This place is a true hidden gem, located between Little Haiti and Magic City. My husband and i celebrated our anniversary there last night and chose to sit at the Chef's counter, which was very comfortable and fun to watch each dish be made. Every part of the dinner was fantastic; from the lovely hostess, incredibly friendly and helpful staff to the most important-the food! We decided to order smaller dishes and skip any main courses or pizza-although from the look of the pizzas and other reviews it's definitely worth ordering one of their signature pizzas. We started with the roasted oysters-cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Then came my favorite of the night; their signature sourdough bread with cultured butter and anchovies. The bread comes out scorching hot and combined with the butter and not overly salty anchovies this was (sorry to sound so corny) divine. I could eat this all day every day. The tuna carpaccio was next; it's served with a miso eggplant puree. This was zesty, bright and really well executed. Next up the Wagyu Tataki-the steak was so tender and juicy; my only critique is that the bottarga on top made it a little too salty, but still absolutely delicious. We actually didn't originally order the chicory salad, but after seeing it plated for mulitiple tables we couldn't resist. Let me tell y'all something I am a foodie through and through, but the ONE herb I cannot stand is Dill. This salad had me questioning my life's choices about Dill because this was phenomenal. The salad was slightly bitter from the chicory and balanced beautifully with the sweet apple slices. I think I might actually be a Dill fan now The last dish we ordered was bone marrow with more of their sourdough bread; again a perfectly executed dish. Wine and beer only, wines by the glass were pretty pricey, but not insane. Menu prices were pretty reasonable for Miami and they do offer a happy hour menu too. One of our favorite meals we had in Miami. Sat at the bar for the Sunday evening happy hour and thoroughly enjoyed both the happy hour cocktails they had on the menu. We ordered the rodeo za, which was super tasty and a good size. We loved the maple glaze on the crust, super unique and a great touch. Also LOVED the mushroom appetizer we ordered, probably just as much if not more than the pizza. For dessert we got the holy cannoli, we thought it would be a normal cannoli and were surprised at the cake-like shape it had but enjoyed it. Highly recommend! read more

Weird, weird and overpriced!! The food all sounded really good and adventurous, but the first thing we got was a $9 order of bread with olive oil. I usually refuse to pay for bread like that, but the bartender's enthusiasm for the bread and the 14 year old starter they work from made me intrigued. What showed up was a piece of bread the thickness of a pizza crust the size of a highball glass laid sideways. That's $9 at this place. I started looking on Yelp for where I could go to eat after this "meal", as this wasn't my first rodeo and I knew any place charging this much for this little would leave me hungry when I was done. We had ordered three entrees and this bread for three people. We paid $28 for a truffle, sausage, mushroom pizza that just left me sad. They had used some weirdo cheese on it that gave it a strange tang, like an off note on a piano, when that same note hit again for my second bite - that was it, done with that. I had really been excited by other reviewers pics of the lasagna, but no one pointed out that it is the length and half the thickness of two cigarette packs. The bartender where we were sitting noticed my search for other restaurants and didn't ask if we liked anything, he just kept pushing out the entrees. He obviously had seen this kind of dissatisfaction before and wasn't about to engage in how to fix it. Anyhow, by the time my two dinner partners at this crime scene were done, we all were still hungry and I had a good pizza joint picked for us to move on to. You know how on the dating apps there's all these fake profiles and they first write you, and you get all excited? Then after a couple of exchanges, you realize the pictures are way too professional, and the person is a bit too polite in their correspondence to be real? Well, the thing about Walrus Rodeo is that it's like that, but it is real and it likes you back. The food, menu, ingredients, wine list and service are so well thought out it's not only here to school us in what's good right not in gastronomy, it's here to level up Miami's food game. I shared a pizza, a pasta, a salad, a dessert and a bottle of wine with a friend and everything was delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. The space is very odd and they are clearly in need of a dining room that merits the brilliance happening in the kitchen, but that's not a dealbreaker for me. We visited for Marinaras and Magnums on Monday and I can only say good things about this place. I absolutely loved the ambiance, private, but not super quiet. Before I delve into the food, I want to congratulate the sommelier and waitress who were nothing more than amazing. I was glad to accept the recommendation of the sommelier, and I was pleased of