Mixed soft serve ice cream! Jello was good!

This place is decent for all you can eat hotpot and Korean bbq for the price of $34.99 each person and additional for the combo for both. It was worth it when you can eat past at least 3 rounds . Appetizers included: Garlic fries, potstickers , popcorn chicken was nicely crispy . I really like the eggrolls too! Favorite meat: Galbi beef short ribs, my steak, beef bulgogi! -tender and good with sauces The hotpot was good! I had the Tom yum base for the soup added beef Toro, shrimp, quail eggs, enoki mushrooms, vegetables with udon first round and instant ramen noodles the next round . Love the variety! The fact that they had the desserts and sauces bar was a great complimentary along with the combo all you can eat Korean bbq and hotpot. The waterfront view was a plus! Busy on a Saturday with parking lot completely packed in the same plaza.

Amazing ambiance, and I'm grateful that there's a KBBQ + hot pot place in Foster City! However, the quality really fell short for me and my group. Let me start with the KBBQ, the brisket was shockingly lean... like scary.... No fat content AT ALL. I do not recommend. Definitely go for the beef toro and pork belly instead. Bulgogi was decent as well. My favorite was the marinated boneless short ribs! Marbled and tender. And for the hot pot... the veggies were really fresh! Loved the mushroom and tofu options... but OH MY GOD. The broth... tom yum was not good. Bland and too sour. It did have a good spicy kick to it though. The "broth refills" also looked like straight up water... scary once again. FYI - The biggest tables they have are for 8 people!

When one of my relatives suggested coming to Warehouse Buffet for lunch, I got pretty excited for a whole variety of reasons. First and foremost, it's always fun to get together with the fam. What's more, I'm never going to say "no" to AYCE Korean BBQ and hot pot (which is always a good combination) and the chance to check out a place I had heard good things about. However, another underrated reason I was so happy to come here is that I have admittedly odd affinity for this complex. You never know for certain whether a restaurant's food will be good or not, but for the ones here, at least you can count on getting a pretty nice view of Foster City's lagoon! Much like Seapot in Daly City, Warehouse Buffet offers up an AYCE hot pot with the option to add on Korean BBQ for a small upcharge. However, despite their name, it's not really a buffet. Yes, they do have an area where you can load up a plate with their variety of banchan items (kimchi, fishcake, seaweed salad, etc.), sides (salad, japchae, edamame, etc.), fruits, and desserts, as well as a sauce bar for you to create your own dipping concoction. Otherwise, all of their hot pot and Korean BBQ offerings need to be marked on a menu and handed to a server for them to bring out. That being said, they've got a wide variety to choose from! Even though we came here for lunch, because it was on a weekend, the price ended up being the same as what they charge for dinner ($34.99 + $5 to also do Korean BBQ). Something to be aware of if you're looking for their lunch price ($24.99 on weekdays only), but we were fine with it since we knew ahead of time. Plus, we didn't mind getting the chance to try more of what they have to offer - ten types of hot pot broths and over sixty different meats, seafood, noodles, fishballs, and tofu along with another three dozen options on the Korean BBQ menu. Not that their lunch menu is tiny considering how it has the same ten broths, nearly fifty options for hot pot, and another two dozen more for Korean BBQ. They also have sushi rolls on a separate menu, too! Given the sheer volume of everything they have, it should come as no surprise that we were only able to try a fraction of it all. Of what I did eat, nothing was bad, but most were just okay. On the Korean BBQ side, I thought the CHADOL (Brisket), BEEF BULGOGI, and WOO BEASAL (Thinly Sliced Beef Belly) were great while the AUSTRALIAN LAMB, RIBEYE, and ANGUS BEEF were our favorites from the hot pot menu. That being said, the quality of a handful of things wasn't the greatest. Most notably, the color of the BONELESS BEEF SHORT RIBS was oddly dark, the NY STEAK was a bit pale, and the second plate of PORK BELLY we got was super fatty. Beyond the food, as well as the awesome tableside view we had of the water, the thing I liked most about Warehouse Buffet was the service. In particular, our (main) server was terrific - not only was he very friendly, but what we appreciated most was how often he came by to take our orders and how he encouraged us to stay as long as we'd like. Which was a refreshing change from how tightly other places enforce their time limits (to be fair, it was the end of their lunch hours and there was no shortage of open tables, but still). All in all, THREE AND A HALF STARS would be perfect if I could, but Warehouse Buffet is closer to three than four. Despite how often our server came by, it still felt like we had stretches were we ran out of things to either grill or drop into our pots. If they had a belt or a station to grab hot pot items on our own, this would probably four stars instead. Either way, at least the view was awesome!

