You really need to coke with a huge appetite. They give you the option to do either Korean BBQ buffet only or hot pot buffet or you can do both for slightly more $. First time we were there my husband and I did both. We got the miso soup base for the broth and it was meh. It wa flavorless in my opinion. My favorite meat us beef bulgogi. Delish! You get to experience cooking your own food while eating and socialize. The second time we went my family members ordered the hot pot, Korean bbq AND sushi rolls. Wooh! This time around I got the healthy herb and it SO YUMMY! I recommend this one. I like the variety of options for meat and veggies for the Korean bbq and the hot pot. Be careful though. I'm pretty sure they brought a couple of things we did not order and they said we did. It is included since it is buffet but I believe you can get charged if you don't eat a lot of your food. First, the parking. The restaurant is in a strip mall with plenty of parking. We came here on a random Tuesday evening before 6:00PM, so we were 1 of few customers. We were immediately greeted, and pricing was explained because seating location depended on what we chose to eat: hot pot only, KBBQ only, or both. 1 was $34.99, and for both was an additional $5. We chose KBBQ. After seated, we were presented with food and drink menus, but since drinks were not included, we chose water. We can order up to 8 items, which we did, and while waiting we were directed to the sauce and appetizer/banchan area. I chose broccoli, jap chae, and salad and returned to my table. Someone was already bringing our 8 items. We had several rounds although not always 8 items each time, and eventually we were full. Our favorites were the LA galbi, beef belly, and marinated bulgogi. Some of the meats were a little tough, but that generally happens with the leaner loin beef. Our grill was swapped out multiple times without our asking, and our water cups were promptly topped off throughout the evening. Food was brought out promptly each time by either a person or a robot. Our server was putting on a show; he spoke several languages to us and made jokes, not interfering with our meal but being entertaining. We sat next to the window so were able to look out into the beautiful lagoon as our view. I don't know if there is a time limit, but we were not rushed. All employees were pleasant, not rushing. I don't eat desserts, but my dining partners enjoyed the yogurt from the machine and mango pudding. Our server recommended adding the peanut sauce and peanuts to the yogurt, which was appreciated. We don't have a lot of choices for AYCE, so I will return. I've only been here once before for hot pot and don't always remember that it's here. Amazing ambiance, and I'm grateful that there's a KBBQ + hot pot place in Foster City! However, the quality really fell short for me and my group. Let me start with the KBBQ, the brisket was shockingly lean... like scary.... No fat content AT ALL. I do not recommend. Definitely go for the beef toro and pork belly instead. Bulgogi was decent as well. My favorite was the marinated boneless short ribs! Marbled and tender. And for the hot pot... the veggies were really fresh! Loved the mushroom and tofu options... but OH MY GOD. The broth... tom yum was not good. Bland and too sour. It did have a good spicy kick to it though. Last time we went here was 4 yrs ago and I totally forgot about it coz we have moved to a new place. It was Chinese New Year and been craving for a Korean bbq AYCE style. Came back now and totally surprised that it's still around. I don't mean that it's bad but glad it was still existing is what I meant. I love the spacious setting, and they also have another room good for private events as well. Great decor and really clean. The water view is so calming and relaxing while eating. Price is very reasonable. It came to about $40-45 pp including gratuity and having both option for kbbq and hotpot. For additional $3 you can have the hotpot on top of the kbbq so why not right? One thing I like here is that the reservations not required and the Noise level was quiet, easy to talk. We came on a Sunday 12:30 and not a long wait since there's a lot of open tables. Staff are pleasant and fast too! Even though they were short on people the service was fast and I was amazed. Recommendation for vegetarians is Somewhat recommendable. When one of my relatives suggested coming to Warehouse Buffet for lunch, I got pretty excited for a whole variety of reasons. First and foremost, it's always fun to get together with the fam. What's more, I'm never going to say "no" to AYCE Korean BBQ and hot pot (which is always a good combination) and the chance to check out a place I had heard good things about. However, another underrated reason I was so happy to come here is that I have admittedly odd affinity for this complex. You never know for certain whether a restaurant's food will be good or