Last night decided to take my nephew out for his 21st Birthday. Purchase tickets ahead of time on the Fandango app. First time going to the movies ever since the pandemic. Lots have changed concessions very limited . Only drinks , hot dogs , popcorn, candies , some hot food not much. The drinks station is manned by a worker w/plexiglass for protection. Social distancing between each seats and masked must be worn at all times except eating or drinking. Support local and be safe read more

I've been coming to the Ward Entertainment Center for many, many years. I'm surprised that I haven't written a Yelp review. Well it's never too late? Well maybe it is? So many businesses have left, including, but not limited to, Dave & Busters, Buca di Beppo, Starbucks and Big City Diner, to name a few! Thankfully, there is long time tenant Consolidated Ward theater. Yes, it's a big screen movie theater. The movie seats are worn and somewhat tattered. Oh, but the memories made here watching movies on the big screen! The visual impact and sound system takes it to another dimension! The air conditioning is great during the hot summer months. Parking is still free here! Bathrooms are available for patrons. New and old establishments such as Okayama Kobo Bakery & Cafe, Salon Bobby & Guy, L & L Barbecue and more are hopefully here to stay. Entertainment in Kaka'ako, Honolulu, Hawaii... The Ward Entertainment Center is basically a large, three-leveled structure with a covered parking garage attached to it. I mostly come here for the multi-screened Consolidated movie Theater. Other popular places are Big City Diner, Buca di Beppo, Starbucks, and Panda Express on the ground level. Upstairs, next to the theater is Dave & Buster's. Parking is free, except for the valet option which is up the ramp and mainly on weekends. It's best to arrive early. If the parking garage is full, park down the way at Whole Foods or TJ Maxx... In general, I like this Entertainment Center. There's a convenient restroom on the ground floor near the elevator and Big City Diner. The escalator is closer to Buca di Beppo and the theater. The stairs are towards the corner of Auahi and Kamakee Streets near Men's Wearhouse. Enjoy! read more

Wow I came here on a Wednesday night to go to a friend's birthday dinner at Dave and Buster's and had no idea that it is also club night! There was no parking and the line to get in was around the building and down the stairs! We decided to go elsewhere that night. But in general, the parking here is pretty good and now they have the lighted indicators with green or red to say if the stall is full or not. Buca is always a fave, but a lot of the old restaurants (Panda, Big City Diner, Cold Stone) are gone. Can't wait to see what is next for this place! read more

The Whole Ward Entertainment complex sucks the design the materials used the layout architecture from there Ward entertainment complex garage is terrible the elevators are creepy it's not conducive to people congregating or interacting with the food establishments and then they must be involved with that parking garage over at Whole Foods because it's horrible scraped up old peoples cars is absolutely treacherous every time you take your car in there they could've made a little wider this is the worst that I've ever seen it's better than Chinatown and at least Whole Foods put in the green light red light but WFM hopefully should be ashamed Amazon should pay to have it at least have it painted come on Amazon come on Ward Village partners up your game you guys are getting lazy lazy read more

Ward has always been the "expensive" theater not just because it's nice, but the location of it, the price for the tickets and the size of the theaters. With exception that many other theaters have popped up and even changed their seatings, Ward is still a very nice theater. The reclining chairs are huge ! I did rate it four because the womens bathroom on both sides of the concession stands were MESSSSSY and I just couldn't *crying face emoji* the floor in front of the soda machine was sticky and the counter was messy as well *covering mouth/sick emoji* I watched TAG, which was very funny. The theaters is next to Bucca's (Italian restaurant) and Dave n Busters. There are other food joint located on the side of that whole entire building complex; pandas, Starbucks, ben and Jerry's, l&l and many more. read more

This is a review for this complex overall, which is to say, whatever the property manager/owner/developer oversees, rather than the individual as those businesses have their own business pages. This shopping center is the most frustrating place to try to go on this island and I absolutely loathe it. Why? Parking. Always parking. As the anxiety builds as I pass Ala Moana and plunge into Kaka'ako, I know what's coming: an endless loop of a crowded parking garage where everyone is trying, and most are failing, to avoid paying for a valet. No matter the time, trying to find free parking here is always a disaster. The property manager should be ashamed. They've blocking off an entire floor of a the attached parking garage to make a few extra bucks. In reality, it's a one-time success as I will not come back here by choice. If I do have to come back, I will walk a mile before paying for valet. Okay, I agree $7, is not a significant amount of money, and I'm a person who is all too happy to pay for convenience -- I think it's a great way to spend money. But here, the obvious price gouge by taking half of the garage space for valet parking shows an utter lack of respect for the customers, and that infuriates me. Without the valet blocking off an entire floor of the two-story garage, the stress of trying to park here would be dramatically reduced, if not eliminated entirely. Add to it that this shopping center, with its movie theater and restaurants, is designed for people to come and stay for several hours, meaning there less-frequent turnover in parking. As a result, I'm not coming back. I'm just one person, but if more people feel like me, then the business start to suffer and nobody wins. It's really unfortunate because it is a nice area with some fun places to spend some time, but I prefer less hassle in getting to my destination, and Ward Entertainment Center prohibits my enjoyment of said entertainment. read more