This restaurant, located beside the most beautiful inland lake in the Bay Area, offers a clean and atmospheric environment both inside and out. Inside the restaurant, there are private dining rooms, all-you-can-eat barbecue, and all-you-can-eat hot pot. There are also large televisions and a bar area, which are especially popular with Americans who enjoy watching sports and drinking. In terms of food, the meat options included in the all-you-can-eat menu are not particularly outstanding. The meats available for an additional charge may offer better texture and taste. However, overall, the barbecue and hot pot selections, including both vegetables and meats, are above average compared to the general market. The price is also very reasonable. Lunch all-you-can-eat is under $25 per person, and dinner is under $30 per person. The staff are friendly and helpful. Combined with the quality of the food and the surrounding atmosphere, dining here while enjoying the scenic inland views of Foster City is something I highly recommend to food lovers in the Bay Area.

This is for the KBBQ dining option: are you going to get super high quality meats here for $35? Definitely not, but there honestly aren't many other KBBQ restaurants in the Bay Area that's going to offer such competitive pricing like this in the post-COVID era, especially for AYCE. My friends and I arrived around 2:30pm this past Saturday and there was very little people. I've been here before at peak dinner hours and it can get quite packed and noisy so time your visit wisely. I've always appreciated the decor here, definitely a lot of thought was put into it, as well as the lake view. If there is availability, I always request to sit by the window. Restrooms are also clean and easy to find, located next to the entrance/exit. As I mentioned earlier, the meats (as well as the other appetizer options) weren't amazing quality but you get what you pay for! They're tasty and marinated enough, and I always enjoy my meal here. My favorite is the spicy samgyeopsal. Sauce and appetizer station and desserts were well stocked. Plenty of options for every diner. Frequent grill changes which was appreciated. This time around, the chicken bulgogi took a bit longer to come out - we had to ask a couple times for it and when it finally arrived, the taste was inconsistent between orders. We also received random meats that we didn't order and we weren't sure what they were. Seemed like the staff was a bit unsure too. We don't have any food allergies and cooked them anyway so not a huge deal. At this time, it wasn't that busy still so better coordination here would be nice. Overall, a positive dining experience with speedy and friendly service. Will continue to come here for my AYCE KBBQ fix!

Aaahhh this was such a wonderful experience for me and my family! We did the AYCE hotpot, and everything was delicious. This was our first time trying individual pots, which was fun. We ordered the pork broth, tomyum soup, the herbal soup, and a water-based soup. I was bummed that they didn't offer a completely vegetarian soup (or maybe our server was unaware?). We got to make our own sauces in a buffet-style set up. I usually put satay sauce in mine, but they didn't have that. My sauce was still yummy though! We ordered a ton of pork belly, lamb, beef belly, fish, tripe, ribeye, and clams, as well as veggies and noodles. The only thing that I wasn't a huge fan of was the ribeye. Our server was wonderful! He sang beautifully, brought a little dessert for the birthday girl, and chatted it up with us in different Chinese dialects! He didn't seem to be very knowledgeable about vegetarian accommodations, but he made an effort. I would highly recommend this restaurant for birthdays--it's FREE! Just make sure you bring ID.

$23.99 for AYCE! SAY LESS! I came here on a weekday with no wait. When we sat down, they asked what kind of broth, veggies and meats we wanted. They have a condiment bar where you can create your own sauce! They also have fruits and desserts. As you're eating, you get to look out to a lake. Sometimes you'll see someone rowing on the lake.

    Claire C.

The meat here did not seem fresh and it was a very average KBBQ experience. They also have both hotpot and BBQ option, which is a bit suspicious in my opinion. They're definitely using the same meat for both. The beef tasted really thick and difficult to chew at times. The color of the raw meat also seemed wrong. It came to our table as a brown color. The server explained that it was because it was marinated but I've had marinated meat at other places and it was definitely not this color. I will say the price for All You Can Eat is only $32, which is a lot better than some places but there's good reason for that. If you're really hungry for KBBQ, come here for a mediocre time but don't expect high quality service or food.

Nice service and it's a good deal if you are hungry. Beautiful waterfront views. The food is decent for All You Can Eat. Good variety of options for DIY sauces, side dishes, and you can select 10 items for lunch. I wish the veggie and tofu combo listed what it comes with on the menu so we wouldn't have wasted some of our selections on duplicate items. The herbal broth, miso broth, and pork bone broth were all tasty. We were offered soup refilled many times, which was a sign of the great service. Seniors are 20% off and kids are half off.

My only complaint is with the toast for the bone marrow. It needed to be toasted longer. It wasn't crispy or hot. But the bone marrow was excellent! Wagyu nigiri was good too but I would go for the bone marrow if given the choice between the two. And Wagyu tartare was not an option when we dined. We got: -Tom yum & creamy tomato soup -wagyu beef chuck eye roll, prime angus short and beef short ribs & New Zealand lamb -fish ball with roe, spam, & corn + it came with other veggies -udon noodle & house noodle and the food came out pretty quick. The side/sauces are on a cart and they have recommendations on which sauces to combine which is helpful. The soup was flavorful and tasty. The tom yum was not spicy (maybe cause my tolerance for spice is high). The meats were good too. Service was great and they came to refill out water and soup a few times. Then we paid via the phone on the QR code. There is a large parking lot and two restroom stalls for the women's restroom. I would come back here again!

