I never have to wait very long, the staff is professional, and the environment is consistently pleasant. Another bonus is the location. One practical tip: Parking at Atherton Mill can be a bit challenging, especially during busy times since there are several restaurants and retail stores in the area. My friend's eye glasses was bended after the Halloween Dance party that it was dropped and stepped on. My friend was very upset as she could not see without the eye glasses. We were recommended to come to Warby Parker at Atherton Mill, 2000 South Blvd. First, the staff was very professional and welcoming . and Ms. Licensed Optician Lily H came to us and offered assistance sincerely. She is so awesome, she fixed the damages on the eyeglass frame on the spot after 20 minutes. She is very friendly and we asked to offer a fee and she told us that it was at NO COST to us. My friend got her eyeglasses back joyfully as she could see now as the eyeglasses was fixed just like NO accident happened . Thank you so much for the Optician Lily H and she offered a big help which meant so much for others. I ordered a pair of glasses on January 10, 2026. Got email the same day stating they had started on my glasses. Great! Two weeks later I still had not received my glasses so I contacted customer service. Was told they were still working on them because there was a problem in the lab. Received email stating they would be delivered January 29. Just checked status and because of the weather, they will get them to me "as soon as possible". So with another winter storm coming, I will be lucky if I get them in another two weeks. In addition the frames I purchased were the same as the pair I bought in 2024 for $145. This time I paid $175 because they are designer frames made in Italy per the associate in the store. These frames were not made in Italy. Please don't insult my intelligence. My husband and I have bought at least 7 pairs of glasses at Warby. I have learned my lesson and we will not be returning. Buyer beware! read more

I went in to get new glasses 02/09 around lunchtime ish - the young lady with the hijab was very nice. She turned me over to pay with another lady who just walked on the floor since she got tied up wirh a new customer while I was walking around, & that woman is the reason I walked out and left the glasses. (Oh first when I was turned over to pay, she was looking confused & she says, "Wait. What's going on?" As I'd she was irritated the woman with the hijab was asking her to help me.) so odd. 1.) I said I just wanted to pay but I want one from t he back. She said "No we have to get your lenses and anti glare, etc etc blah blah." I said "No I just want the glasses but I don't want what was out." She repeated herself. I said "Slow down. I only want the glasses." She walks off attitude 2.) I look at the glasses and see scratches, & smudges. When I brought it up and she "Well you're getting them replaced anyway." Why am I explaining myself to her on what I want??? I mentioned "That's not the point, I don't want them handled by others. For example this one you just brought me is Flimsy." I just said "I don't want them." Customer service has gone down everywhere!!! Covid has these business spoiled, and they hire people who have attitudes and no accountability. read more

Since about 2013 or so, I've been a loyal customer to Warby Parker for my eyeglasses. They provide classic and trendy styles at affordable prices all the while giving back. I frequent this store to try on the styles I like online, even though you can order online five styles to try on at home for free. The store is in the Atherton Market and, yes, parking is a pain so the best advice to is to go during off-hours. My last visit was on a Friday, right around 5 pm and I didn't have any problem getting a spot. The store is brightly lit and impeccably organized by fit and type of metal/style. The employees are decked out in blue smocks. Every time I've visited, they have all been helpful. When you walk in, the eyeglasses are to your right and the sunglasses are to your left. I just recently ordered my latest pair of glasses in the store. They have to measure the distance between your eyes, so they will bring out a contraption to hold to your face. Also, be sure to have your prescription with you. The glasses will be shipped to your house within 7-10 business days. It is an easy, breezy process. I've referred two coworkers to Warby and I hope more people are able to try them out now with their brick & mortar store. read more

