If you don't know EXACTLY what you want, and know EXACTLY where it is in the store, don't come here. Because if you can't go in and out like a commando in the jungle, you will become overwhelmed and start hearing the "Psycho" shower scene very loudly in your head. We come here for specific items because we know the prices. The only time we spend any time in here is if they've moved the inventory around. We get twitchy and stabby if we have to be in here, and have to shout "NO"! at the solicitors outside. There is plenty of room for wheelchairs and scooters. An incredibly rude bunch of cashiers at this location today. They kept chattering among themselves in some Middle Eastern language and the cashier basically threw the receipt at me when we were finished. I have found that this store is consistently out of items but have kept shopping here since it is close to me. Good amount of stuff in here at decent prices. But the workers are anything but helpful for the most part. I know it must suck to work there but at least try to make other peoples visit there a bit better. The cashiers are terrible and no help either. They dont even train them properly. Pretty disappointed I came into the Walmart and got a few items with no problems found a few items on some awesome deals as I went to Pay the price didn't add up to what I got impulsively I purchased the items and I looked over on the receipt I clearly saw the items that I thought I had a smoking deal on were four times the amount which was listed on the shelf I I then was forced to go to customer service then wait a long line to get my money back which I did then walking back to the car I noticed that the other items weren't the same prices that were on the shelf if you come to this Walmart Make sure you're watching everything that is getting a ring up very carefully so you're not getting charged an arm and a leg for something minuscule read more

This is definitely your stereotypical Walmart. Long lines and all. However, they do keep a good stock of merchandise. They just revamped some of the isles and seemed to have rid of the fresh produce (ex apples, oranges, grapefruits) they used to sell. read more

This has been my walmart for years. Though things are changing. To day I had to do some returns for my girl. (Not something I like doing, as you'll see) the returns manger gave my the riot act for returning some nail polish..? Yeah she started in about going in the back with my merchandise to return moments later telling my that it wasn't in fact my girl who purchased said items. Look people I do not have e.s.p. I ordered a water pump to empty my pool for about $32.00. It was defected. It didn't have a proper wire to connect to electricity. The manager in Walmart told me that because it was purchased from a third party, she can not accept it. I have to take it to Van Nuys branch. I called in and I hope that they accept. Both stores are about 20 minutes away from me. I didn't like that pregnant manager. She left in the middle of the conversation leaving me upset and upside down. read more

This has nothing to do with customer service or speedy checkout. Because this Walmart fails at prompt service. However, for 5 stars I have to give it to the building engineers who built this Walmart over 15 or 20 years ago. They made this former Kmart Blue Light Store into a Walmart. And they made it Earthquake resistant. When we had the recent 7.1 quake. I was inside buying something. I saw the shelves rocking back and forth. And afterwards I saw stupid people panicking to the exits and causing a mass herd. That is the worst thing to do during a earthquake! You need to be calm and see where you can throw yourself under for protection. I am grateful, because the store withstood the rocky shake and never came down. Would this have been 1971, this building would of fallen to the ground! So thank you engineers & builders for this Walmart! read more

Besides the ridiculously long lines the prices are great. There's always a line and always have a tough time finding parking. But can't complain, everyone is trying to get the same inexpensive deal. There open till a decent hour and carry almost anything you need. read more

I love this walmart it is clean. I DO NOT HAVE TO RUN MY CART INTO PEOPLE IN AISLES BECAUSE THERE IS NOT A MILLION CUSTOMERS LIKE MOST WALMARTS. Their return and exchange process is simple. The cashiers are very friendly and knowledgable about products in store. I would give five stars however, I do not like that my phone does not get internet service while in store makes it difficult to compare products or write reviews while in store. I usually really like this store but today 8/9/15 at apporx. 12 noon I called to find out about a product that's not currently in stock so I wanted to see perhaps when it might be back or if a near by store has it. The "girl" who answered the phone and said she was the customer service manager was not helpful nor did she even TRY to be helpful AT ALL!!!! She said she couldn't find the product and I said well Im looking at it right now online. So she puts me on hold and never came back to the phone. Love the prices but the store is almost always out of the things I need....like water, soap and toothpaste!! They also used to be my go to for a particular facewash but they now have a Walmart version that's just as good. This is your average Wal-Mart, so nothing really makes it special. However the workers there are friendly and I never have to search for them. It can get super busy during the weekends, so your best option is to go during the day time. Parking can get a bit crazy since it's a mall strip. There is a Coin-star, Netflix, and a Mcdonald's inside. read more

My daughter was looking for some hair extensions. Online it said that they carried it at Walmart (not at all my favorite store) I drove way out of my way there to accommodate her desire to buy hair extensions, even thou I just had ankle surgery. They didn't have anything even close to it. She chose something else. When I went to check out while on my knee walker and temporally disable, two different check out registers declined to check my out. I had to weave in an out of the check registers to finally have to use self checkout-of only 3 items. The people there are so rude and the store a mess. This is one of the better Wal Marts I've been too. I have to drive about 25 mins or so on the 101 to get here so I don't come all the time. Walmart is cheaper on their stuff then Target so when I go I stock up. It's to me feels like home unlike the Van Nuys and the Crenshaw ones. read more

I ordered a tablet and went in to pick it up. I waited about 15 minutes for someone to help me and another 15 minutes for my item to get to me. Way to slow. The worker was nice though but worked way too slow to get my tablet. There needs to be an increase in customer service. read more
