The pork was tender and flavorful. the lindzer torte is buttery, sweet, tart, delicate, and just hit the spot. And if you like vanilla cheesecake they have the best I've ever had! I had lunch at Warehouse Gourmet Bistro & Brewpub and overall enjoyed the food and beer, though there were a few things that kept the experience from being better. We sat upstairs in the brewpub area. We would have preferred a regular table, but it seemed like they really wanted to seat us at a high-top. I didn't feel like pushing back, so we took it. I assumed maybe they were trying to keep the four-top regular tables open, but by the time we left, the high-tops were full and the regular tables were still empty. Maybe there was a reason for it, but it made the seating feel a little odd. For food, I split the meatball appetizer and the tarragon chicken salad sandwich with another person. Both were good. The meatballs were golf-ball sized and served in a small skillet of marinara with two slices of bread. No complaints on taste or quality. The sandwich was also solid and about what I expected from the menu. That said, the pricing felt a little high for what we got. The sandwich was $14 and did not include a side, and the four-meatball appetizer was also $14. Again, the food was good, but it was definitely on the pricier side. I also had the cream ale and the blonde ale. I don't remember the exact prices, but they seemed in line with the styles and I enjoyed both. My biggest complaint was the 3.99% credit card surcharge. That seems steep, especially at a restaurant where lunch can already add up quickly and most people probably aren't carrying enough cash to cover a full meal. To their credit, there was ample signage about the surcharge, so it was not a surprise at checkout. Still, at this price point, adding nearly 4% for using a card left a bad impression. Without the surcharge, this probably would have been a 4-star experience for me. The food and beer were good, and I did not have any real complaint about the quality. But the surcharge, combined with the slightly odd seating experience and higher prices, brings the overall visit down to 3 stars. Overall, I'd consider going back, but the seating experience and credit card surcharge would make me think twice. read more

A super mixed experience here. Came by on a Friday evening and was seated very quickly. Our server was a nice person and treated us really well! I didn't get any drinks, but my friends really enjoyed the beers here. Food was not the best. I personally enjoyed my coconut curry chicken, but my friends weren't impressed with their food, notably the sourdough bread on the sandwiches and the chicken pot pie being particularly unimpressive. If you come, stay clear of the sourdough and pot pie but the beer is good! read more

Emily was our server. Very polite and attentive. I got the screaming peacock Porter, which was flavorful followed by the leggy blonde ale, which was OK. My wife and I shared the old Bay flavored cream of crab soup, which was fantastic. My beef stroganoff was hearty and flavorful. My wife got an open face tuna melt which she enjoyed a lot. I had a great experience! A girlfriend of mine and I met up here to catch up. We sat in the little wall booth cubbyhole. It was such a great spot to get to have a private conversation with a friend. It's an amazingly unique spot. You could miss it if you didn't keep your eyes peeled. The food is simple overall but delicious. They have something for everything from catching up with a friend to a first date meal. The menu has a lot to offer. The service and decor are both wonderful. My husband and I came here for date night. The building is old and refurbished and beautiful. We ordered the goat cheese apple pecan salads, the cayenne butter bread, the sausage and meatballs with burrata and the pan roasted salmon. We also had the linzer cookies, chocolate mousse, and frozen key lime pie. All of the food was delicious. Especially the salmon. A date wanted to go here so we gave it a try. The outside is beautiful, looks like an old warehouse. There's an upstairs and a downstairs, we were seated downstairs. The tables especially the 2 seater tables are very small and the tables are placed too close to each other. We basically were on a date with the couple next to us, we were that close. Not sure how the upstairs is. The beer is okay and the food is just average. For the price and the fancy technique of the way the dishes are presented I was expecting better. I'm willing to give this place another try, maybe it's just not for me but I'll come back and try them again. Maybe just stick with the soup and sandwich option next time. read more