attentive of our needs our waitress was. I enjoyed every single bite and sip, the pizzas were delicious, the broccolini was so yummy that my companion, who does not like veggies, said it was probably the best he had eaten, and the dessert was scrumptious. Way too hyped. He had the hanger steak, but we were not informed that it was cooked sous vide. Nor was mention of sous vide on the menu and waitress didnt inform us. It makes sense theyd cook a cheap piece of meat , basically boil it in a bag, so it can become more tender, but this was disgusting. Grey steak , mushy with no taste. Could have come out of a WWII ration can where it was sitting in pond water. I guess its their version of Steak au poivre- but i missed the peppercorns and flavoring you get from cooking it in a skillet. We split the anchovy pizza. Two anchovies on entire pizza. Youve got to be kidding me. Then I thought, okay maybe the sauce is infused with anchovy paste. No, just a 1mm light smear of sauce. What I will give them was that, when I asked for extra anchovies, they gave me 2 (skimp- these are some of the cheapest fish), but they were delicious. I had the gnocchi, Im hoping it was homemade, but I doubt it considering the weight of the pasta. And the caper-raisin relish- it felt they were trying to hard. Those two flavors are not compatible, yes you have sweet, salty, but when you have biter capers it doesnt work. Its in a strip mall, not a great interior nor layout. finally got a chance to visit and am in love with the pepperoni pizza with black sauce (black garlic), the mustard lasagna, and the blne marrow- which came with the most delicious fresh doughy bread. the kale salad was also delicious in flavor, though it was a bit overdressed for my taste. the hamachi is tasty, but it wasnt the right option as the final dish of the night it would have been perfect coursed before the lasagna. the wine by glass selection is ok, but nothing to write home about. they do not have a full bar, just beer and wine and low abv cocktails made from the same. will come back for more pizza! read more

I should've made my review sooner but I can in for dinner 3 Mondays ago. We were greeted and gratefully introduced by our hostess Anne. I had to ask her what were her favs and let me tell you how grateful I was that I took her word! I started with the carpaccio and peaches and burrata. All the food was coming as ready as come which I absolutely loved because every time we were finishing, we had new plates coming. The peaches and burrata definitely was one of the best things I ever tasted. It was an explosion of flavors. It was amazingly delicious wow and that carpaccio was really good as well. So good! Those two are a must when coming, you will have no regrets. We then got arincini which was delicate but I was dipping it in the peaches haha to give it more oomph. That hamachi collar was sooo delicious!! Chef definitely made that collar come to life in a great way. The steak was pretty average but with the potato and cream it was definitely needed together. Chocolate tart was very fudgy perfect for chocolate lovers! With a lightly torched merengue, it gave it a nice touch. We tried the house wine, I actually preferred it over my cocktails. But I'll definitely visit again to give another cocktail a try and to try some other items! Really great experience. Everyone was knowledgeable and kind. One of the best restaurants in Miami. If you haven't been here what are you doing ? The most delicious wine and pizza I've ever had with the best customer service on top of everything. They have happy hour every day until 7pm at the bar. If you go you must try the kale salad, it's so flavorful and one of the best salads I've ever had. The Spicy ZA is my favorite pizza, they cool it to perfection and the ingredients are out of this world. Every single food item comes out with the perfect temperature. On top of everything they have the best playlist going at all times and it's not too loud that you can't talk to the other person. The restaurant is a perfect size and dimly lit, perfect for date night. I've been here twice in one month after trying it once. Can't wait to go back. read more

This place deserves all the top reviews and "Best" restaurants in Miami! What a beautiful experience and even better food! I've always wanted to try it out since it opened and never had a chance. Finally booked a reservation at 7 pm on a Monday (which they had Magnum Monday deals). It was pretty full when we got there. The interior design is just so twangy and unique. There is a bar area, then seating and then the oven brick in the back. Our service was top notch and they always made sure we had everything we needed. We ordered a few dishes that were recommended to me from before. I had the natural wine of the Monday and it was great! Every dish apparently touches the oven with one of its ingredients, which makes this place super unique. The kale salad was to die for with such a wonderful dressing. The pizza delicious and that dough was superb. The bone marrow is a MUST. The lasagna was different in appearance but melted in your mouth. What an experience! I was visiting a friend and she chose this spot and I'm so glad she did. We sat at the