Waltz has such a wholesome atmosphere to it. The owners Ian and Sam are so welcoming and very hands on owners. The live music was great and the Sue's taco truck was out front serving amazing tacos. Live music, cold beer, fresh tacos. Was an absolutely amazing night

Who would have guessed this was so hip. A warehouse on the backside of nowhere, where they roll open the garage door and serve beer... lots of beer. they even have IPA. they have 5 ciders for the ladies, and old school soda's that scream quality. it got busy after 7pm, as several folks came walking in from the area. a real little gem. You can bring in your own food to have with your beverage. they do not serve food. And by the way, happy birthday to the bar tender!

Typical poured pint on the night I visited.

If I exclusively lived in Forest Grove, this place would be a five star brewery. Unfortunately, I no longer live in this quiet hamlet a stone's throw from the brewery juggernaut of Portland, OR. I found the configuration of this place very un-feng shui. It's a big L shaped affair with seating for many in the lower part of the L, and chairs facing a wall in the long part of the L. Perhaps visiting in the nicer weather would help me to appreciate the seating arrangement better, when I can utilize the outdoor seating area. But let's talk about the beer. I tried their Kolsch, which was very good. I inquired about their bitter, which the bartender said was a bit of a misnomer. He graciously let me try a sample, and it definitely didn't taste like a bitter. Their Conifer IPA was terrible. It tasted like they hadn't cleaned their lines in too long. It might have been an off batch, but it definitely didn't have a piney aroma, and I had a hard time finishing it. Their Oatmeal Stout was too sweet. Every pint the bartender poured looked like the picture I included. There wasn't even a head to evaporate, he just poured a short pint. I wanted to love it here, but I had a bad experience.

Trivia night and game on for Jenga!

Laid back fun with good beer. My lower rating was no food or pretzels darn although, bring your own food is a plus. Small comfy spot in Forest Grove. Wine choices sound good. Outside seating I and furry friends ate here

Wonderful small local place. Many beers on tap. But really good when there is a performer. Note: there is no food here but Pizza Schmizza is a useul BYOF option.

Oh my gosh - yesssss. You miggghhhttt have to be a Pacific Northwesterner to understand how f$&@ing epic this place is. But I urge all others to jump on board and see it for what it is - this place is perfect for beers, warmth, friends and conversation. What else could you possibly need? Food? They let you BYOF (bring your own food). You mean I can take my bag of Doritos and eat them while I drink beer? F$&@ing Genius.

    Mmmm. Wine.

oh ... as a wine or vodka lover in a beer drinking state... it is hard to find places you are totally comfortable but Waltz is perfect. The place is warm and the staff is outgoing and fun. A ton of beer to choose from (20 or so), cider options as well as a red and white wine. I stick with the white wine and taste the occasional beer or cider if someone recommends it. Giant Jenga ....interesting record selection for sale... some days have live music (a bit too loud if you are looking for an intimate evening) and others are just chill conversation nights. You can bring your own food, which is helpful since a bottle of wine begs for some snacks to go with it ^_^ All in all, if I am in Forest Grove, I am likely at Waltz.
