Absolutely perfect. If you're tired of high brunch prices or poor quality diner food, come to Wanda. I love the quirky decor, friendly service, and truly excellent food.

Outstanding (and located in Haddonfield's 'Shops at 118') - from the first bite, the promise of our appetizer carried straight through to the last bite of our dessert. A 5-star virtuoso of a dinner. We each ordered the foie gras for an appetizer and then shared the escargot appetizer. I ordered the Frenched Chicken breast and my spouse had the Rohan duck breast. We both finished with coffee and the Gratin d'fuits for dessert. Service was great, shout out to Kaili (kay-lee) who was appropriately attentive, informative, pleasant and made the night a smooth and well-orchestrated one for us. The portions were GENEROUS, the sauces SUBLIME, the execution PERFECTION. Hudson Valley Foie Gras 5/5 : this is my foie gras of choice to make at home and Chef Lipot presented and exceptional version. Perfectly seared, on toasted brioche with pear. Poire William and the most silky-delicious glace de canard. Copper Pot Escargot 5/5 : the portion was incredible - 16 escargots so plenty to share, swimming in a copper pot full of the most amazing sauce - we could have drunk tankards of it - of chartreuse, hazelnuts, garlic and demi-glace. The BEST escargots we've had and the most plump and tender and well...vraiment superbe! Seared Rohan Duck Breast 5/5 : the duck was melt-in-the-mouth tender and sauced with the essence of oranges, lemon thyme, banyuls vinegar, blackberry, and glace de canard. Fantastic. Frenched Chicken Breast Denoix 5/5 : a side of caramelized parsnips & carrots, slathered with a beautiful violet mustard, over a silky pomme purée, in a pool of sauce diable. I never order chicken breast out but based on the appetizers and the description from Kaili, I ordered it and happily ate very last bit of it. Wonderful. Gratin d'Fruits 5/5 : - a delightful dessert of vanilla ice cream, macerated fruit, topped with a champagne sabayon that is slightly bruléed. A perfect end to a perfect meal and night out for our anniversary. Mme. Lipot stopped by the table, greeted us and made certain everything was going well with dinner. The portions are generous, the prices are VERY reasonable - this is definitely a place on our 'return often' list and it should be on yours too - delicious food, great ambiance and a wonderful option for brunch, lunch and dinner. Highly recommended. They also have a private party room and NOTE: the website is not online but WandaBYOB is on Facebook and Instagram as well as Open Table which displays the entire menu. https://www.facebook.com/wandabyobhaddonfield/ https://www.instagram.com/wandabyob/?hl=fr #wandabyob

We had an excellent brunch here. Really welcoming and cozy atmosphere. Excellent, unobtrusive service. Delicious food. We had the Cajun steak bowl and the omelette special. Loved the potatoes! The owner, I assume, checked in with each table which you hardly see anymore. They care. Will be back!

Wanda was a delicious hidden gem with a couple hiccups. Service was amazing and the wine was great (it was a BYOB tho so I take credit for that). I went to Wanda on a Saturday night with a close friend. We liked all of our food but only loved some of it. The ambiance is beautiful but the restaurant is kind of hidden in an interior mall. It's best to access from the parking lot behind the venue as parking on Kings Highway is never fun. The rest rooms are across the hall, outside of the restaurant. Appetizers: My friend had the foie gras, not necessarily my thing but she said it was great. It was flavorful, but I can never get past the mental of how it's made. My first time trying it and, like I said, very flavorful. I ordered the brussel sprouts. They were perfectly crispy. A delicious salty sweet. Dinner: My friend had the duck breast, and we both agreed that the flavor was good, but it was a little dry. It had a delicious sauce, just not enough of it. My dinner was the short ribs. I LOVE short ribs. These were okay. Flavor was on point but, again, a little dry. Amazing sauce but not enough. Dessert for me was the creme brulee. I think it's hard to mess up a creme brulee so it was on point. I'd absolutely go back but I want more sauce!

This is such a cute brunch spot! The food is amazing! We had the classic Belgian waffle, crème brûlée French toast and the bacon egg and cheese sandwich, everything was absolutely delicious! Our server was super cool and friendly! I really enjoyed talking with him and he pointed us in the right direction on food for sure! I can't wait to go back!

