Horrible Customer Service and Lack of Accountability…read more I am writing this review to document my experience with Walt's TV and how they handled a cancellation request. On August 13, I placed an order for headphones through Best Buy Marketplace. Shortly afterward, I realized that the shipping address on the order was incorrect. I immediately contacted Best Buy through its messaging system and also called Walt's TV directly. During my first call, I explained the situation and was told not to worry and that the order would be canceled. Because the order had just been placed, the representative could not yet see it in their system. A few hours later, I called Walt's TV again to make certain the cancellation was being handled. The representative confirmed that they had now received the order and specifically told me that it had not left their warehouse. He explained that the previous representative had not completed the cancellation and assured me that he was submitting it. Despite this, Walt's TV shipped the headphones. After receiving notification that the package had been delivered to the incorrect address in Missouri--I live in Illinois--I contacted Walt's TV again. I spoke with the same representative who had previously told me he was processing the cancellation. He acknowledged our prior conversation, apologized profusely, and initially told me that the package was not supposed to have left their warehouse and that the error was on their end. However, after speaking with management, his position changed completely. I was told that my options were to physically go to the address where the package had been delivered and attempt to retrieve the headphones myself or contact Best Buy for a refund. I was then told that Walt's TV had "done their job" because they received the order and shipped it. That response was extremely disappointing. Walt's TV's own written correspondence also acknowledged that they took action regarding the incorrect address and later confirmed that return-to-sender/intercept requests were submitted on August 13 and August 14. I fully acknowledge that the incorrect address was originally entered on my order. I have never disputed that. The issue is what happened after I immediately identified the mistake and contacted the seller before fulfillment. Ultimately, Best Buy reviewed the order history and correspondence in detail. Their representative confirmed that I placed the order at 11:52:26 AM and notified Walt's TV at 12:29 PM. Most importantly, Best Buy confirmed that when I contacted Walt's TV, the order had not shipped and Walt's TV had not even created the shipping label yet. Best Buy ultimately issued me a full refund of $466.49. I appreciate Best Buy taking the time to thoroughly investigate the timeline and resolve the matter. Unfortunately, my experience with Walt's TV was very different. Mistakes happen. What bothered me most was not simply that the order was shipped. It was that I contacted Walt's TV promptly, was repeatedly assured that the order would be canceled, was initially told after the fact that the shipment should never have left their warehouse, and then had management change the position and claim they had done their job. Best Buy's own review ultimately confirmed there was ample opportunity to prevent this shipment--the shipping label had not even been created when I first contacted Walt's TV. Based on how Walt's TV handled this situation and their response after the mistake occurred, I would not purchase from this company again.

My infotainment system broke down and I was looking for a replacement and I consulted two different…read morebusinesses. Ryan was quite patient with me as he allowed me to test out the 3 different infotainment systems. After trying them all out, I choose one and was quoted at $923.74 and had to wait a week to get it installed since this is a popular place. The other place I consulted didn't even let me choose what infotainment system I wanted and quoted me at $100 higher than this place. They were able to install it in about 2 hours. The only real issue I've seen with it is that it has more glares than the original system that was in there.

The technician created a basic workaround to get my DS18 BTC-Five Bluetooth receiver working via…read moreaux, but the setup was incomplete and poorly wired. After the install: I lost power to my 12V lighter socket, so I couldn't charge my phone. He mostly likely tapped into the same circuit as the lighter socket, causing power loss (Yeah. He didn't warn me about that before the install!) The audio was also making intermittent Bluetooth pairing failures. I would be driving and then music would stop and start again. Bluetooth phone calls stopped working--only music streamed. The install skipped key components I provided, including the fuse tap, LOC, and amp integration What I learned--and what others should know: The 3.5mm aux jack on the BTC-Five is audio-only and doesn't support calls To restore full functionality, the fuse tap must be moved to a different ACC slot so the lighter circuit isn't interrupted. For Bluetooth calls, you need to use the BTC-Five's RCA outputs and route them through a head unit or amp that supports hands-free calling. If I had known all this upfront, I probably would've skipped the install entirely and just kept using my regular USB-C to 3.5mm Audio Aux Cable Adapter. It was simpler, reliable, and didn't disable anything in my car. No wonder the guy had a weird vibe! I would have given them 5 stars if they had wired correctly, but the job was rushed and sloppy. He didn't create a solution. He created a problem! Now I'm going to have to get my brother to help me fix this. He said the tech most likely installed the tap with only one fuse (for the BTC-Five). Or inserted it backwards, cutting off power to the original circuit. Or used a single-slot tap, which reroutes power entirely to the new device. This experience taught me how to reclaim my install and turn shortcuts into teachable upgrades. If you're integrating amps or planning full audio control, skip the aux hack and wire it properly. I wasn't impressed with this install. What a total waste of money!!!!!!

For this location of Bang & Olufsen (of which they do not have that many in-person stores...I've previously purchased online only), it's nestled between the Scottsdale Airport and Scottsdale Quarter, in a VERY unassuming business park building. In fact, when I found it (very SMALL sign on Butherus to lead the way to the parking lot), I actually thought I had gotten the address wrong, as it looked much more like a B&O location that might do professional home audio installations. Alas, I was in the correct place - they have a small side "PLAY" room that allows you to try out all the gear and see/touch them in person and check out the sound quality and easily compare. I had called the day prior inquiring about a limited time floor sample sale that I had seen on the B&O website, and I was told Kaitlyn was the expert on headphones and would be there to help me. Indeed, she IS a wonderful sales person - incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and very, very patient for my approximately 1000 questions. I ended up buying 2 items (with plans to buy another once some new, more bold colors come out for the EQ in-ear headphones). I'm DEFINITELY not in the market for the home audio items, which can get extremely pricey. Like... EXTREMELY pricey!!! But, it was actually a lot of fun to try out the fancy-pants home audio setups, in a sort of "maybe my life will turn out such that I can afford a home full of B&O gear"!