I couldn't believe how I walked out of there with a pair of glasses for under $200 and that includes the lenses! So easy to order. I went with my prescription which made it such a breeze. From having a couple of their prescription eyeglasses frames & sunglasses always purchased online, it's so nice to be able to go into a brick & mortar store to try on & buy. Now mind you, you still get them sent to you, but it's nice to be able to try on in the store. James Kane helped me with my latest sunglasses purchase & he was fantastic! Making the purchase was quick & easy. In about a week or so, my sunglasses were mailed to me. Store is gorgeous & so cute. Everything is organized & plenty of educated staff. I frequently visit the Warby Parker website, but decided to go into the store to actually try on a pair. The store is very clean and sleek and all glasses are in place. It was a rainy day and there were a few people in the store being helped by the associates, so I didn't expect anyone to come rushing to assist me so I just begin browsing. However, the one associate that looked up from their tablet when I walked in didn't speak and once she was done assisting her one customer, she walked over and stood right behind me (I was in the mirror trying on glasses), looked at me and still didn't utter a word. I looked around for a little bit and realized that every other person that walked into the store was greeted by the associates and informed that they would be with them shortly. An associate then walked and asked if the lady to my right needed any help, then asked the gentlemen to my left if he needed any help and walked away. Lol Here I am thinking I had my orange juice that morning and apparently it was spiked with an invisibility potion. Came here with a friend looking for prescription sunglasses. Prices ranged from $95-150. Prices include everything. Extra $30 for the glasses that change with the light. A variety of options were available. I found some sunglasses that were cool. Staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. I've never needed glasses and still had fun trying on frames. On January 22, one pair of prescription glasses and a pair of sunglasses cost me almost $1000. Shopping for glasses a Warby Parker reminded me of going to the Apple Store and I mean that in the most positive terms possible. They greet you warmly are all connected with their tablets, give you all the help you need along with all the space you need to explore and try frames on while your there without bugging you until you're ready for more help. It's a pretty easy deal all the way around and you can try on the frames on the wall to your hearts content, all the while knowing exactly what those frames will cost. Once you choose your frames they go over the options for lenses and give you the various prices until you land where you want and then they ring you up on the tablet. You have a choice to pick up the frames back at the store when they come in or they will mail them to your home and you can come back to have them fit if you need to do so. I did the mail to home and I did need to go back for more proper fitting so I could have gone either way with the same result, another trip to the store. My only advice about this particular location, don't go on a Saturday and it's not about the folks at WP being able to help you as they were very busy but able to take care of me in a reasonable amount of time. It's about Atherton Mills on a Saturday and the lack of parking with all the goings on there including the Farmer's Market. Parking at AM is most always a challenge but it was ridiculous on a Saturday. I wound up needing to park near Sycamore Brewing and walk a few blocks. read more