chef's counter, so we were able to watch them make the food right in front of us. Our server was so knowledgeable and helpful while choosing what to order. He gave us some recommendations and told us his favorites and also popular dishes. He was fantastic! Made our dinner experience even better. We started with some very unique drinks. A martini that used tomato sauce, wow so good!!! And their take on a spicy margarita, also amazing. We started with the oysters that were out of this world, the breadcrumbs on top really pulls it all together. We got the bone marrow which is always so good, a little salty but that's okay. Our serve brought some brandy and we took a "shot" with the remainder of the bone marrow juices and whatnot. So cool! We then shared the lamb lasagna which was incredible! Overpriced for what you get. Tiny 10" pies with a 2" crust per slice (see pictures), size obviously doesn't matter to them. But size always matters. The good: nothing. The mediocre: pizza was just ok, ordered the White Hot Za pie and the Margarita Za, really nothing good about them. Flavor was kinda bland with a rubbery texture, the crust was decent I guess but no one buys pizza for the crust. The bad: these pies are tiny! Only 10" and you lose about 2" per slice to the crust, so technically they're 6" to 7" at best. Also the pizza boxes came without any security seal/tape. You're charging $18 for what comes out to be basically two slices when comparing a large pizza and you can't secure the box with a piece of tape? If you're looking for good pizza, find it elsewhere because all you get here is boring, bland pizza. read more

A very good meal with excellent, unpretentious service. We had the burrata which was definitely a standout, and the bone marrow which we all thought was fine but lacking something. Had the carpaccio which was absolutely yummy. Had the lasagna which was really unusual and delicious, with kind of a Mediterranean taste to it. Really good. Also had the speck pizza. Pizza was very good, but, to be absolutely honest, didn't really knock our socks off or anything. Just real good pizza. We're from NYC. Real good pizza is all over the place. Had the pineapple cake for dessert. Was fine. Talking to each other was difficult. There was music, but that wasn't the problem at all, it was very very low. It was just the acoustics of this place are absolutely terrible. People talking at normal volume around you make it incredibly noisy, which makes it not such a pleasant experience. A bit torn on this experience. With soo many amazing reviews, I was ready for stellar food. While many were great, some fell short. The ambience is really nice and different from most Miami restaurants. It did feel a bit hipster for my taste, but that's not necessarily a bad thing lol. Service was phenomenal, our waitress was nice and my water glass was never empty. That's a huge plus for me. Now for the food: -Agua Fresca cocktail: 5/10 - not my favorite. Felt like a watered down watermelon drink. Neither the watermelon nor the sake was strong enough. I would pass on this. -Bone Marrow: 7/10 - tasty! If you don't like the taste of chimichurri (though that would be crazy!) don't order this. There's sooo much on it. -Peaches and Burrata: 100000/10 - this was the standout dish of the night for me! It was perfection. The peaches had such a wonderful oven-baked taste. This is a must order. -Maitake Mushroom: 6.5/10 - this was a miss for me. I couldn't put my finger on exactly what I didn't love, but the other people I was with really liked it. -Stuffed Peppers: 10/10 - this was another win! I found this dish to be absolutely delicious. It felt extremely homey and like a warm hug in every bite. -Crudo 9/10 - another great one! I would have never thought to pair celery with crudo but wow was it a great combination. -Rodeo Za 3/10 - this was unfortunately my least favorite dish of the night. Man- I wish I'd listened to the Time Out review bc it was SPOT ON! Most disappointing is the misuse of the imported pizza oven that supposedly inspired the whole menu. The chefs' lack the balls to really use the fire, failing to truly char anything. We spent $300 for the below items and they all had the same problem. We ordered the burrata (which was the best dish we had), artichokes, and oysters--all of which arrived annoyingly at the same time with what felt like pressure to get moving. Then the bone marrow, which was underdone with too pungent a green sauce on top. Lasagna was in the right direction and creative, but way too salty. And the Roni za which was imbalanced like when you give a child balsamic glaze, pepperoni, sun-dried tomatoes, and Parmesan to play with. The pizza dough/bread was also nearly there, but again they failed to let the oven do its magic. Don't sit at the chefs counter bc you'll only experience a night of shifting from one side to the other as the attentive staff has to adjust your position to serve food, remove plates, and refill water, one of the least relaxing or satisfying meals I've paid for, We hope the chef learns how to successfully play with fire and realizes that heat dries out and intensifies flavors so maybe dial it back on the salt and intensity of every flavor that all just