My first time coming to this place and last. Very disappointed not the food but the fact that this place the day I decide to go they don't have the cc machine working. The waiter could have told us before we were offered to sit down and order food. Like I even told the waiter this was very inconvenient since we had to go and pull cash from a store or an atm. A-OK is exactly my experience with Wanfu last night. Came in for a quick dinner since I was working late. Decided to try the chicken with jalapeno sauce and let them know I didn't have a lot of time. They were very quick and accommodated my special requests (extra spicy and no bell peppers), which I appreciated. However, the food was just okay-not a lot of flavor to it. I almost always get the fried Tofu, best I've ever had and vegetable fried rice. It has great tasting fresh vegetables. I always get my rice without egg and mushrooms and it isn't a problem because unlike most places it is fresh to order! The delivery is usually quick, a couple of times the driver couldn't find our apartment but it's not the easiest to find, both times they've been extremely apologetic and the food is still hot so no worries! This is an awesome addition to the area! I went in for the first time last night and got a kint chocolate slush and General Tso's Chicken with fried rice. The mint chocolate slush was awesome. It was super rich and not too icy like it can be when made in a similar way. The fried rice was prefect. It was light and flavorful, savory but not at all greasy. The General Tso's Chicken was interesting at first as they included sliced jalapeños for a little kick, but it made me realize that I have been missing sliced jalapeños in my General Tso's 5all this time. Since it was Chinese New Year's Eve, the family was all there rushing around preparing a big dinner, and everybody was incredibly nice and wished me Happy New Year on the way in and out.
