Over a year ago I went to some place to get my car fixed they charged me thousands of dollars in…read morerepairs on other things and never fixed my issue. I tried again still could not find the problem. I stumbled upon community I always thought they were just a small shop. They gave me a quote what they thought was the issue. They said it would take about an hour. The car took over 4 hours more complicated than they thought. I was fully expecting every minute that they were going to come and tell me that it was going to cost more or that they found a new issue where they had to repair something else. What ended up happening is they finished the repair while I am nervous about what add-ons they're going to tell me they did. Instead I get a quote for exactly what was promised. When I was surprised he said it's what we quoted you and we stick to our quotes. I can't believe a place like this would be that honest I have never had good luck with car places until now. Being a woman who knows nothing about cars you get taken advantage of and here they were having my back. Casey also is absolutely incredible. She couldn't have been more helpful or nicer. I originally came in because my brakes We're squeaking Period they told me it was just break dust and that it was okay. that I did not need to replace them yet. After that great service I then asked them about the other issue because I trusted them. Highly recommend don't think twice just go to them. They will have your back also.

We had our winter tires and wheels on and,of course, our spare tire was the other sized wheel. He didn't just change the tire, but he repaired it,and we were able to get back on the road to Montana. We made it all the way home to our snowy road with zero issues. Thank you so much! We appreciate your great service.

I had a very disappointing experience with this shop and would strongly caution others before…read moretrusting them with your vehicle. During an oil change at their Port Orchard location, my engine oil was overfilled by nearly three quarts, which I later had verified and documented. This isn't a small mistake--it can cause serious engine damage if not corrected. On top of that, the drain plug was over-torqued, creating additional issues I had to deal with on my own. I initially went in to have it looked at in Seattle where I work and the car died in the middle of the road this shop I found out after looking for an invoice for 15 minutes was not connected to the Port Orchard store, so I got on the phone with the Port orchard store manager to assist. playing the middleman relaying messages rather than him calling and dealing with it directly. conclusion from Seattle store was I needed a new alternator--an expensive repair quoted around $1,700. After getting a second opinion from another qualified mechanic, I learned that diagnosis was incorrect. It got worse from there. During an oil change at their Port Orchard location, my engine oil was overfilled by nearly three quarts, which I later had verified and documented. This isn't a small mistake--it can cause serious engine damage if not corrected. On top of that, the drain plug was over-torqued by 3x the amount it should have been, creating additional issues I had to deal with on my own. I was also frustrated by how I was treated. My concerns were dismissed, and I was spoken to in a way that felt condescending and unprofessional. I gave the business an opportunity to address this directly and even asked to be contacted by the owner, but I never received a response. Because of the incorrect diagnosis, poor workmanship, and lack of accountability, I would not recommend anyone going there to conduct business as well as ensure you warn your friends and family.

While the exterior of the business is in desperate need of some attention/care, we found the staff…read moreto be quite engaging and knowledgable. The oil change we received on our car - and the accompanying inspection report - seemed thorough, and while some of the recommended repairs were perhaps overpriced, the staff were generous in their offerings of alternatives. We will certainly consider Meineke for our future routine maintenance needs (if not all of our repair needs).

Wouldn't give me back my car long enough to get the unnecessary new parts removed. Three illegal things in the state of WA - doing unnecessary work, lying to the customer about the problem and needed work, and increasing the estimate by over 10% (more like 30%) without confirming with the customer. Ended up having to deal with their corporate office who eventually sorted it out for us, but if we hadn't been persistent enough to fight them on it, they'd have just taken 130% of the estimate while having done absolutely nothing to address the problem. We agreed to pay them for their unnecessary labour, so we're out $400 plus the cost of the tows there and back and we're right back at square one. These guys are predators.

My car ended up stopping in the middle of the highway (with my kids in the backseat) Turns out both locations were just treating my engine with new coils and spark plugs when really the third cylinder was going out (as posted in the photo). I would never recommend either locations ... no honest work is done here (except for the mechanic who reported what was actually happening).

Brent seemed great... but what a joke.... Guess he is all talk. Even after kindly attempting to discuss our findings after the fact, I did not receive any response. The dealership kindly transported the truck to the shop. The following day, we received the inspection report. The only issues noted were worn shocks, a slightly hanging front brake caliper, and a recommendation to change the differential fluid. We specifically called to discuss the inspection and asked whether there were any other concerns. We were told it was a nice truck and that nothing significant was found. We even asked about engine issues and were told that scanning for codes and testing the coolant showed no concerns. Fortunately, we decided to fly out and inspect the truck ourselves before purchasing it. Within minutes of looking over the vehicle, we found multiple issues that were not mentioned anywhere in the inspection report - none of these items were observed in the PPI. * Recently replaced oil pan with obvious sealant visible * Active engine oil leak at the bellhousing area. * Recently replaced brake master cylinder and front calipers, suggesting an unresolved brake issue. * Large rodent nests and debris in both wheel well areas under the hood. * Extremely stiff steering that felt abnormal for a truck with only 69,000 miles. * Spongy brake pedal that traveled halfway to the floor before engaging. * Signs of additional repairs and modifications that were never documented. The oil leak alone was visible without putting the truck on a lift and should have been impossible to miss during a thorough inspection. I understand that no inspection is perfect and that mechanics can't predict every future problem. However, major visible issues such as an active oil leak, rodent nesting, brake concerns, and steering problems should have been identified and documented. These are exactly the types of issues buyers pay for a pre-purchase inspection to uncover. Had we trusted the report and purchased the truck sight unseen, we could have spent thousands of dollars transporting a vehicle that clearly had significant unresolved issues. The purpose of a PPI is to provide an independent assessment so buyers can make informed decisions. Based on our experience, this inspection fell far short of that standard. I cannot recommend this shop for ANY pre-purchase inspections. What a waste of money.
