I can't have overnight shipping but I can have 2-day shipping so I'll miss my flight... because why?? His optometrist rudely would not answer but cut me off to dictate me "she was not going to argue about it!" Um, it's a basic everyday transaction. You fill out the shipping slip the exact same way except you check the overnight box and charge me accordingly. It would cost me hundreds more to stay longer than necessary just because an eye doctor needs to draw a line in the sand about the cost of inflation? It's my extra $15 dollars buddy. I can not eat out one meal for the ability to see clearly for a couple years. Sheesh! Perhaps they should have told me that when I made the appointment, you think!? Then I wouldn't have made special arrangements so that I could get glasses in time. Instead they chose to waste the money I spent on an Uber to go to and from the appointment, the hours of my time in exam and choosing frames, and holding the money I put down on the order, for naught. Not to mention the weeks wasted that I would have been able to get my exam and glasses from a legitimate business. My husband and I repeatedly stated we made appointments for just the vision exams. We feel we were discriminated against and they tried to charge us extra because of our age. Each member, from start to finish did a great job in making her feel comfortable, secure and walking her through each process of testing. This office is very kid friendly and I'd highly recommend checking them out for any eye care needs. We finished off with trying on some glasses, which they had plenty of options to choose from. The ophthalmologist was fantastic, the billing/insurance/front office is either 1) misinformed or 2) not being forthcoming with how much they will charge. I was reassured over and over that although my insurance told me I would not be covered, by someone named Janelle that 'I promise you, it's ok and we'll take care of billing it correctly so it will be covered. If the staff doesn't do it correctly, ask for me". Well, it wasn't AND there are apparently two Janelle's in the office... so no one wanted to take responsibility for the statement made. Do yourself a favor and go into Gresham or the other Sandy eye clinic. I will tell everyone I know that they need to avoid this clinic - not because of the care, but because of their billing/sheistyness/and dishonest staff. I just paid 140.00 more for their services when I was told many times there would not be extra charges because of the way they would bill my insurance. Just don't do it. P.S.