compete with one another and ruin the actual dishes. Came as part of my 7000 mile 24 city road trip. First, my server was fantastic! Super knowledgeable of the items and gave a ton of feedback on her suggestions. The star was the Cornballer Za Pizza! Wood fired with chanterelle mushrooms, corn, Gruyère, and Fresno peppers! The char on the delicious dough was great. Almost wish the Fresno brough a bit more heat than it did. Also had the Cabbage Carbonara which was Pancetta, pecorino, and fermented hollandaise. This one admittedly threw me off a bit. While it tasted good, the cabbage seemingly replaced noodles for a fettuccini Alfredo vibe, but I swear, all I could smell during the entire dish was that childhood memory of opening up a Lipton Alfredo just add milk or water packet. Absolutely 5 stars. This place is amazing from beginning to end. Who knew veggies were so tasty???? Carrot tartare - this sounds totally bizarre, but honestly was so tasty. They make it have a sort of meaty taste but it's still light. Carrot chips too! Lions mane mushroom carpaccio - this one had crunchy peas, and the dashi made it taste slightly more like Chinese / Japanese cuisine. Bone marrow - I love bone marrow so it's always a winner. I would say out of everything on the menu it wowed me the least. But I still enjoyed it. Their pizzas! Get a pizza. The corn pizza was shockingly good. I loved it and would eat it again in a heartbeat. Quail - perfectly cooked and seasoned. Veggies under were tasty too. Amazing anniversary dinner at Walrus Rodeo! We sat at the chef's counter and had a front seat view of the kitchen at work - not to mention the beauty that is the wood burning oven. Highly recommend if you're in a small party. The high top kitchen bar only seats 5. We ordered the carrot tartare, the bone marrow, the cabbage carbonara, and the special lamb ragu lasagna. Who knew carrots could be so mind blowingly good?! innovative dish for the flavor profile. The bone marrow was very rich and had lots of marrow - no skimpy bones here! This was a collaboration Walrus Rodeo did with Apocalypse barbecue and I'm not sure if there's gonna be any in the future but I sure hope there are, this was amazing. As someone that was born and raised in Miami, I know a good croqueta and the duck croquetas were easily one the best appetizers I've ever had. The oysters were also great too. The bbq hamachi was a take on a lettuce wrap (I'm assuming) and not only was it fun to put together but really good too, the bbq was 10/10. The entree was made up of pork belly, ribs, and brisket. Everything on the platter was great, but if I had to pick one? I'd say the ribs were my favorite. The dessert was a maduro tart. When I read the name, it didn't really sound appetizing to me since I'm not a huge fan of my maduros BUT I was wrong. So so so wrong. I think about it like once a week and even went so far as to try and find recipes to try and recreate it because I wanted to have it again. Oh my god what to say... a life changing meal. We had high expectations going in and they did not disappoint. Walrus rodeo is in a small inconspicuous strip mall next to their sister restaurant, boia de. Its a small dining area with a bar and a chef's bar by the open kitchen/pizza oven. Feels very brooklyn/hipster-y and the crowd is young and fun. They don't serve liquor but they have a selection of "cocktails" made with apertifs and a large wine/beer selection. Let's get to the good stuff: the food. We started with the carrot tartare and the oysters. Both were incredible and full of flavor. We also had the bone marrow with sourdough which was melt in your mouth goodness. The char on the sourdough was a bit intense though. Now to the mains, the green lasagna was one of the best dishes I ever had. So much texture, perfectly cooked lamb, and it takes on almost an indian flavor. We also had the potato gnocchi topped with artichokes, wow. Everything was perfectly portioned. We finished with the rodeo pizza which is a smart move. I have to say that the coursing was perfect. Paid a visit to Walrus Rodeo after hearing so many rave reviews. I made a reservation and upon arrival, we were quickly seated. Things we ordered: Carrot Tartare, Charred Bone Marrow, Rodeo Za, Mustard Green Lasagna, Bust A Rhymes and a cappuccino. The main highlights that outshined the rest was the Carrot Tartare and the Mustard Green Lasagna. I could of happily ordered another lasagna to share. Service was friendly and extremely attentive. We had such a good meal here. We arrived a bit early for our reservation and they weren't able to accommodate as they were full (including the bar, which it sounds like might be by reservation also), so we sat outside at some tables with a glass of wine. The wine list is pretty streamlined, but we were able to find one that suited each of us (and they were kind enough to offer a taste prior to committing to one we were unsure of). I would say the outdoor seating could be a bit more comfortable - it worked for waiting for a seat, but I couldn't see anyone relaxing out there for any longer than that. Given our time with the menu prior to sitting, we knew what we wanted (incorporating a suggestion or two from our server). The baked