This is a fantastic restaurant that Hanover REALLY needed. I love the ambiance and menu selections. It is in a weird unassuming nook by the railroad tracks next to a shady dive bar (not the fun kind) which is so odd. Walking in you are transported to a whole new environment; it is almost like you have escaped Hanover for an evening. The decor is stunning and very comfortable. Ate there today. Beef Bourguignon was overcooked dry cubes of meat covered with sauce. The salad was nice, but everything else was extremely over-seasoned or flavored. The Giant Food Store used to have something very similar but not overcooked and not over-flavored, and cost a LOT LESS. Stopped here for lunch with the mom and we got a cozy table in a NOOK around the corner on the first floor (ask for the nook if you are a table of two and it's available!) Warehouse GB&B is one of those places where I literally want to sample the entire menu. We both started with soup. I got the spicy tomato & chickpea special, which was decent but not very spicy. Mom got the french onion. The cheesy bread crouton on top was so hard she had to cut it with a fork and knife. So they need to work on that. I got the chicken curry wrap and it was SO GOOD! Be aware if you want a side, it's extra. But since I got the soup I left hungry. I'm never in this area but if I would find myself around agian, I would want to return. read more

Really was looking forward to this place but food was very subpar. I had the baked Brie and the chicken curry. Both was just alright but flavors were not super memorable. I also wish the bread for the baked Brie was warmed if not slightly toasted because it's just a cold floppy piece of bread. Someone at my table got the stuffed mushrooms. Although the flavors were good the word stuffed was not the way the presentation came through. It was more deconstructed and for the side 4 small pieces of broccoli were a bit embarrassing to label a "side". We stumbled across this place when we had attempted to go to two other places which both had 1hr+ wait. Thanks to Yelp we found Warehouse. The dining and pub are small yet unique. The old building and small details makes this place really cool. The food I got was delicious! I don't think I've had that much crab meat in crab soup before! The mussels were perfect! Not sandy and the sauce was delicious! My husband had the hot beef which he liked. We are not into craft beers so this may not be a valid opinion, but we were not all that fond of the beers. But again, take that with a grain of salt. I'd definitely come back for the soup alone! read more

We had a great time visiting Warehouse Gourmet Bistro during an early November 2020 visit to the area. It was the best restaurant we found in Hanover. Johnny, the upstairs bartender on the Friday night we stopped in, took great care of us. He was very welcoming, offered some great conversation and even shared some of the history of the unique building and general area. The service was outstanding. Equally impressive was the food. I had the crab cake entry which was very good, although the accompanying mashed potatoes were just average. My partner had a pesto chicken special that he absolutely loved. He also had the potato-chip encrusted chicken appetizer that he is STILL raving about weeks later. For ambiance, great service with personality, and a delicious menu, you simply won't go wrong with Warehouse Bistro. My only suggestion to the kitchen: expand your dessert menu. I would have liked more options. If I am ever in the area again, Warehouse Bistro is at the top of my list for dining destinations. read more

What a gem of eatery! On a business trip to the area, we were pleasantly impressed by the ambience and the quality of the food and the cordiality of the staff. Shout out to Logan upstairs, and Marie in the dining room. We actually ate here two nights in a row. My first night, as a group we had the chicken tender as appetizer and I had the meatloaf. Delicious. The second night, the brie and almonds as an appetizer and for dinner we loaded up on the Street Tacos (carnitas, salmon and grass fed beef). We very happy with food and the cost. This is gem definitely on my list when I return to the area. I hope the community supports this local restaurant and forego the chain options. read more

Found out about this place from my physical therapist. So glad I did. We went on Saturday afternoon at around 4:30 and were surprised to find a full parking lot. We had to wait a while for a table - there's additional seating upstairs but my wife couldn't do the climb. It's an old factory building that's been converted - always seem to feel more comfortable dining in those kind of places. My wife tried out a new-for-her wine that she really liked, and I had a nice dark stout beer. Then she had French onion soup and a turkey/Brie/cranberry sandwich, and I had a bowl of cream of crab soup and a salad with just about the whole vegetable garden in it, topped with optional lightly cooked tuna chunks and a great vinaigrette dressing. All were among the best we've had, but the crowning gem was cheesecake with strawberries - maybe the best cheesecake either of us have ever had. We can't wait to go back. Based on our experience it might be a good thing to wait until 6:30 or 7:00 - the dining room was clearing out pretty quickly by then. read more

I'm not a beer drinker. So I was a little hesitant on trying this style place. It has a traditional craft beer food menu with a few things that drew my attention. The atmosphere of course is a laid back feel in a warehouse. I enjoyed what I ordered. Everything was made fresh with non commercial flavor. Service was great considering we had a late seating.