I love Ward. I love that Ward provides a variety of activities for all ages to be entertained. I've been frequenting Ward ever since I was a kid so I've seen this place develop into what it is today. Before, it was basically just Dave & Buster's and the theaters. Parking as of recently is a complete and utter nightmare! Let me first say that I think Kaka'ako will be absolutely beautiful after development... However, was it really necessary to subtract all the parking?! Kaka'ako is so big, but they chose the areas RIGHT by the entertainment center to build residential condos... If you come here, especially on a weekend or holiday... Good luck finding parking without driving around in circles. read more

During my children's two week Spring Break, it sort of felt like I lived at the Ward Entertainment Center. Movies? Check! Starbucks? Check! Panda Chinese food? Check! Dave & Buster's where they cut your arms off because three kids can blow through game cards insanely fast? Check! Check! Check! If it's the weekend then yes, parking here can be frustrating beyond words. But that's why I try to only come here in the daytime or valet upstairs on the weekend. The $7 valet is worth not pulling your hair out because you've been circling endlessly and your kids are screaming. You can also park down by TJ Maxx, but most people are not willing to walk even though it's right next door. read more

The theater itself is great but the reason for the low score is the parking and the extras card. The new manual kiosks are awesome but you have to enter the card number and not your phone number. When I went in to get my reward points I was told I can't get them after the fact. It is very inconsistent that I've had to request points in the past and some people at the customer service counter give them and some say they aren't able to. I'm frustrated with the inconsistency. Also the parking is the worst! They are going through construction at the moment but they could have a much better plan and parking directors then they have now. If you are late to a movie do not try the parking garage. The new parking at the whole foods building is convenient but if it is raining bring your umbrella because you have to wall outside and around to the theater. The snack lines need better organization on the weekends. Use the ropes between lines because Saturday nights it's like a mob for snacks. read more

There are many condos here and more developing in the area, so it is convenient for the residents in this area. read more

I love coming here because I have the option to play games at Dave and busters go to the movies or eat pasta. Even though there's a lot of construction going on the area the parking is pretty easy on the weekends if the lot is for they have complimentary valet parking. This is a great place to have family night and enjoy with your love ones. This is the best entertainment center on the entire Island of O'ahu. read more

I like coming to Ward but the parking situation is terrible. With more and more stores closing the lack of parking is getting worse.

Housing some of my favorite places to stop by including Ward Theater, Buca Di Beppo, and Dave & Buster, the Ward Entertainment Center is a wonderful place to get entertained. You have access to watching all sorts of movies, the ability to play video games, and food. Besides these business there is a Starbucks on the first floor, along with a Ben & Jerry's, a Men's Warehouse, and several other businesses. This is definitely a place to stop by if you like watching movies and eating food. read more

Parking isn't as great because ward warehouse has been closed so basically less parking structure for the other businesses that are still there. Basically only go here for the movies or DnB and sometimes for bucca other than that there is no other reason for me to come here. read more

Went here to see a movie at the theater. The shopping center has maps all around to assist in finding stores. The shops are nice, and the area is very clean(for Honolulu). There is a 2 floor parking garage, and elevators on site. read more

Parking Valet - Besides the rip off $7 fee, the attendants rip you off further by stealing something out of the car. My son took it to valet with his date Saturday night. I never valet my vehicle bcz of the high risk it is of the attendants scratching, denting, damaging and of course stealing something. Exactly what happened at Ward. Whoever parked my son's vehicle stole a liter water bottle from the back seat of the car. Minor detail but the principle is my point in posting this review. Never valet your vehicle anywhere! Been going here since I was young. They keep it updated, it's family oriented and they have good restaurants and shopping places near by. They have a free parking garage and their restrooms are clean. It's near the Ala Moana Beach park and a convenient location for families and friends alike. read more