oysters were really delicious and the bone marrow pane was out of this world - they do NOT skimp on the butter and salt here, which we deeply appreciate. We had two pizzas as well - the leeks and geeks, which had a unique and fresh flavor profile and the margherita - the dough for both is absolutely fantastic. I took one star off as we did not have the most welcoming arrival experience and the ability to provide menu guidance was a bit lacking, but those are minimal complaints given the overall experience - definitely a hopping atmosphere and really fantastic (and rich!) food. Now one thing I'd like to add that is very serious, but may or my not have anything to do with this restaurant. My partner and I only went two places the evening of our most recent visit and he was roofied by an employee at one of them (there was no one else even close to us at either venue and our drinks were never out of our sights). Thankfully he is okay, but it was a scary ordeal. I leave this here as we don't know which place it happened at and I don't want the wrong spot to get any undue flak for it, but if someone else has this experience (or if the employees at either place have noticed something off), a pattern has the opportunity to emerge - fingers crossed though that no one else has to go through this. read more

After hearing great things about this new spot in miami, I had to try it. We had a 7:30 res and grabbed a glass of wine at the bar before we were seated. The bartender was super friendly and let us sample several different reds until we found the right one for dinner. We specifically chose to sit at the chefs table/high top area so we could witness the magic first hand! The-menu was a little eclectic, but we found some items we both wanted to try. We started off with the turnip and radish salad, the bone marrow and the hibachi crudo. For the the main course, we selected the quail and truffle gnocchi. The salad was so yummy and Fresh and we both really enjoyed it, the crudo was ok, but had too many onions and was more like a ceviche. The bone marrow was rich, earthy and creamy. Each dish incorporated sumac into the flavor profile, which i enjoyed. On to the mains: the quail was very delicate, nicely done and tender, the gnocchi really didn't do much for either of us. It was extremely mushy and needed more seasoning. Lastly, the s'mores dessert was ok, but nothing phenomenal. TLDR: fun new American restaurant! I would rate this spot 4.5 with some points off for value. Meaning, I'll be back for an occasion but I won't be running. Everything here has been touched by fire in some way. I loved this spot because the service was so friendly, the dishes were fun and interesting, and just overall good vibes. I'm honestly a sucker for fun new American food, and so I'm glad this spot entered the food scene. Though, I wouldn't recommend this spot to anyone looking for traditional flavors. FOOD * bone marrow: one of their NYE specialities. I'm a complete sucker for bone marrow and the sauce on top was ‍ * chicorie: This was suggested by the waiter to cut through the heaviness of the rest of the dishes. Would get it again (surprisingly since I don't usually order salads) if I wanted some greens. However, I could also do without it. * Cabbage carbonara: did NOT expect it to be cabbage based instead of pasta haha. But it was still good! Creamy cabbage.. so it's on the heavier side but I loved the flavors. * Corn on the za: pizza with corn (always a win) and lime pieces which I thought completed it so well since I get tired of heavy dishes pretty quickly usually AMBIANCE there was a good mix of casual to dressy so come as you please! I've been coming here since they first opened, and every visit is an experience! From the incredible wine selection to the staff's deep knowledge of the menu and the vibrant atmosphere--everything is consistently outstanding. If you haven't been to Walrus Rodeo yet, do yourself a favor and go! Their bone marrow is absolutely the best! read more

We enjoyed this restaurant. Food was excellent and service friendly. A few let downs such as there is not a full bar. Although that won't keep us from going back for the amazing lasagna. It's not your typical lasagna and looks much different then we expected but boy were we surprised how much we loved it. Other not so favorite things about this restaurant.... It gets very loud. It stated out fine but as more guests arrived we had a hard time conversing. Also surprised there is no coffee or tea service. We generally end our meals with coffee. I would still suggest this to others to try out but give them the heads up on where they might be let down. read more

Really really enjoyed the vibe here and how cute is the bathroom! We sat at the bar and had everything explained really well. The charbroiled oysters are definitely why I'm coming back. They're so tasty and perfectly portioned. Everything is sort of family style so coming in a group of 3 is best bang for your buck. The burrata and fennel was creamy and sweet with a bitterness that the tepanade really complimented to the fluffy bread. read more

