All I wanted and needed was my current subscription- for progressive glasses I purchased from a Walmart Vision Center in Texas filled as non-progressive. I asked Walmart if they could refill my existing prescription. "Sir.. no... we are an independent optometrist." Then I asked if they could simply pull up from their system my old prescription. They reluctantly did so, but then told me the prescription was expired. Ok.. can I simply see and have the existing prescription? "No sir, you can't have it and we can't show it to you". Frustrated, I left and went to PEEPERS. Peepers ASKED me what I needed and after learning about my frustrating experience at a Walmart Vision Center- informed me I did not need my existing prescription. They can determine wat I needed by merely inspecting my current glasses. Wallah.... I had new non progressive glasses from Peepers in just 2 hours! Peepers is a well oiled machine. Its now my go to place for anything Vision.

Dora were awesome as was the staff at The Villages and Leesburg. I am 71 years old and have worn glasses since I was 7 years old in Elementary School. When cataracts affected me where I shouldn't be driving, I made the appointment and opted to have my stigmatism corrected with the cataract removal. Dr Panzo and the Mt Dora office staff spent the time on each visit to check my eyes, map and keep records of my eyes and what was needed to eliminate the cataracts and the stigmatism. The two operations were successful and my vision is now 20/20. I would recommend Dr. Panzo and the Mid Florida Eye Center to anyone looking for either of both of these procedures. I knew this in advance. When my glasses arrived, the prescription was way off. I could not see correctly in my left eye. I returned for a new exam, this time, the Optometrist was in person. He apologized for the goof up, discovered my prescription was incorrect, and re-ordered new lenses. 7 days later, I called to ask if they were ready. A rep told me the lenses were there, but had to be fitted to my frame. Was told they'd be ready the next day. I called the next day, and was told again, the lenses were there, but needed to be placed in the frame. Ugg!!! 2 weeks without my sunglasses. Torture. Just called and found out my sunglasses are finally ready. NEVER AGAIN. FULL STOP. NEVER NEVER NEVER.
