I've been to the Assembly Row location and it was a terrible experience. Customer Service ...baaaaad. I'm very very very disappointed with Warby Parker order processing I was just talk to 2 friends of mine and they asked me if I recommend Warby Parker for prescription glass. My answer to them is not at all. First because of the lack of communication. The reason i have said that is because i'm the one who get in touch with you guys and ask information about the delivery of my glasses and was not updated for the delay. Second is the promise for the delivery. When I went to the store I paid for the eye exam and the prescription glass right on the spot and the very nice young lady sales person told me my prescription glass because of the corona virus will (not) arrive later than 2 weeks. And now you guys came up With this excuse saying the reason for the delay is: (due to the enhanced safety measures at our optical lab to safely prepare, package, and clean each pair of glasses and sunglasses shipped to our customers.) what if I have paid the $20 priority you guys suggested? Camon give me a break! I can say this: I just want my glasses because I need them, this was the first and will be the last time I'll use warby Parker and I'll make sure all my friends and social media friends know the experience I have with you guys. So I ordered 2 pairs of prescription glasses from them and when I received them, I was underwhelmed with my choices. I had only a few hours left to use up some left over money on my flexible spending account and the representative on the phone made it simple... Pick a couple frames, if you get them and dont like them, we can easily exchange them out for you. Well, I got them and they looked no different than the ones I already had. My fault, but I needed to get that order in. So before wasting any more time, I headed on down to the new Warby on Thayer street and walked right up, was greeted at the door, and hit them on a less busy time as I was able to walk in, was insturcted to sanitize my hands and then was told to try on however many I wanted, but if I touched any frames, they needed to go on trays set up in the middle of the store, where staff would spray them down with sanitizer and then wipe each of them clean. They offered to assist me several times and even offered suggestions and opinions. I was able to find two frames that I am so excited for, and should be arriving to me today. $100 for frames and prescription lenses.... YES PLEASE! I love Warby. They honestly have provided me the absolute BEST customer service over the past few years, have replaced scratched lenses for free, and are always the nicest people to chat with (since I do most of my ordering and troubleshooting online with them.) Terrible experience with this Warby Parker location. 2 Staff members completely ignored me when I approached the counter. They looked up and continued to converse with one another until one left to go to the back. The other staff member made eye contact with me, said nothing and continued to look down and finish whatever she was doing. No acknowledgement at all. Would not recommend. read more

This store is larger than the Newbury street location (which is on the second floor and a bit hard to find). If you're able to try on the frames quickly , you should be in and out in 30 minutes (it does help to take a look at their website before visiting and making a quick note of the frames you like) Make sure your prescription is under 2 years old. It's ok if it doesn't have your pupillary distance. They can measure that in store. read more

The customer service here is impeccable! One of the workers helped me pick a style that best suited my face and walked me through the whole ordering process and was very friendly and accommodating throughout all of it. The checkout system was a little buggy which resulted in the worker having to go to his manager for help. The manager gave me a 10% discount for the wait time (it was only 10 minutes so it was not a big deal at all) completely on his own volition and was very apologetic that the system was not cooperating! The quality of service that was once made available to many paying customers is no longer able to be performed to the same degree due to constrictions put in place by Covid-19. I went to Warby Parker to get my glasses resized and tightened because they kept falling off of my face. These were glasses that I bought from them last year sometime ago. One of the people there, a gentleman by the name of Shawn saw me immediately and asked if he could help me. Shawn was a very cordial, nice and funny dude! He kept me cracking up as he worked on my glasses. In no time he fixed the problems and had me try them on. The glasses fit perfectly- I'm using them to write this review! Steven helped my husband pick out glasses and got him all set up going over what it will be like with progressives (first pair) and went over every option available for the best fit and best lens. I found out that I need my first-ever pair of glasses and came to Warby Parker that same afternoon. It was the friendliest, most enjoyable glasses-buying experience I could have imagined. A young woman with short blonde hair (sad that I can't recall her name!) helped me try on several frames, told me all about the specs of each, and made helpful suggestions. Such a great way to be introduced to the world of wearing glasses. All of the frames in the store were stylish and the prices are so reasonable - I purchased the Oliver frame in a nice blue/brown pattern and paid around $150 (which included the optional $50 blue light filter for computer screens). I have never had such a pleasant experience buying glasses. Someone helped me with the fit and the style and was blunt and honest which is great when trying to find a style that both compliments your face shape/ hair color/ skin color, etc. But what was even better was the fact that when it came down to purchasing my glasses, someone else helped me with the fit of the lenses relative to the frame! No virtual try on app for Google Android, only iPhone. I can go on other sites with my Android, why not them? I have a narrow face and picking glasses that look good is really hard. I tried many times to find out what the status of my glasses was. I never got a straight answer. I was told the delay was due to the lab, and Covid, the weather, and the final time was blamed on UPS. No one could give me even an estimate as to when they would be sent. Igor one really rude email from someone who did not think I could and. I emailed back how rude it was and he did not email back. I spoke to Jesse who said he would get to the bottom of it and get back to me on Tuesday. I called on Tuesday and he was off!!!! When I said I wanted to cancel, no one seemed to care. I was told by someone in the Providence store they would cancel and send me a confirmation email but I would have to wait to get my money back. I NEVER got that email!!!! A friend had a pair of glasses on I was completely IN LOVE with. He told me he bought them from Warby Parker, and even showed me the other pairs he purchased as well. He told me about their affordable prices and I thought it was too good to be true. I came to the PRU to eat at Eataly, and noticed a Warby Parer. I found myself wondering inside, trying on handfuls of selections of styles. The associate who assisted me was amazing, she was super friendly, and even helped me to choose my final two pairs. My daughter bought a new glasses from Warby Parker on Jan 1st 2020 and it took almost 3 weeks to receive the new glasses. As usual, the new glasses need to be adjusted and so she went back to the store to adjust it. When they adjusted her new glasses, they broke her frame! She is now waiting for a replacement and it is two weeks already. She is still waiting and wearing her old glasses after month and a half later. You thought they will speed up the delivery process because they broke her frame, no they didn't.
