experience! The selection of glasses are predominantly thick, big plastic frames. Most are way too big for my…read moreface. There's always a turnover of technicians. Some know what they're doing but most don't. My glasses are always slipping down my nose, yet none of the technicians have been able to solve this problem. One overdid it so badly that she warped my frames--Costco had to replace them free of charge. I tried to get smaller frames, but they didn't have much to choose from. They are not cheap and they keep pushing for the progressive lenses that darken/lighten. Glasses don't last more than 5 years before the coating they put on your lenses starts to flake off. When I asked them not to put on the coating, they refused.

I had interactions with 4 different people that day all 4 four were great! Help at home and treated me as family not just another customer. First person was the receptionist, young girl with glasses, helped me fill out forms and answered questions about my insurance coverage. Second person was the lady in the back that blew air into my eyes. Third person was the eye doctor, talked story and made me feel at ease when doing the whole " 1 or 2" exam. And last person I had during the experience was the lady with her side computer that informed me of all my different payment options, and covered in great details about the glasses and work safety glasses my insurance covered, End of the day this is the only place I will be going for all my eye needs.
