I have two table…read morelamps with dimmable sockets that were built for incandescent lightbulbs; but since you can't buy those anymore, I wanted to see if it was possible to convert them for dimmable LED bulbs by simply replacing the sockets. No place I called could give me a straight answer, but one of them recommended I reach out to Modern Lighting. They actually trialled my question on a lamp they had in house, so that I didn't have to drive to them until there was reasonable certainty they could do what I needed. They quoted me a price, and I went in the next day. Not only did they get the job done, it ended up costing less than their estimate. Very grateful to Jeff and the rest of the team that, in this day where there are few specialty experts anymore, they still exist and were super nice to boot!

During the visit Robert was able to see what was described to him over the phone, checked my fuse box, confirmed that the work is possible and provided a quote that is satisfactory. About an hour later the work is completed and he showed me what was done and provided me information such as what switch he connected to. No drywall repair or paint was needed.
