Alex was careful to ask about our likes and dislikes before putting together the frittata. I've never had one like it (see picture). I even loved the croissant with cheese and aioli and I rarely eat bread on the side. The portions are generous for a high end coffee shop. The atmosphere ended up being friendly and comfortable even though it's in the lobby of an office building. Several regulars chatted with us (I'm not sure how happy they'll be about such a positive review bringing in more people!) I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but the mocha was delicious and my husband said his cappuccino was excellent (he's very much into coffee). We will definitely be back. The staff kept our water filled, which is always a plus. The biggest issue we had was the pacing of the meal. Typically when we order small plates and order everything at once, we have had our dishes paced where we can enjoy 1-2 things and then move on to the next round as it arrives. In this case, we had one plate to eat from, and every dish came out one after another, so on our 2-top table, we barely had room to function. By the time we had enough of our salad and focaccia so we could stack the serving dishes to make space, our pasta dish was cold. We had ordered the Dolly Focaccia (stuffed with whole confit garlic cloves (they slid out when you picked up a piece so it was a little messy), the Dolly Caesar, the Tricolor Cauliflower, and the Mafaldine with the spicy pork ragu. The Caesar was very heavily dressed, so that made for a soggy salad. The focaccia seemed to be a touch underbaked - the inside was a little gummy. The mafaldine was good - just hard to maneuver for serving with the packed table since it was all one giant noodle, more or less. I would have loved a fresh plate at some point with all of the saucy items. The cauliflower was our favorite dish. We might have stayed for dessert, but the finagling of all of our dishes made us feel kind of rushed and feeling like we should call it. All that said, we were able to get a table without a reservation, the staff were all very friendly, and we were in and out in about an hour, so it met our needs. The staff is wonderful, especially Claudean and Michael, who are friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. Claudean makes a mean cocktail too! We really enjoy the homemade chips and dip they serve. We're surprised that the mornings tend to be busier than the evenings, especially since evenings is when they shine! Lovely place for food and libations - great spot for girls night out, after-work gatherings, or meet-ups before a show or concert.

And in addition to those, there is a full bar, along with a small coffee counter right near the entrance. We stopped by on a Saturday evening, after a day of exploring, and were glad for such a fun little joint. If you are downtown, you can easily take the street car over, or just walk, but there are precious few parking spaces nearby. Service seems pretty chill, for the most part, through this is a place you bus your own tables and such. And the prices we paid for our meal were decent, on the whole. So yeah, an enjoyable little place, with lots of big choices. Definitely worth coming back to.