Great hot pot experience, I enjoyed the combo meal menu structure…read more I got the wagyu chuck with sukiyaki broth, fish fillet, and fish balls with roe. The combo also comes with a veggie platter and rice or noodles. Lots of fun to have your own personal hot pot and be able to customize your own individual broth and ingredients. Really clean restaurant and speedy service, my only note is that it was a bit pricy for the amount of meat that you get (especially compared to malatang or AYCE spots), but the quality did make up for it.

Everyone opted for the all-you-can-eat option, and we chose three delicious broth bases: classic plain, sour cabbage, and spicy--each one perfectly balanced and full of depth. The ingredients were top-notch: tender Angus beef, flavorful short ribs, succulent lamb slices, silky frozen tofu, and an abundance of fresh vegetables. Everything arrived fresh and high-quality, resulting in pure hot pot bliss. the sweets were also fantastic: the fried mantou+ condensed milk and the ciba were awesome! Despite the restaurant being packed, the service was attentive, and friendly. A huge kudos to the entire team! Happy Lamb delivers brilliant food, exceptional service, and a lively, welcoming ambience. We've been loyal customers (even back when it was Little Sheep) for 15 years and always look forward to coming back! Highly recommended--5 stars!

TL;DR: Busy but well-stocked Malatang spot with a large ingredient selection, a solid sauce bar,…read moreand plenty of fruit options. The customizable experience and quick service make it a place I would gladly return to. ---------- Full review: This Malatang place gets pretty busy. I happened to visit while there was a farmers market taking place on the adjacent street, which likely added to the crowds. Despite that, the ingredient selection was absolutely stocked with all of the essentials and plenty of options to choose from. I honestly had a field day filling up my bowl. Once you are done selecting everything, you bring your bowl to the front where they weigh it and charge you based on the total weight. One thing that was a little different from other Malatang places I have been to was that they had customers pay at the end rather than at the beginning. After weighing your bowl, they give you a small numbered keychain that almost feels like wearing a bracelet. The food actually came out pretty quickly, and once it arrived you hand the keychain back to confirm it is the correct order. I also really liked the fruit selection they had available, and the sauce bar was pretty well stocked with plenty of choices. Overall, this felt like a nice fast-casual spot that I thoroughly enjoyed. Between the large ingredient selection and the overall experience, I would definitely come back to this location.

It was noticeably less crowded and a bit nicer overall. We came around 6pm and were in and out by about 7:15pm with no wait to sit, whereas the Berkeley location can easily be a 1+ hour wait on a weekend night at 7pm. They had all the same soup broths and sauce bar options, but even more toppings than I've seen at Berkeley, which made it even better. Everything was super fresh and flavorful. What I love most is how customizable everything is -- you build your bowl exactly how you want it, from toppings and portions of each. They weigh your bowl before adding broth and charge by the pound, so you only pay for what you pick, which I love. The sauce bar is elite with so many options to build your perfect dipping sauce. I'm genuinely addicted at this point. Also love that it's not AYCE, so you can take leftovers home -- and it somehow still tastes just as good the next day. Plus, there are tons of dessert spots nearby, which makes it perfect for a post-dinner treat. Overall, I already can't wait to come back.

Specially during cold evenings and it's just the perfect weather for some hotpot. It is clean and well managed and maintained. The manager and the staff have always been friendly and accommodating. This explains why the restaurant is empty at prime time. I should have taken a picture of my food. The beef was not fresh. The plate of vegetables was quite pathetic. I asked if they have spinach and of course no. There was ONE piece of bokchoy on the plate. The rest of just the end of the cabbage, only the hard part. I got the spicy miso broth. It was so water down. I had to add in other sauces to give it some taste. I sat at the end of the bar next to the kitchen. There was such a bad smell that was coming from that way but I could not pin point what it was. I was there for less than 25 mins. I asked for a Togo box and took the rest Togo since I paid $30 plus tip for it. Although this place is convenient, however I would never step foot back here again.

FOOD: We ordered the Spicy Garlic Pepper Rice (added egg and cheese) & the Garlic Pepper Rice (added crispy onions and cheese) both dishes super solid choices! The spicy garlic actually had a nice kick to it. The ratio between the meat, rice and toppings was actually perfect too! They also have extra condiments available on the table (garlic shoyu and teriyaki sauce) if you wanted to add more flavor. Portions are generous sizes and we were able to take our leftovers home. SERVICE: Super quick and easy! Once seated, you order through the QR code on the table. Our food came out fairly quickly and staff members were attentive. AMBIANCE: Restaurant is fairly spaced out! Most tables are set for parties of 4 but loved how I didn't feel too cramped while seated. PARKING: Parking is super easy since they have a parking lot! Would visit again since we love the food :)
