9/10 Crispy honey chicken 8/10 cheese puffs 7/10 steamed dumplings I almost didn't come because of the low rating BUT this place was a minute from my hotel. I'm glad I came. This is the best chicken dish I have had. I usually stay away from breaded chicken pieces because every single time, they are over breaded and the filling is full of uncooked batter. Maybe I just came at a bad time, but this joint seemed super chaotic and the single hostess running the front was very curt, which came across as rude and even felt prejudiced. I watched a couple of groups go in before me from my car so when I sat down, several had been there already. I felt completely rushed to order which I did at the counter as she never acknowledged me, while she went to other's table to place their orders?!? A table of African American gentlemen had been there well before me; however the ladies who came in when I did and ordered after me received their food first...hmmm. One of these men asked for water and she told him to get it himself pointing to the cooler. A new couple walked in who she immediately addressed and offered them water, and went to the same cooler herself and brought to them...hmmm. Why didn't you greet me, come take my order or offer me water?? Mom and pop type of Chinese restaurant off of Westpark Blvd in the Spring Branch subdivision of Houston. Food was fresh and tasty even tho it was ordered very close to closing time. The girl at the register was very pleasant patient and cordial. Other choices around the very small strip mall, a subway a Tex Mex restaurant and an American one. A few minutes drive on either direction of Clay Rd will definitely offer more choices. Was surprised at the popularity of pick up orders that late in the evening, having tasted their food I understand why. I had the house fried rice and some type of appetizer I already forgot. This place is my go-to whenever I'm craving Chinese food. It's kind of like a Panda Express, but 10 times better and they have more authentic Chinese food. My favorite plate is their Orange Chicken lunch special. I prefer getting the lunch plate which comes with orange chicken, fried rice, and an egg roll. Plenty of food, it comes out fast, and it's delicious. The chicken has real orange peels so it adds a nice tangy taste to it. We ordered about 50 dollars worth of food including Teriyaki chicken that come on kabob sticks. I had taken a few bites of the teriyaki chicken when I noticed something in the skin of the chicken. It was maggots laid through out the pieces of chicken. My husband picked one out and opened it up. Little larva were inside. I called and told them what I found they sent the delivery driver to pick up the meal including the unopened 2 liter soda. He looked at it and tried to tell me it was fried rice. Oh how I wish it had been fried rice. I assure you it was not. I was told they would refund me my money but they never did. All I got was a few bites of maggot chicken. read more

The place was very clean, and the staff was super friendly. The food was pretty bland to average. Was disappointed to see that the General Tso and the Sesame Chicken were both dark meat. The best dish on the menu is the Mongolian shrimp. It will always be on our delivery order. And delivery is super fast! Seafood is always cooked perfectly and they use decent sized shrimp in their dishes. As far as the regular "Americanized" menu items, I will pass. I'm an evening/weekend customer and must say that I'm really appreciative they are in the neighborhood. I'm a fan of both Hunan and Schezuan prepared dishes with lots of veggies and this place never fails to please. Consistent quality and very nice service. Sometimes, I'm a late arriver of 9:15 and they accommodate; I've even seen people walk in AT 9:30 CLOSING TIME and they serve them.