Had to come since we were so many good reviews so here's my take. The ambiance is so cute and I liked the layout of the restaurant. Didn't come in with a reservation which wasn't a problem (yay). Ok so first for drinks, I had the Pom-rita which was pretty good and my sister had their take of an aperol spritz. It was fine but we switched drinks afterward. The service was really good and attentive. Everyone was nice. For the food, we shared 4 items. First was the carrot tartare which was good, definitely different, and pretty tasty. But if I'm being honest, while I liked it I wouldn't order again. Good to try once. The burrata was good, I loved the bread it came with. The cabbage carbonara was actually pretty good and I'm not sure what I was expecting but the dish was better. Very different and yummy but not something I'd trek back here for. Last thing we had was a pizza. It was good and cooked well. I enjoyed it :) and also really liked the spice to it. All around it was a good experience but I'm not rushing to go back. It's pretty expensive for what it was as well. Also for full transparency, as the waiter said, there is a "health service" charge which is an additional fee in the bill that goes towards their health insurance. I've never seen that and while I understand it, i still think it is weird to include that in the customer's bill. read more

Walrus Rodeo wood fired restaurant is located in a Little Haiti strip mall. The Chef is Jeff Maxwell. It opened in December 2022 so has been opened over a year now. Reservations are a must as it has become very popular very quickly in the Miami restaurant scene, it seems. We made our reservation through Resy on the particular Monday Night we dined here. I am always happy these days when a good restaurant is open on a Monday. As I was saying, we went for Dinner and my understanding is this gem of a culinary delight opens at 5:30 p.m. Maxwell is a "partner" in this business arrangement, according to the Miami New Times, and two other partners own a Michelin-starred (1 Michelin Star) Italian (untraditional) restaurant just steps away from Walrus Rodeo on the other side of the laundrymat known as Boia De (has 1 Michelin Star). The original two partners have operated Boia De since 2019 which has best been described as "surprising." Back to WALRUS RODEO. There is a long, gorgeous bar at entrance just past the Host Stand. The dining room itself is understated and cozy with a counter seating area at the far side of the dining room for those interested in seeing some cooking action in what smelled like an open kitchen. While I have never tried out the counter seating my companion had (in past) enjoyed it but did say he returned to a hotel after Dinner smelling of " kitchen." Ha ha. Just something to keep in mind. The host escorted us to the vicinity of our table and when we got close to it he pointed out which table was ours. As such, we were not "tucked in." A trendy South Beach vibe took over. Being here felt like pure Heaven and pure joy. The wait staff was very friendly. I recall being asked whether we'd be drinking bottled water or tap water. We decided on two appetizers and two entrees. Staff brought out each dish one at a time. That is, despite us being a party of two, only one dish was on the table at any given time. First up, was its well thought of Carrot Carpaccio. This is a take on raw ground meat Carpaccio often served w/ an egg atop. Tableside, the staff combined the carrot mixture w/ what, I believe, something which was akin to a faux egg. However this was dreamed up by such a creative Chef I sure enjoyed mine and had to stop myself from eating too much as we had more food coming. There was a second Appetizer Matsutake Mushroom Farrotto w/ smoked SCHMALTZ- again alone in the Central part of the table, with individual small plates for each of us to partake. Matsutakes (the mushrooms)are harvested just once a year! Pure bliss and healthful! We chose excellent wines by the Glass to compliment our food. My wine was a Pinot Grigio (or similar white wine), as I recall. The stemware, utensils, and plates were all so gorgeous and felt so rich. Our first entree type dish which came out was a layered Lamb dish that I think was called Lamb Lasagna. So flavorful and such a clever dish. If I could change anything about said Lamb dish it would be taller, and therefore, more of it to savor. As if that was not enough, our next entree dish sent out from the kitchen were SHORT RIBS. It is true that service is at such a high level here one does not have to ask for much else to be done. We did not partake in dessert on this visit only because I said we should probably eat ice cream or something at home later. I hear very very outstanding things about the Walrus Rodeo's desserts and will definitely have desserts next time we come. I would have preferred being formally "tucked in" upon reaching our table but otherwise simply a perfect meal. A place that truly met our standards. Wonderful! Truly wonderful! 4 Stars. read more

Nice place. Staff very nice. Food good. I really liked the fish cheeks. Oven fired bread and pizza really good. Octopus good. Beef Carpacio very good. Did not like the breadcrumbs (or whatever they were) on the pizza, but scraped it off and really liked the anchovie pizza. Had a chill good time and food was good. read more