not, but for the ones here, at least you can count on getting a pretty nice view of Foster City's lagoon! Much like Seapot in Daly City, Warehouse Buffet offers up an AYCE hot pot with the option to add on Korean BBQ for a small upcharge. However, despite their name, it's not really a buffet. Yes, they do have an area where you can load up a plate with their variety of banchan items (kimchi, fishcake, seaweed salad, etc.), sides (salad, japchae, edamame, etc.), fruits, and desserts, as well as a sauce bar for you to create your own dipping concoction. Otherwise, all of their hot pot and Korean BBQ offerings need to be marked on a menu and handed to a server for them to bring out. That being said, they've got a wide variety to choose from! Even though we came here for lunch, because it was on a weekend, the price ended up being the same as what they charge for dinner ($34.99 + $5 to also do Korean BBQ). Something to be aware of if you're looking for their lunch price ($24.99 on weekdays only), but we were fine with it since we knew ahead of time. Plus, we didn't mind getting the chance to try more of what they have to offer - ten types of hot pot broths and over sixty different meats, seafood, noodles, fishballs, and tofu along with another three dozen options on the Korean BBQ menu. Not that their lunch menu is tiny considering how it has the same ten broths, nearly fifty options for hot pot, and another two dozen more for Korean BBQ. They also have sushi rolls on a separate menu, too! Given the sheer volume of everything they have, it should come as no surprise that we were only able to try a fraction of it all. Of what I did eat, nothing was bad, but most were just okay. On the Korean BBQ side, I thought the CHADOL (Brisket), BEEF BULGOGI, and WOO BEASAL (Thinly Sliced Beef Belly) were great while the AUSTRALIAN LAMB, RIBEYE, and ANGUS BEEF were our favorites from the hot pot menu. That being said, the quality of a handful of things wasn't the greatest. Most notably, the color of the BONELESS BEEF SHORT RIBS was oddly dark, the NY STEAK was a bit pale, and the second plate of PORK BELLY we got was super fatty. Beyond the food, as well as the awesome tableside view we had of the water, the thing I liked most about Warehouse Buffet was the service. In particular, our (main) server was terrific - not only was he very friendly, but what we appreciated most was how often he came by to take our orders and how he encouraged us to stay as long as we'd like. Which was a refreshing change from how tightly other places enforce their time limits (to be fair, it was the end of their lunch hours and there was no shortage of open tables, but still). All in all, THREE AND A HALF STARS would be perfect if I could, but Warehouse Buffet is closer to three than four. Despite how often our server came by, it still felt like we had stretches were we ran out of things to either grill or drop into our pots. Definitely not, but there honestly aren't many other KBBQ restaurants in the Bay Area that's going to offer such competitive pricing like this in the post-COVID era, especially for AYCE. My friends and I arrived around 2:30pm this past Saturday and there was very little people. I've been here before at peak dinner hours and it can get quite packed and noisy so time your visit wisely. I've always appreciated the decor here, definitely a lot of thought was put into it, as well as the lake view. If there is availability, I always request to sit by the window. Restrooms are also clean and easy to find, located next to the entrance/exit. As I mentioned earlier, the meats (as well as the other appetizer options) weren't amazing quality but you get what you pay for! They're tasty and marinated enough, and I always enjoy my meal here. My favorite is the spicy samgyeopsal. Sauce and appetizer station and desserts were well stocked. Plenty of options for every diner. Frequent grill changes which was appreciated. This time around, the chicken bulgogi took a bit longer to come out - we had to ask a couple times for it and when it finally arrived, the taste was inconsistent between orders. We also received random meats that we didn't order and we weren't sure what they were. Seemed like the staff was a bit unsure too. We don't have any food allergies and cooked them anyway so not a huge deal. At this time, it wasn't that busy still so better coordination here would be nice. I decided to come here for my birthday, and it was very mid. I came with a party of 12, and they informed me that the largest tables they have can only accommodate 6 people. Each table also only has one grill, which is inconvenient. My party was split into two, so I spent time running between both of them as the host. The service was incredibly mid, we had to ask multiple times for things like refills and enough cutlery. When my boyfriend spilled his margarita, he called someone over to help clean it up but they took so long that he