changed out my muffler and tailpipe, put it on the lift to check out first. found the gasket on the cat leaking which I missed. system tight, secure and quiet. left tailpipe a bit long because old pipe was short and discolored paint, will trim to suit me. will use them again. they are a busy shop because of quality of work. read more

Torch your car first. I spent 10+ hours, had to rent a car twice, and finally take my car to another shop to get the catalytic converters put on correctly. Add to this the owner decided that I needed to have my break system flushed at $37.00 for a bottle break fluid. When I complained they gave me a refund on the break fluid flush (only because he got caught trying to run a scam) and when took the bill from the other shop in for them to make it right he refused saying I should have brought it back to him! He can't get it done twice I'm going to bring it back a third time? The entire ordeal cost me over $5000.00. Never again! Ask around.... read more

Awesome service in every way. Damian really treated us well. We brought our 2015 Toyota Rav-4 in for brakes and an oil change at 9:30 - Damian called by 11:00 with a very reasonable quote, and the work was done by 3:30. This despite the place being packed and every service bay in use. At no point did I feel that they were trying to upsell us, fix things that weren't in need of repair, or anything like that. It was just good old fashioned reasonably-priced car repair done fast and efficiently. There were a number of guys in the lobby when I arrived to pay, and all were saying the same things - how good the service was as well as the price. We thought we would try Walts again and I was incredibly disappointed and encourage no one to go there unless you want to pay 100% mark up for parts and contract COVID. No mask wearing except for guy who put one after throwing out cigarette and could not figure out that it needs to cover your nose. No sanitized pens, wipes available. I went into Walt without an appointment, and they took the time to lift my car to get a better look of what the problem was, and replaced a missing bolt.. without charge. What the hell kind of company tells you your car will be done at 5:30pm after you bring it in at 3:30pm, and then don't tell you they close at 5:30??!?!? And they're keeping my car locked up with no after hours number to call. They have my only car keys to my other car, and my house keys. WHAT A COMPLETE JOKE!! AVOID THESE GUYS LIKE THE PLAGUE! UPDATE 5/1/13 I took a taxi to work today because of these idiots. I talked to a dude on the phone just now at Walt's and he lied to me straight up twice. He claims they called at "exactly 5:15", but my phone has no missed calls, and I was across the street at Jack in the Box... And then I told him the old dude (Mark) at the counter said 5:30 and then he lied again saying he was standing right there and the old guy said 5:15...a complete lie. There was only the old guy and a some lady at the counter. NEVER TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO WALTS. I can't wait to see how much of a joke the bill is... FINAL UPDATE: So they charged like 3x more than the part costs, and then charged way more in labor than I've seen even at your cruddy chain places. I argued with the dude about the situation and the inconvenience for a good 5-10 minutes and not once did I hear any sort of apology. The only excuse I got was that the clock on his computer was an hour off so he accidentally told me the wrong time to come back. He clearly wasn't going to offer a discount or refund, but seemed more than inclined to point out that they replaced a brake light that was out "free of charge!!!" ...except that I had inspected all the lights just before I headed over there oddly enough, and they all worked (I had just bought the vehicle). I've read other reviews where people have said that Walt's has done some sort of FREE complimentary WORK ON SOME MINOR THING and bragged about it. I'm inclined to think this is a ploy to make you feel like you got a good deal, and is employed on things that are easily replaceable and often ignored, so you just accept it and go "wow, these guys are so nice!". That's just speculation though. Anyways, I was too hungry to keep arguing, so I paid and left. Turns out the part they put in was bunk and possibly a remanufactured part (I paid for a new part). I took my vehicle back there and told them it was junk and dude just covered butt and claimed it was probably something else that was broken (except I had already repaired or replaced everything else prior). He just dodged like the last confrontation and didn't apologize, and told me "you can't just come in here at 3:30 and tell us a part doesn't work and expect us to fix it. You need an appointment". He was real nice in the way he said it, but that's not how you respond to something like that IMO. Long story short: I ended up just doing the repairs myself at home, because I wasn't going to drop my car off the an entire day so they could figure out what I already knew. The whole point of paying these jokers to do it was because I just didn't want to burn my little free time and effort to do it. As I sat and waited for my truck to get serviced, I witnessed several walk in customers, none of whom were turned away, and I listened to several phone calls with customers, all of which were handled courteously and professionally, even when further services were declined. Although I have spent a considerable amount of money here with both my rigs over the years, they have always been honest, backing up their work, in addition to being the most cost efficient estimate. I have taken my car to two other car places in the last 5 years due to the check engine light coming on. Both places charged me money but could not give me the code reason and any recommendation on what to do. I went to Walt's here in Port Orchard today and they were able to tell me what it was. The manager was very honest with me and said it would not be worth it and that I would be able to continue driving the car as is. I have to say that I wish I would have known about Walt's sooner and will now only go to them in the future. This is a hard review to write. I initially liked this garage. They fixed my air conditioning system and separately installed new coil packs on my Ford V8. Unfortunately, I caught them substituting the cheapest coil packs available ($240 for 8) instead of the OEM parts I agreed to. I spent some time the next day calling auto parts stores locally, and found out that not only did they switch parts, but they had quoted me over $100 apiece for OEM parts which were easily available for $75 apiece at NAPA. The difference in price slapped me hard, and when I confronted Damian about the problem, he lied and told me it was the tech's fault for putting in the wrong parts. He proceeded to pull a bag of OEM Ford parts out from under the front counter. This tells me that they had premeditated the fraud, with a backup plan in case they were caught. Not the kind of people I want to do business with! I called the owner with facts about my air conditioner parts as well, and he agreed to an$800 adjustment (reimbursement) on the two repairs. But I had them cold with facts. This is not the way to do business in a small, mostly blue-collar town where people work hard for their money. Caveat emptor, Walt's customers. Update: I took away one star because Damian responded to my review and lied again. When we talked in person, the discussion was not productive and we did not come to a good solution. As soon as he understood that he couldn't talk his way out of the problem, he started dodging me at the office and I was told I would have to call the owner, which I did as described above. This was no miscommunication, it was fraud. These guys will fix your vehicle, but it will cost as much or more as a dealership. I now go to West Hills Ford Mazda. They are fantastic, with great upfront pricing and free multipoint inspection. They know how to respect their customers, and how to tell the truth. read more

They work on modern BMWs, such as F30s. Had my rear brake pads changed and they knew to change the wear sensor as well. You'll need to bring the part in for quicker service. They can order the part as well. Excellent service from a local shop. Saved several hundred compared to the dealer for the same work. read more
