I first requested a quote in late December before I even had a new apartment lined up. Their online tool made it easy to get an initial estimate without an in‑home visit, and Dasha (and sometimes Lilith) answered all my questions over the following weeks. A month later, when I was ready for an in‑person assessment, they honored my original quote even though my inventory had changed (many more smaller boxes, one less big piece of furniture). They visited on a Thursday and scheduled pickup for the next Tuesday. A team of three loaded everything in under two hours (right after Winter Storm Fern). I arrived in Seattle on Saturday, and the driver called 15 minutes after I had picked up my keys from the leasing office (I am not kidding). Despite my building having no loading dock, he found a workable spot, unloaded everything, and rebuilt my furniture solo in about 4.5 hours total. The original delivery window was up to two weeks, so four days was beyond anything I expected. I'm incredibly impressed and highly recommend DC Moving Inc for long‑distance moves.

There were also personal items and important papers in that bag. They sent 2 guys but only one of them worked. The other one, Authur, followed me around telling me about his dating life and asking me personal questions. I asked him, don't you have something you could be moving, he said no, this is part of the plan. Part of the plan to rip me off and charge double. On top of not working and dragging the job out, they also charged me an extra hour at the end. They spent that time on their cell phones while I moved stuff, and then they charged me for that whole hour saying they only charge for whole hours. BIGGEST RIP OFF OF MY LIFE. FILTHY LOW LIFE SCUM.
