Different Cheesesteak #1188. Aka Maritsas Main St Cafe. I got a cheesesteak, egg and cheese. My favorite thing about Maritsas is that they said yes. Cheesesteak, egg and cheese is not on the menu. The nice young woman at the cash register went and asked if they could make one and they said yes. The meat and egg were mixed very well together. Cheese melted on top/bottom. The roll was soft'ish and toasted. The roll worked with the hardy meat and egg. The 2nd half of this sandwich was very good, the next with Bar-B-Que sauce and time in the air fryer. I've only ever had the Cole slaw from here, but dining here is a goal in 2023! The Cole Slaw has quickly become a party staple at my house. Ordering can be done over the phone and they sell it in a variety of sized. The quart can be purchased for $10, but they also sell bigger catering options as well. Heard good things about this place, and since we were in the area decided to order pick up. I would say that of the four dishes that we got, everybody said that their food was either not great or OK. I ordered a chicken dish that was described as being "smothered" in a creamy white sauce, with spinach and melted mozzarella on top. There was absolutely no creamy white sauce anywhere to be found, which was disappointing because the chicken, while well seasoned, was fairly tough to eat. I ordered an egg and pork roll on a long roll. The roll was soft and chewy, great. The eggs were too dense and overpowered the sandwich. There was also a sweet margarine type flavor spread around the roll that I found out of place. The portion was generous. And the service was prompt and courteous. read more

Management seems to have embraced "covid greed" so fries with your sandwich are considered 'ala carte' for $3.50 extra (that's not an addition or substitution, either). You literally get a handful of fries to fill out the plate, which is just included anywhere else. Keep in mind you're not getting a deal if you skip the starch, you still pay standard diner prices. Make sure you have the standard condiments on your table, you'll need them - seasonings seem to be in short supply in the kitchen; I suppose they're trying to figure out how to upsell salt. My favorite is cheese omelette with home fries and my fiancé's favorite is their breakfast sandwiches but they are always consistent! Nice surprise Found this on yelp. Menu is limited but what they serve is beyond ordinary! The coffee is bold but not bitter. The bacon omelet was very good with plenty of bacon and melted cheese. Blueberry pancakes were real deal. Fresh blueberries were plentiful. The rye toast was real New York style and not mushy like many others. The home fries were awesome with the peppers and onions added. I had the eggs and Italian sausage. You can get hash browns plain as well. Reasonably priced! Why pay for fast food at today's prices, this place is great. Ordered a full dinner with two side fresh salad and a side of pasta plus the entree. Also ordered an iced tea and additional cup of soup. Total price was $26.00 for a sit down meal and waitress service. Funny the night before this we ordered a cheeseburger and a double cheeseburger from a fast food place Five Guys for $21.00 no sides or drink so where is the true value here. Usually love coming to this place, but the service here earlier wasn't all that good. Since moving to the area several years ago, I've been here more time than I could count. The serfvice has always been good, but today it lacked. It took over 45 minutes to get our food. My sons burger wasn't made the way we asked for it to be made. Such a wonderful hometown diner with relaxed, comfortable ambience and great food. The fried eggplant is absolutely the very best I have ever had. I order it as a side every time I am there. The owners are wonderful and truly care about their customers. My boyfriend and I went here for breakfast. he ended up getting chocolate milk. Which smelt and tasted disgusting. You could tell it was spoiled. The server was a sweet heart and apologized a lot. The manager or owner whoever she is, didn't even apologize nor took it seriously. Maritsa's is a hidden gem. My family loves this spot and I had never been before. My mom and I went yesterday for lunch and it was an amazing experience. We went around 1:00 PM; there was no wait. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich and it was AMAZING. It was 100% a 10/10 breakfast sandwich. The bacon was cooked to perfection and it came on a Kaiser roll. They also had excellent coffee; it was very fresh. Our waitress was so sweet and very attentive. She checked on us several times to ensure that we had everything we needed. Definitely recommend this quality family restaurant for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! Have been here many times with family and can report the menu is really solid. Their breakfast offerings are everything you'd expect- I'd recommend the omelet or egg sandwich on a Kaiser roll. For lunch, the specials are a great value- come with soup and a side. I usually pick the chicken Parmesan or the buffalo chicken salad. I like the crispy French fries. And the salads are huge!! And for dinner offerings, my family likes the Chicken Marsala or the fresh fish of the day. The staff is always pleasant, attentive, and professional. And they'll let you choose your own table if space is available! The inside feels reasonably clean and is filled with pleasant decor and some of the owner's family photos. I've lived in the Maple Shade area for a few years and had never been to this restaurant. On Sunday my family and I decided to try it for breakfast and we were pleasantly surprised. Service... Everyone made sure to greet us with a smile and a hello. Unlike most diners/restaurants everyone there seemed to be happy and enjoyed being there. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Our drinks were always refilled and if we needed anything she was right there. Food... The food was delivered in a timely manner but unlike most places that didn't affect quality. The portions were big and filled with flavor. I had the cheese omelette and the cheese was literally going out. The portions were surprisingly big especially when you take the cost into account. Best restaurant in maple shade and then some. Service is excellent 80% of the time, and food is always good, delicious and hot. Coffee is fantastic and portions are enormous. The prices are excellent too. We go almost every Sunday after church, and every Sunday is great and yummy. read more

Went here with a local person. Told me they had real good food and reasonable prices. I had the chic parm as recommended by everyone and it was good. Side salad and fries were included. Reminded me of a diner. The decor wasn't good(dated) but the service and food were better then average. Everything was clean and I would go back in the future. I went back East to visit my parents for the Christmas holiday and they took me to their favorite restaurant twice. The food at Maritsas's is absolutely wonderful!! Everything tasted fresh and like it was homemade. I live in Las Vegas and with all the places there, nothing has compared to this. A small place in a historical town, the staff so friendly, they knew my Mom and Dad as they are regulars, we were made to feel like right at home. It was such a treat! While I live out West, the one thing I do miss, good East coast cooking and food. This place is absolutely awesome!! The first day, we went for breakfast, I had the Italian sausage and eggs, absolutely wonderful!! The next day we went for dinner, I had the chicken chicken cacciatore. I have not had such a good Italian style meal in a very long time!!This place I highly recommend for anyone who visits or lives in Jersey!! Really like the food here. It's always hot and comes out fast. Service is always excellent and polite. The food tastes fresh and not like its been sitting around all day. The only issue I have here is the coffee is absolutely terrible. This might even be the worst coffee I ever had. Thought it was just a fluke last week but it's just as bad today. Had the coffee not tasted like they filtered it through a dirty gym sock this place would have gotten 5 stars. Definitely a great meal and a family friendly place. First time eating here yesterday with my Mom and Aunt and I was impressed. On Main St in Maple Shade, with front and rear parking/entrances. The place seems small but there's adequate space. The place stays busy and for good reason. Our waitress was sweet, friendly and very accommodating to our menu requests. My newspaper runs a Best of South Jersey contest every spring, where readers are asked to vote on the best that Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties have to offer in myriad categories. While I've passed Maritsa's several times in my two years as a Maple Shade resident, the aforementioned contest is how I learned both what exactly the cozy little restaurant has to offer in the way of cuisine and how unbelievably delicious the menu's offerings are. My fiance and I went here one recent morning, and we were hooked from the moment we walked through the front door. The countryesque interior is charming without being hokey and has enough tastefully unique touches for there to be a distinct character to the place. The staff is friendly and attentive. And the food? The familiar favorites (pancakes, fried shrimp) are the best of their kind, and the more unusual fare (specialty wraps, chicken parm sandwiches) are simply mouthwatering. The pick-up service is just as speedy, efficient and inviting as its sit-down counterpart. An order of six items required less than 20 minutes of preparation time at a peak dining hour, and the food tasted like it had been laboriously prepared. Definitely one of the best finds in the tri-county area. Every meal so far has been a treat and, as someone who finds a favorite and sticks with it for ages, I've yet to have the same things twice because everything Maritsa's has to offer is the shining example of what all food should aspire to. read more