Love this place!!! Now let's back up. We arrive for brunch and there are 5 adults and a 15 month old. We are seated at a great table outside and it is immediately apparent that this is a friendly team. They were great with the kiddo and brought her a kids cup with milk and scrambled eggs which are her favorite. For the adults, we brought our own champagne and made mimosas with their fresh orange juice. On to the food because it is oh so good. The scramble (with andouille and manchego) and the chicken & waffles were the stars of this brunch. Both were an excellent combination of savory and sweet with that perfect amount of comfort (butter) built in. The other classic fare we tried (waffle, French toast and breakfast) was all very simple but well done. Finally, as we were wrapping up, Hilda stopped by our table and told us all about the chef (her husband) and waitress (her daughter) and how the whole place came to be. Wanda's is an amazing family owned restaurant that you will need to visit not only for the food, but to hear the story for yourself!

I've never been inside the building where Wanda is located but it's a great spot. Plus side, there's a parking lot in the back because we all know Haddon is terrible to try and find street parking. As soon as I saw the menu, I knew I wanted to celebrate my birthday here. Cute little restaurant, we got a table upstairs. Volume was easy for hearing and talking. Very attentive server, friendly and loved that she had the history on where the restaurant name came from (the Chef's grandma!) Anyway, the food, absolutely loved. As mentioned in other reviews, anything lavender, I'm getting. So the goat cheese croquettes were obviously on our list as well as the crispy brussels sprouts. The croquettes were just fantastic- super creamy goat cheese, the lavender honey, chopped walnuts, perfect. Brussels sprouts, thinly sliced, real crispy, perfectly seasoned and delicious. For main, I went with the duck breast. It was just amazing from the way it was cooked to the sauce, the sides.. My mom had the pork cheeks and raved about them. SIL had the Chilean sea bass, loved and her mom had a special of the night, scallops. Plates were cleaned. Dessert we shared the flourless chocolate cake, and again, it was delicious. Really want to come back soon to eat up the rest of the menu. BYOB or they do have a few bottle wine choices to pick from.

Amazing hidden gem. I will definitely be returning. It has been an exhausting month and this double date with close friends was super great in this small intimate environment. Crispy Brussels Sprouts (with bacon, roasted pepitas, sun dried cranberries, apple cider vinaigrette) were so delicious. The brussle sprouts were chopped so every bite was bursting with flavor, versus those sprouts served as whole or halves. I definitely prefer them chopped... which I am not even sure I've had until now. If did, it clear was a forgettable experience unlike here at Wanda BYOB. P.E.I. Mussels (lemongrass, coconut, pickled vegetables, kaffir, thai bird chili, grilled bread). This is the fluffiest grilled bread I have ever had. It's like they just painted on the grill marks. Most grilled bread can be so tough it feels like I'm going to cut the roof of my mouth. It was light and refreshing. I loved the pickled vegetables (thin strips onions, zucchini). It was just the right amount of vegetables to complement the dish. Goat Cheese Croquettes (panko crust, lavender honey, walnut). Sounds basic but it didn't taste basic. Also a must have. They were out of the Hudson Valley Foie Gras so we were pretty bummed. That will be our next trip. My girlfriend got the Seared Duck Breast (with essence of oranges, lemon thyme, banyuls vinegar, blackberry, glace de canard). This was so delicious. The duck was so tender and flavor infused through out each slice. Her fiance got the "Osso Bucco" Pork Cheeks 28 broccoli rabe, roasted peppers, parmigiano-reggiano, home-madepappardelle pasta. He offer anyone a bite :(. My fiance got the Grilled Filet Mignon (carrot puree, brussels sprouts, fingerling potatoes, port wine sauce). I think this may be one of the best steaks I've ever had... it it going Philadelphia's Barclay Prime and Del Frisco's Double Eagle a run for their money. When I have steaks, almost always is the flavor just on the outside. At Wanda's, even the inner most interior of the cut is flavorful without you dipping into the demi glace/sauce. Apparently I like carrots puree... sometimes. I had the Scottish Salmon (with beech mushroom, crispy parsnip, shanghai tip brown jasmine rice, roasted lobster broth). I licked this plate clean. I don't know what else to say about it. I'm coming back for the sea bass next time. If I hadn't just had sea bass I probably would have gotten that. I'm already excited. Ginger Rosemary Olive Oil Cake (with miso pear jam, chantilly, sesame brittle). This was so good! This sesame brittle yasted liked candied ginger. I don't like sesame, and I don't like candied ginger. But I ate that up like grape Airheads. I'm so confused with myself. Bottom line - must have. Blackberry Walnut Tart (with vanilla ice cream). I don't trust myself even more now. I don't/didn't like walnuts...? But this tart was so good. Main thing that stood out with Wanda is the owners walked around each table to say hi and ask how everything was. You can literally taste the pride on every bite from the butter for the bread to the last crumb of the tart. Speaking of.... even the dinner rolls were amazing. They garnished the butter with a small flower! Rolls were warm and fluffy... it was like cotton candy and the butter was so soft.