cleaned it up himself. When they finally arrived, they reached over to take the glass off the table... Just to end up spilling his water all over the table. There was one happy Asian male server that took photos for us and who was very cheery, he was a bright spot. I didn't tip anything more than the mandatory 15% service fee for larger parties. The meat quality was also not good enough to negate the aforementioned pitfalls. They are not decent quality, the marinated boneless short ribs were the fattiest on the menu and most pleasing so we went with that for the majority of our orders. The hot pot vegetables were quite good and I was satisfied with my sukiyaki broth, it wasn't too sweet or too salty for my liking. The sauce bar is pretty decent, they have a soft serve ice cream machine where the consistency is grainy and not creamy at all. It could potentially be satisfying if you picked a spicy broth, but I doubt that there is any real dairy involved in it. They have fruit slices that are good and some cake slices that are really dried out from being left outside all day long. Don't recommend. I would probably give this three stars on a good day, but I brought my friends here on my birthday and I was sorely disappointed. Hot pot + bbq combo for extra $5 per person. Hot pot: 7 of us got different broths and most were satisfied but Thai pot was a little bland. Meat, seafood, and veggies were all fresh. Bbq: NONE of the meat were marinated or had any seasonings!!! It was SO weird to grill plain meats especially for KOREAN bbq!!! We regretted adding bbq so much. Aaahhh this was such a wonderful experience for me and my family! We did the AYCE hotpot, and everything was delicious. This was our first time trying individual pots, which was fun. We ordered the pork broth, tomyum soup, the herbal soup, and a water-based soup. I was bummed that they didn't offer a completely vegetarian soup (or maybe our server was unaware?). We got to make our own sauces in a buffet-style set up. I usually put satay sauce in mine, but they didn't have that. My sauce was still yummy though! We ordered a ton of pork belly, lamb, beef belly, fish, tripe, ribeye, and clams, as well as veggies and noodles. The only thing that I wasn't a huge fan of was the ribeye. Our server was wonderful! He sang beautifully, brought a little dessert for the birthday girl, and chatted it up with us in different Chinese dialects! Came here as a large company party during lunch time as a Korean BBQ option. Upon first impression, the place is spacious and clean. There are two entrances, main and the one towards the restrooms. There is ocean water side view and these spots get occupied first upon opening. Restrooms are clean and spacious. For Korean BBQ, the grills don't cook quickly so it will take some time before eating. There are a wide selection of meats to choose from but quality varies. The fattiness of the pork is almost 50/50 fat to meat ratio (which my group used to grease the grill plate to prevent sticking). Some beef options had too much gristle and required much jaw action. There wasn't much banchan option with the meat besides kimchi, japchae, fish cake salad, and lettuce. Someone mentioned the kimchi tasted like it was from Costco. For the salad bar, options were not vast and not very tasty. The yogurt dispenser was more like sorbet. The fruit wasn't very refreshing and the baked desserts were meh. The rest of the salad bar was mostly condiments for hot pot. In comparisons for buffers, I think it is average as I have not gone to one in a very long time. They're definitely using the same meat for both. The beef tasted really thick and difficult to chew at times. The color of the raw meat also seemed wrong. It came to our table as a brown color. The server explained that it was because it was marinated but I've had marinated meat at other places and it was definitely not this color. I will say the price for All You Can Eat is only $32, which is a lot better than some places but there's good reason for that. Good variety of options for DIY sauces, side dishes, and you can select 10 items for lunch. We have been to a few Hot Pot/KBBQ Restaurants with better meat quality and cheaper price. KBBQ: 3.5 Stars La Galbi Marinated Beef Short Ribs) were very fatty. Beef Bulgogi had good flavor not as much fat as the Short Ribs. Spicy Salmon, not spicy at all was good and same for the Spicy Baby Octopus. Hot Pot: 4 Stars Mushroom/Tomato/Miso, 3 separate soup base. They all tasted good. I especially liked the mushroom soup base, I added Shiitake Mushroom, Green Onion, Cilantro, Garlic, Sesame & Chili Oil, and Soy Sauce, with the meat boiling in it I didn't need additional sauce, it was so flavorful. Rib Eye and Beef Toro was good. Angus Beef was a little tough. Fish Filet went great with my mushroom soup concoction. Lobster Balls were good and the Beef Balls had a flavor I didn't like. Extremely rude front desk