I'm obviously asking for a refund but of course the vet is not there on Fridays and when she did return, she refused a refund and refused to correct situation. I would not recommend this place at all. She made my dog sicker I had to bring him to another vet to change his diet again and pay all over again. Her recommendation was to keep bringing him back & to keep charging us to check his blood levels. !!! After she admitted to the mistake?? She said she just "didn't check what ingredients were in the food. " She gave my dog ???? she still wanted us to come in and pay for more visits to check on her own mistake??!?! audacity is on sale at this place!!!

More recently when we visited for a shot and asked the vet to take a one minute look at our puppies leg she didn't have time to feel it but just to observe her walking. Great service and a true animal lover right there! They also like to stagger shots that other vets give simultaneously to get more office visit money out of you. When told of our disappointment with it was suggested we find a new vet. Gladly! I wouldn't give this place another penny after the dishonesty and lack of caring over the past few weeks. He and his fabulous assistant, Stephanie, take such good care of your pets that you will know immediately that you have found the right vet. Your pets will know it, too. My dogs actually pull me to get inside the office after we park, because they never feel stressed while they are being treated. They feel like they are just visiting friends. If I had to recommend them based upon one trait, it would be their empathy for your pets and you. They know that your pets are not just pets, but valuable members of your family, and they treat them as such. We tried other vets in our local area before we were pointed in the direction of Airport Vet by a neighbor, and we are so grateful that we took his advice. So are our doggies!

Being fairly new to the area I inquired on NextDoor if anyone had experience with a surgeon. The majority of the answers pointed us towards Dr. Paul McNamara with Hudson Highland Veterinary Group. Upon our first visit we quickly discovered Dr McNamara was surgeon for Dutchess County K9 dogs and has been awarded commendations for his years of dedicated service. He demonstrated a gentle approach towards Mia and quickly determined she had a luxtating patella that did require surgery. Our consultation was not rushed he answered every single question and you can imagine trusting our baby who is never had any issues prior was absolutely terrifying. Dr. McNamara was thorough and even sent us home with a video explaining the procedure and after care with regards to this particular surgery. They even took the opportunity to allow us to view the operating room and after the initial consultation,we knew that we had selected the best choice possible for our little girl. We arrived at7AM for her drop off and the team was easily reachable with the dozens of questions throughout the day and night. The next day Mia came home a little woozy but overall in good spirits. I hear a lot of owners saying the cone to prevent licking the stitches is stressful. The team here uses a Lick sleeve which was a pant leg that was fastened on the surgical leg to prevent her licking the incision. This made for a less stressful environment for all of us. Dr. McNamara, Colleen, Allison and Tara were super kind and supportive throughout the entire process. She is now 12 weeks post surgery and doing quiet well. We are thrilled with the outcome and would not hesitate recommending them in the future.

Our daughter had the car, so I called Dr. Barbara MacMullan and she came over after she was done working her day job, at a local Vet's office. For $50 she did a full exam, weighed our cat, clipped his nails, examined his ears, eyes and mouth and talked to us at length about the options. We didn't want to lance the abscess because it was so close to the eye, so she prescribed amoxicillin. Two days later our cat was on the mend. We didn't have to take him anywhere! No stress. And a $10 savings from going to the Vet. A Vet who makes house calls is great. A Vet who makes thorough house calls and follows up is amazing. And Dr. MacMullan definitely falls into the latter category. :)

I have been attempting to contact them for days leaving voicemails and texting them without a response. I am going to have to take my dog to another vet for an emergency visit due to the lack of response. The unprofessionalism is outrageous. I also had my other dog's tumors removed and during a follow up appointment they one of the stitches and accidentally left them on.

Following the doctors initial exam, he will leave the room, send in a vet assistant a half hour later with an itemized bill for a host of services and labs you do not need and did not come for. THEN they will negotiate the price for you as the vet assistant leaves and comes back to the room several times to negotiate down with the doctor. The process is hours long and painful. As if that's not bad enough, I was denied a copy of my pets prescription for food that he was prescribed BY THEM and was all out of - because they wanted him back in for another visit before they would give me a copy of the prescription!! And I told them he was out of food and needed it! Unreal. What if he gets sick? They do NOT care about your pets and exist solely to make money off of you! Be warned. I have reported this vet and will be following up.