Very disappointed to find out that WP cannot replace my broken frame! The answer I got is that I have to order a new frame AND glasses at a cost of $425.00 I live in Charlotte NC and both WB retail brick stores are closed. Glasses arrived and I couldn't see out of them. After researching with customer service, they determined my prescription was entered completely incorrectly at the store under the Cylinder numbers instead of Sphere. While she was working on preparing a new order, she started asking all these questions like "did they suggest a progressive lens, a high-index lens? Maybe they were trying to convert it, did anyone reach out to you?" All of these things I have zero clue about. It got way too complicated quickly. Don't let the slick store and marketing fool you these are the worst sunglasses I've ever owned. The lenses scratch so easily and the frames have had to be tightened up multiple times. Needed them before traveling so I was told that with expedited --more money on my charge--I'd have them almost a week before I needed them. I finally called the main Warby Psrker number when they hadn't arrived as scheduled and learned that they were it even ready to finish making the glasses or shipping them. At least I could cancel the order and not be charged because they hadn't started to make the glasses. So think twice or six times if you want high quality or if you can't wait weeks and weeks for your new glasses. How did they get such great reviews? I'm trying to use up my vision benefits so I was on the hunt for some stylish, affordable frames. Usually I order from Sam's for ~$200-225 for the lenses and frames, but this time I decided to check out Warby Parker. It's located in Atherton Mills, and there's plenty of parking in the lot. Honestly I was skeptical about the $95 out the door price, because this is the high rent district and nothing is affordable/cheap over here anymore lol. I am totally eating my words- WP has a new loyal customer! They have SO many cute frames, and depending on your prescription, they're legit $95 out the door. Mine were!! The sales associates are all pleasant and knowledgeable about frames, and today they made great recommendations. I never felt pressured or like I was taking too much time to decide, and when my Optometrist's Office needed extra paperwork to send the prescription to WP, their associates handled it all. The store itself is very clean, has parking, and is well lit with many options. I own a pair of Warby Parker glasses, so when I needed a pair of prescription sunglasses I came here as well since I could try on all the pairs I wanted to that day without waiting for a home try-on kit. Their glasses are fairly good quality and pretty trendy, so the product and company itself is great. It's the bad impression of this store that is the cause of this review. I went in on a weekday on my own because I saw on Yelp that the employees give honest feedback and were very helpful, and I didn't want to be there all day. When I came in there were a few people being helped, so I went over to the display and began looking at sunglasses and trying a few on. A salesgirl was helping a woman right in front of the sunglasses so she saw me but didn't say anything, which is totally fine since she was with someone else, but just noting that it wasn't as if no one saw me there. After a few minutes the sales people were pretty free, two were at the register while one was helping someone else, and they looked as if they were finishing some stuff up so I figured someone would check on me in just a few minutes since I was really the only other person in there, but also knew I could always just ask for help if they were taking a while finishing their computer stuff. I tried on a few more pairs and a couple of girls came in looking at sunglasses too. Within less than a minute a salesperson was over there greeting them and helping them. No one ever looked at me, greeted me, or interacted with me in the way they were helping these other customers. I looked around to see if maybe I had missed something but the other salespeople just continued to ignore my existence. Maybe I didn't look like I was serious about buying sunglasses, but I just went home and ordered the glasses online. When I order from Warby Parker again I'm just going to go in to try on glasses. Bought single vision sunglasses and progressive glasses. The progressive glasses didn't work very well due to some blurry areas. I had my vision test reviewed, but the numbers were correct. Returned to Warby Parker and they made some easy adjustments. Progressives seem to frequently need adjusting. I am now finding both pairs of glasses comfortable and useful, but I doubt I'd get the progressives again. They are more expensive and I think clear single vision and then some readers might work better & be more affordable. I'm actually thinking that I will try this combination and see if it's better than the progressives. Not faulting Warby Parker though, as these glasses are much better than nothing. read more

Came in on a weekday and though they had plenty of people working, no one bothered to greet us. They glanced up from whatever they were doing and said nothing. No one smiled and they all looked like they dreaded their job. I went ahead and tried on some glasses and wait to be assisted or at the least, acknowledged. Nope. Don't bother expecting any type of customer service here. I came with the intention of leaving with a pair of glasses and left empty handed because we were just ignored. It was such a disappointment since a friend referred this place to me after she got a pair here. I made plenty of eye contact with the employees and got glances but no words were exchanged. I had no idea that Warby Parker had a store in Charlotte but I happened to be in town just a week or so after ordering a pair of Warby Parker glasses. We stopped in the store and I was able to have my glasses adjusted so they're no longer sliding off of my face, which is pretty important. When we walked in the place was pretty busy but an employee asked if we needed any help. I explained that I thought my glasses needed some adjusting. He took a look and within 10 minutes, they were all adjusted. This is a great alternative to their try on at home program if you're in the area. read more

I visited this location and the customer service was top rate! The gentleman that assisted me, I don't remember his name but I do know that he's New York and the frames he picked first were WINNERS! I was absolutely thrilled with the price it was much lower than I anticipated since my lenses tend to be on the Ficker side. The process was quick and that's around for prescription glasses or 7 to 10 days.