person (you'll know who it is when you arrive), slow service even on a not so busy day (probably understaffed), food quality barely passable -- meat quality on the lower end. After sitting down and ordering, it took almost half hour for our order to come out, and that is even after being served someone else's order and ended up almost doubling the food. But why is that bad you ask? The front desk person comes over and informs us that we had to make sure we eat everything or else they would charge us for left over... before we even put a bite of food into our mouths. They turned their mistake into a threat to a customer. Had dinner with my family today--our first visit back in two years. I immediately noticed that the interior had been redesigned, which was a nice touch. However, the overall experience left much to be desired. When we arrived, the person at the register wasn't welcoming at all. He didn't smile, didn't acknowledge us promptly, and kept his eyes on his computer while my mother--who is in a wheelchair--and I waited for a response. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. Being a Saturday, the restaurant was understandably busy, and there seemed to be enough staff on the floor. What stood out, though, was a clear divide in work ethic. The Mexican servers were hustling--cleaning, serving, checking on customers constantly. In contrast, the Chinese/Korean staff appeared disengaged, walking around aimlessly, avoiding eye contact, and not responding to customers who clearly needed help. To top it off, the same person from the register--possibly the manager--was later seen sitting and chatting with a customer instead of overseeing operations. It was disappointing to witness such a lack of coordination and professionalism. To whoever manages this establishment: please take a closer look at your team and how the floor is being run. All you can eat Korean BBQ and Hot Pot all in one place with a waterfront view. Beautiful setting, delicious food, and decent prices. In this underutilized mall, which has an abundance of parking spaces, you'll find three main crowd pleasers including the grocery story, a pizza/hookah bar and Warehouse Buffet in addition to a few small shops. If you're coming with a group, make sure to coordinate so y'all can get seated together - otherwise, you may need to wait for your whole party to arrive. Due to being located so close to the highway and bridge, Warehouse is easily accessible from all parts of the bay. Wherever your party is coming from, you'll have a spot for this buffet! We came on a Sunday early for dinner and it was relatively quiet until around the time we left during the peak hour (7pm). There were tables all along the big glass windows facing the waterfront as well as booths just a few feet away. There was a lot of natural lighting coming in and the place looked relatively clean. For pricing, it's a set price for adults for either BBQ or hotpot and an additional $5 to include both. Children prices are reduced significantly. They do indicate there's a time limit but I don't think they actively enforce it unless it's egregious. When we were seated, we were somewhat oriented about how ordering worked. They give you a menu with a dry erase marker where you can mark the items you want. Each round was limited to only 8 items (it was not clear why it was set at that number despite us having a party of 6). As expected, we ended up ordering additional rounds pretty quickly between sets. We were also offered waters, however as we noticed during the meal service, they don't do a great job at refilling them. One thing they probably could have done during the orientation was let us know about the butter available at the appetizer bar. That would have helped our first round of meats but fortunately we started with some fatty pork belly. At the appetizer bar, there were a variety of snacks and cold items including edamame, fish cakes, pickled cucumbers, kimchi, lettuce, roasted peanuts, japchae (glass noodles), and sauces. Next to the appetizer bar, you'll find the desserts which include the soft serve, cakes, fruits, and pudding. These were great to top off the big meal but the main event was definitely the choices of meats available for the BBQ. We primarily came here for the Korean BBQ and were pleased with the variety and quality of items available for the grill. We ordered a few New York steaks that turned out pretty decent but the favorites of the table were the galbi (short ribs) and bulgogi (marinated shredded beef). We also ventured into their seafood (like fish filet, squid, octopus, mussels, shrimp, clams) which seemed pretty fresh as well. The pork options were also very good. As we cooked, the staff do come by to change out the grill every so often and to adjust the temperature if needed. They'll also collect plates relatively quickly and as long as you make it known that you have more to order, they'll put them in