First time having dinner at Wanda's and I have to say this place is great for any meal: breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. Started off with the tuna tower which was very fresh, tasty and full of flavor. Loved the crispy wonton noodles. Then I had the duck breast which was cooked perfectly. I skipped on the potatoes and had a extra serving of vegetables. The pork belly special appetizer was amazing. And the gnocchi was fabulous made with duck confit. Can't wait to return.

This was a very nice place to go for brunch on Father's Day. I loved the inside, we were sat upstairs so we had a nice view of below as well as the fairy lights. Our server was very friendly and attentive. There were a few minor mistakes made, but they were correctly quickly without a struggle. The chicken and waffles was incredible, especially the bacon jam it came with. The classic waffle was missing the fresh cream on it so that was slightly disappointing. The omelets my parents got seemed to be good, but my dad did said there was a bit too many tomatoes in his (could be personal preference). I would definitely give it a try and make your opinions!

I stuck with my usual two eggs, which were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. My fiancée ordered the Pretty Toast, their take on French toast, topped with cream cheese, pecans, and sweetened peaches. It honestly reminded me of peach cobbler! When I saw her plate, my jaw dropped--I was instantly jealous! She let me steal a couple of bites, and it was absolutely delicious. It's one of those dishes you could enjoy for breakfast, brunch, or even as a sweet snack. The food was a solid 10/10. Our server, Ben, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. He took the time to tell us a little about the menu and even suggested we try something different. Looking back... I probably should have listened! The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and inviting. It honestly felt like sitting in your nonna's kitchen--warm, comfortable, and full of charm. We can't wait to come back and work our way through the dinner menu. We didn't realize that the restaurant was a part of a country club until we arrived (no where in the reviews did it mention this) but we've done brunch at other country clubs throughout Jersey and it was wonderful. Upon entering the restaurant we saw their only brunch option was for a brunch buffet and from our quick scans of the buffet walking to the hostess stand we all decided we would not be doing brunch (pastries looked like they were from Coscto, warm food looked as though it had been sitting there for a while and the omelettes coming from the omelette station didn't look spectacular so we opted to do their lunch menu instead. Service was SSSLLLLLOOOOOWWWWW! From the very beginning until the very end. It took about 15 minutes before our server arrived to greet us, then another 15 for our first round of cocktails to come out, the about a half an hour for us to be told that they were out of 1 of the 3 appetizers we ordered ... so no lie, after being there a full hour we finally received 2 of the 3 appetizers and were then just able to order a second round of cocktails and our main courses. The cocktails weren't the greatest either. We thought perhaps the first round was our fault because we all tried their "blackberry espresso martini" and we knew it was a risk from the beginning ... so we ordered "safer" cocktails for round 2 and the prosecco based cocktails were even worse than the blackberry espresso martinis smh. I truly don't understand how one messes up prosecco + a splash of limoncello and cranberry (that was what was supposed to be in the cocktail) but they certainly messed it up, to the point where I didn't drink it. Our entrees finally arrived and WOMP WOMP WOMP! Overall every single one was MID at best ... and all I had was French onion soup and a wedge salad .... like how is it possible for those to be BLAH? Food was so MEH we didn't even take pics lol. Needless to say we all agreed we wouldn't be back and wished we had decided on what was our 2nd option for brunch instead.

