The service here has gotten so terrible. I am a longtime customer Drew and other people always help me and they always got whatever I needed done immediately without any issues. I bought at least four or five pairs of glasses and probably an extra pair of frames. I get warranties on the items every time. So I go in there with a pair of glasses that I stepped on it's my fault. But my warranty covers a replacement frame. By the way the frames are very inexpensive frames. They're probably costing less to them than actually the warranty is costing me. I've never had to go into this place three times to get something done. I've gone in three times and I'm super frustrated. Drew, where are you? When do you work cause I'll come in then! So the first time this lovely lady fixed my glasses and assured me they would be fine. They were still completely bent not as bad as when I brought them in and she did get the lens back in. The main issue is one of the lenses keeps falling out. And I told her it will probably fall out again and she says oh no I fix them. Episode two I come back again after setting them down and having the lens fall out. And Meyn knew the frames are still bent at this point not from additional damage. But from the original repair. She get tweaks and Ben And as a new Scroo. Which keeps Luce, but she keeps tightening it. And she assures me now that these frames are still good and long as the frames are not broken they're not gonna replace them. Well, the frame well the frame is not snapped in half and the arm is still on it, but these frames are broken. They do not hold the lens. It keeps falling out and dropping onto the ground behind my bed scratching every time on something. So now I am having issues with my lenses being functional, especially the right one. Anyway, you can tell I am not very happy! It is Sunday and I'm taking an overnighter to fly across the country. And to drive back with a car. And I don't have functional glasses. I managed to squeeze in one more minute to take another visit to see if I can finally get a replacement frame. I will gladly pay for a new frame. I just want one the holds my lenses in. I don't think that's a lot to ask. It's nothing in fact. You need to give me a new freaking frame you guys. So I looked up their hours and I found out they were open today and I rushed down there and they're closed on Sunday. Maybe you should change how your hours are listed in public. For example, on yelp which I'm using right now it says you're open today and you're not. If you guys Don't want repeat customers. You're doing a great freaking job. read more

You don't usually think of Walmart for prescription glasses but they do a terrific job! Their technicians know what they are doing and they are competively priced with a very good selection of frames in many different price ranges. read more

I visited this location to order glasses; this would be my sixth pair of glasses from Wal-Mart Vision Center in nine years; from this location as well as the Richmond location here in California. This has by far been the worst experience yet. I ordered glasses on February 17, 2020 and was told that since there was no expiration date on my prescription which was written a few months prior that they'd have to contact the doctor for an expiration date; now, the law as I know it is that eye glass prescriptions expire two years from the date written UNLESS there's an expiration date on them. I didn't have a problem at the other place I got my reading glasses from; but Wal-Mart insists it must have an expiration date. They weren't going to let me pay for them until they had the prescription with the expiration date; but after explaining to Gabby/Gaby that I'd driven quite a distance and I didn't want to have to come back, she agreed to process the order and contact my eye doctor the next day; well, not her, but someone else who would be working the following day. I contacted my doctor the next morning and the woman at his office was upset at the incompetency of Wal-Mart Vision Center and asked why I went there; and frankly, it's more cost effective and I've never had a problem in the past. As a matter of fact, normally, the glasses come in early and are fabulous. I got a call from Anna about six days after stating my glasses arrived but the axis was off, she then proceeded to tell me that Wal-Mart Vision Center was sending them back to Nikon "under warranty" for repair. That didn't seem like an acceptable business practice, why use my warranty for a mistake in processing at the lab? Fast forward to the next week and I spoke with Gabby/Gaby and was told the glasses weren't in yet, but they had to send my frames with the defective lenses and she would get back to me. I had a call back later and Gabby/Gaby was very apologetic, and told me she'd asked Nikon to do a rush on the order, and they should be in on Monday or Tuesday (today) of the following week, she was also going to speak with a manager about a gift card for the inconvenience. Today I called and spoke with Stacie/Stacy, and the glasses are not in from Nikon; she was going to call and find out what was going on, she confirmed they sent the frames with the lenses to Nikon and there was a rush request. I'll be waiting for her to get back to me today (3.10.2020) Update: Stacie/Stacy called, the glasses will be in tomorrow 3.11.2020 At this point I'd much prefer a full refund and to go elsewhere. read more

They told me it would take a week to get my glasses. I ordered them April first and was told I would get them April ninth at the latest. I called April 7th to get an update on the progress of my glasses being ready and was told that the current status is them still only being an order request. Now I'm being told that the estimated ready date is the 12th but it still may be longer. So even though I was told 7 days for them to be ready, now they're telling me it may even be 11 days or longer. As someone who gets bad headaches without her glasses, I would have chosen a faster more reliable option had I known it would take this long. So they should not have told me 7 days. The frames I picked were really cute but for almost $200 and them not excepting medical, I'm not very thrilled with my purchase at this point. read more

Don't believe the hype , they won't let you buy glasses if your Medi-Cal or Medicaid Even if you have cash , after an hour of discussing lenses and frames and filling out forms then they informed me of this store policy, when I asked why didn't they tell me this upfront again it was store policy not to I was told by my insurance carrier partnership, that this policy was illegal and I am thinking about legal recourse against them but don't waste your time, as they wasted mine. I was assisted by Steve who was exceptionally knowledgeable and attentive to my particular requirements for progressive lenses. All in all, I felt the service at this Walmart vision center was more personalized than I was accusomed to receiving elsewhere. I was also suprised to find out how reasonably their frames were priced. I noticed that from time to time it can get exceptionally busy here, but you will be served in turn and the wait is worth it. read more

Very poor customer service. I went there hoping to buy both prescription glasses and contacts but left without buying either one. The lady helping me seemed very overwhelmed and in turn provided very bad customer service. She was rude and left me feeling rushed and neglected. It's not my fault that your vision center was not properly staffed! I will be bringing my business elsewhere, where I am treated properly. read more

Fast, efficient, very courteous service. Frankly, I didn't expect any of this at a Wal-Mart. However, not only did I save $$ on my prescription glasses, the associates were also much more knowledgeable, friendly, and relaxed than at a local $$$ optometrist's.