pretty quick too. Overall, dining at Warehouse Buffet was a decent experience mainly due to the atmosphere and food. Impressive lunch option I was just expecting a KBBQ place but was surprised to see hotpot option as well. We did the KBBQ option for 2 people (my 2 year old daughter was free which was nice) and it was ok. Pork belly was surprisingly tough, i did like the bulgogi and spicy pork however. I wish they had kalbi ribs as an option for lunch buffet though. the meats were overall pretty tough despite the fat content. I enjoyed the self serve station with the pickled radish discs and pickled cucumber and kimchi and japchae. My daughter enjoyed the mango jello they had. Service was frequent for changing the grill and plates. Atmosphere was a little sticky however the decor was very Asian-wedding worthy. Bathroom was clean. Food: amazing tasty food. Meats were really fresh and extremely well seasoned. I thoroughly enjoyed their beef belly cuts, beef bulgogi (which is typically not my fave), chadol, and the spicy pork bulgogi. Their pork belly cuts were super good too - the slices came thin which I was surprised to find preferable to thicker cuts because they cooked faster. But what really stole my heart (or my stomach) was their bar that offered freshly cooked japchae, banchan (their cucumber kimchi was amazing btw, and I love the bottomless fish cakes). You could also grab veggies, sauces, fruits, and cakes from this bar. And they had soft serve machine, if you still have room for it at the end of your meal. Price: as of Aug 2024, KBBQ Dinner (Dine-in) was $32.99 per adult. Service: staff was nice but service was a bit slow. But the upside was they weren't rushing us. I came here to celebrate a friend's birthday, and the location definitely added to the experience--right by the water in Foster City, which gave it a nice, scenic touch. This spot offers your standard KBBQ setup, complete with a sauce bar and dessert options to round out the meal. While the food was solid and the atmosphere lively, I was a bit disappointed to find they were out of vanilla ice cream during our visit. They're located by the water so they have amazing view. Truly beautiful but unfortunately because we were 5 people so we couldn't sit by the window, which is ok. Service was really good, the staff were really nice and assisted us with what we needed. Unfortunately, after we ordered, they did not actually bring the items that we ordered. Firstly, we ordered enoki but instead got different kind of mushroom that tastes absolutely terrible. Secondly, I'm unsure if we ordered garlic fries but what came to us was just regular fries. And god knows what else they didn't bring accordingly. Now the quality of meat. The meat quality is absolutely terrible. Let it be from the freshness of it or from the cut of the meat. I ordered pork cheek and I can taste the freezer burn and staleness of the fat. The pork belly was too thin almost like a bland bacon (and stale as well), not the kind you would put for kbbq. The short ribs is mostly fat. The squid was already slimy and smelly. The veggies does not look fresh, meat was clearly low quality and badly seasoned. . The only good items are the popcorn chicken and cumin lamb (even this was bad cut, but this was the most flavorful out of all). There's this arrogant lady, maybe the owner or manager, roaming around and telling us how to cook (not in a good way). She was also reminding everybody (she visited every table) that we'll get charged if we ordered too much, which feels unnecessary because we are still eating and we literally told them we're done ordering. Lastly, they automatically charged us 15% tip for 5 people AND still asking for more tip at the end. I get it, it's just the culture, but it's almost getting out of hand these days. read more

An Asian buffet offering either Korean style BBQ or hot pot. The restaurant is divided into half so one can choose between them. For a lunch price of $22, it can't be beat. I prefer their KBBQ. Their Woo Beasal (beef belly) and Spicy Samgyeopsal, marinated pork belly is the best. They also have sushi and sushi rolls for an additional price, but the buffet includes small cakes, kimchi, miso soup, noodles, watermelon, mango pudding, and soft serve ice cream. The staff are very attentive, the food is brought out really fast (one marks the menu to order), and they frequently change the grill. My family and I visited Warehouse Buffet over the weekend for dinner. The restaurant looks very classy with nice art and decore pieces at the entrance and bar section. We selected the Korean bbq option and for seated right away. The meat selections were elaborate. The sauces are good. We ordered a variety of meats. Spicy chicken was very good. Rest were decent. They kept replacing the grill plate often. I liked the peanuts, japche, kimchi, soup and dips from the sides. A good family experience. Some meats were not so tasty.