So, the only reason I opted for Randalls is because it's a short drive and I had work after dinner so it was convenient. Based on their IG posts, it seemed decent. From what I was told, they try to be an upscale steakhouse so bad but just couldn't get it right. But enough of this heresay and here's my actual experience. There's valet. This is a golf course/club house and they have plenty of private spaces for parties and events. They seemed to have coat check but when we arrived, no one offered to check our coats. The main hostess lady that night (in her mint green sweater dress and leather booties) talked to us with a flat face, sans warmth and hospitality, and couldn't manage to fake a smile. She stopped by a couple of times to say we are doing okay and not needing anything. It was more of a statement rather than a query or concern. Then she walked away before I could answer, both times. The ambiance, it's very intimate. They have ample space. Our server was very accommodating and pleasant (I believe her name was Robin). Now here's my honest review on the food. We ordered fried calamari, nothing fancy just good old fried calamari. I feel like you really can't get this wrong because it's breaded and deep fried. It was stinky! Really fishy fish bite that you couldn't ignore it! I mainly ordered this for the kids but after I tasted it, I didn't want to give it to the kids. So they had bread instead. No complaint there. MIL got the filet mignon, ordered medium - it was barely cooked and begging to be seasoned. My husband and I got the lamb chops and I ordered an extra side of toasted sweet potatoes. The lamb chops were also not to the temperature I ordered it and was very undercooked. It didn't have any flavor whatsoever, and the only way I was able to tolerate this bland meat was to dip it in the sauce it came with. The potatoes were very charred on the outside but tough on the inside. The sugars on the outside were so burned it was bitter. If you're looking for a legitimate steakhouse, this ain't it!

We started with the crispy calamari, which was overly fried and lacked flavor. I also ordered the clam chowder and burrata caprese. The chowder was extremely salty and I couldn't finish it, while the burrata had great flavors but the dough was underbaked and too soft to even hold. Patio dining is where it's at!…read more We visited Filomena's Lakeview with another couple on a Wednesday evening. We enjoyed a pre-dinner drink at the bar, and we were so impressed by how friendly the bartenders were. They were engaging and social. They set off our evening on a high note! My Pink Jaguar cocktail was beautiful and caused quite a buzz among the bar patrons! We opted to sit outside, and we are glad we did. The space is open and breezy but fully covered. No need to worry if a passing shower makes its way overhead. Steamed clams in white wine and Truffle fries for the table to start. Yum! All entrees are accompanied by a house salad or Ceasar salad. Our group ordered the Limone Chicken, Chicken Sfiziosa, Steak Frite, and the Eggplant Meatballs/Risotto. Everything came out piping hot and delicious. We loved everything. I know their linguine is house made, but not certain of the other pasta varietals. Cheesecake and Cannoli for dessert, because why not? Really nice experience! Our server was sweet and super-efficient. My only question for Filomena's Lakeview is "Where is the lake?" :)

We arrived around 3:45 PM without reservations and they immediately took us to an open table. Iced Waters were instant. Our server was very pleasant and she took our order. Bread quickly followed with two types served: Italian with sesame seeds and focaccia; however I was puzzled that it was served with a plate of hot peppers and onions in a juice. It seemed off but perhaps it's a Jersey thing. I've been all over in Italy and have never seen this. Olive oil would have been fine along with a splash of balsamic vinegar. Either way I skipped bread condiments. Next came the Fried Tomatoes topped with Lump Crab as an appetizer, but once again I had another head-scratcher, as this dish wasn't typical. First the entire dish lacked seasoning plus salt. Then red tomatoes were used and we all know what happens when you try to fry one. It turns to water after you cut it. The lump crab is what probably made this dish pricey but 3 thinly slices of a red tomato caught me off guard. Now for the final knock out: I ordered the Bone In Pork Chop and impressed that I was asked how Iiked it prepared? I said 145 degrees. She said, you mean well- done. I stated no, that would be in a range of medium. Lo and behold, it was fantastically preparation temperature, but it came topped with the same peppers and onions concoction that came out with the bread. I had no idea that this was a smothered situation. My broccolini was also a mystery. The mashed potatoes were mid. Now on to my daughter's chicken Parmesan: She said that it lacked flavor and had to add salt and pepper and also stated that the sauce was loose and there was too little of it. My wife enjoyed her Salmon. Jersey is cooking differently!!!!! I forgot to add: Underneath of my pork chop I discovered a mysterious piece of corn. I had no corn in my dish??????
