Horrible Customer Service and Lack of Accountability I am writing this review to document my experience with Walt's TV and how they handled a cancellation request. On August 13, I placed an order for headphones through Best Buy Marketplace. Shortly afterward, I realized that the shipping address on the order was incorrect. I immediately contacted Best Buy through its messaging system and also called Walt's TV directly. During my first call, I explained the situation and was told not to worry and that the order would be canceled. Because the order had just been placed, the representative could not yet see it in their system. A few hours later, I called Walt's TV again to make certain the cancellation was being handled. The representative confirmed that they had now received the order and specifically told me that it had not left their warehouse. He explained that the previous representative had not completed the cancellation and assured me that he was submitting it. Despite this, Walt's TV shipped the headphones. After receiving notification that the package had been delivered to the incorrect address in Missouri--I live in Illinois--I contacted Walt's TV again. I spoke with the same representative who had previously told me he was processing the cancellation. He acknowledged our prior conversation, apologized profusely, and initially told me that the package was not supposed to have left their warehouse and that the error was on their end. However, after speaking with management, his position changed completely. I was told that my options were to physically go to the address where the package had been delivered and attempt to retrieve the headphones myself or contact Best Buy for a refund. I was then told that Walt's TV had "done their job" because they received the order and shipped it. That response was extremely disappointing. Walt's TV's own written correspondence also acknowledged that they took action regarding the incorrect address and later confirmed that return-to-sender/intercept requests were submitted on August 13 and August 14. I fully acknowledge that the incorrect address was originally entered on my order. I have never disputed that. The issue is what happened after I immediately identified the mistake and contacted the seller before fulfillment. Ultimately, Best Buy reviewed the order history and correspondence in detail. Their representative confirmed that I placed the order at 11:52:26 AM and notified Walt's TV at 12:29 PM. Most importantly, Best Buy confirmed that when I contacted Walt's TV, the order had not shipped and Walt's TV had not even created the shipping label yet. Best Buy ultimately issued me a full refund of $466.49. I appreciate Best Buy taking the time to thoroughly investigate the timeline and resolve the matter. Unfortunately, my experience with Walt's TV was very different. Mistakes happen. What bothered me most was not simply that the order was shipped. It was that I contacted Walt's TV promptly, was repeatedly assured that the order would be canceled, was initially told after the fact that the shipment should never have left their warehouse, and then had management change the position and claim they had done their job. Best Buy's own review ultimately confirmed there was ample opportunity to prevent this shipment--the shipping label had not even been created when I first contacted Walt's TV. Based on how Walt's TV handled this situation and their response after the mistake occurred, I would not purchase from this company again. read more

Never buy from Walt's. You'll regret it! There's a reason they have an F rating with the BBB. They sell broken equipment as new. I bought a $1,000 Denon receiver that never worked. I contacted Denon within 4 days to report issues. They were unable to fix the issues within the 30 days, not knowing the machine was broken. It had to be sent to CA to be repaired and Walt's wont make good on the damaged equipment they sold. They rip you off with damaged inventory they sell as new. They are crooks! read more

***WARNING*** Do NOT purchase from Walts TV! I returned a faulty soundbar unit after talking with a Samsung service tech. He suggested I return the unit because it could not be repaired. Upon return, in original packaging, I was charged a restocking fee. Why would a company restock a faulty unit? Do they sell faulty returned units as new? I requested Walts to place a stop on it for a refund. They told me once the package was on its way back in transit the refund process would begin which made no sense because I never received it! Do NOT buy a TV from Amazon.com through Walts TV! I spent almost $2,000 on a Samsung QLED 85" TV. The TV picture was corrupted. Walts TV would not take it back. Amazon.com would not take the TV back. Samsung claimed it was an Amazon.com and Walts TV issue. Hence, I am out $2,000. I cannot believe I am saying this, but Best Buy has been awesome to work with. Beware of this store! I bought two items through Amazon from Walts TV. The 1st was a #1600.00 flat screen and the 2nd was a subwoofer. When I got the subwoofer, my wife did not like so I boxed it up exactly the way that it came to me the next day and shipped it back. Walts charged me a $37.50 restocking fee which was not disclosed when I made the purchase. Through Amazon I tried twice to ask them to refund the re-stocking fee and twice they said too bad. At first I thought it might have been because of the carrier but the first was delivered via UPS and the replacement was delivered via FedEx. Did not realize at the time that I was having a TV shipped cross country to save myself a couple of hundred bucks, and while sold through Amazon, a 3rd party shipper would be used. There was no mention of this anywhere but I noticed that the tracking never moved after "shipped" and this was over a week later. When inquiring with Walts they gave me the shipper name and phone number and told me I had to schedule a delivery and it was sitting here in my city waiting for ME. Seems a bit amateurish not knowing any of this upfront. Other than that, TV showed up on time for the scheduled delivery and in good condition considering the cross country jaunt. This review doesn't come lightly I am very critical of companies that do not give you the service we expect. This was not the case with my experience, I was super happy with our LG 2020 OLED purchase and delivery experience, LG had an authorized dealer link. Miles popped up on live chat at Walts, he answered all my questions about the tv and sounds bars, (thanks for the Sonos suggestion) I mentioned somewhere else had it for less he immediately posted a link coupon to match. That was enough for me, I purchased. Their follow up emails were spot on. Delivery company they used were very professional, called with day and time. Drop off was perfect. I highly recommend Miles and his team. I had a bad experience with them with a TV I bought from their Amazon store. My company had by mistake bought two 43" Samsung TVs when we only needed one for our trade show. So we returned one. Fast forward one month. They told Amazon that they had issued the refund, but they hadn't. So I contacted my Capital One card who refunded the money. Well, Walts TV disputed the refund saying they had never received the TV back. (???) So I had to dig up the UPS tracking, proof of delivery, etc. So then Walts responded that, oh, yes, they guess they received it but it was damaged and they wanted $70 deducted from the refund.(???) I asked Capital One if they had provided proof of that claim. They said that Walts sent a photo, but it was out of focus and hard to make out. Isn't a changing story pretty strong evidence that someone is lying? She didn't know what to say. But I decided to take my partial refund and move on. read more
