My husband has been wanting to try Craftburger out and I'm always up for hanging out on 25th Street so the other day we finally went. It's located where Bistro 258 used to be, and it still has all the charm I always enjoyed from the cool old building. They have changed it a little for the better, it's more open but still has all the brick that I love. We were seated and sat without any acknowledgement at all for about 10 minutes before the bartender noticed and helped us out. My husband ordered the Morning Glory burger (burger with fried egg) and I ordered the Cheesy Pig burger (bacon burger). There were a few mix ups with my order but I made do with some and others the bartender quickly fixed. He even offered to comp one of the burgers, which was super nice but we wouldn't let him. If you are in the mood for a big juicy tasty burger than Warren Craft Burger is the place for you. Craft Burger just opened this weekend and we were anxious to give them a try and we are glad we did. We stopped in for lunch on their second day open and ordered up a couple of burgers. I got what I believe was called the Craft Burger, basically and BBQ Bacon Burger, the wife got the Morning Glory which had bacon, egg and chipolte ketchup. The burgers were 1/2 pound each and were juicy and flavorful. Neither of us are big on veggies on our burger so we had them leave off the caramelized onions and the spring mix lettuce from our burgers. Burgers do not come with anything so you have to order up a side. I ordered the Steak Fries the wife, at my request, ordered the English Chips. The steak fries were thick cut slabs of potato cooked as expected, the English Chips were big fluffy potato pillows (a bit on the oily side) but good. Having to buy the sides separately was one of our least favorite things about Craft burger, my fries added $3.00 and the English Chips $4.50...we could have opted for homemade potato chips @ 2.00 but I would prefer at least the chips came by default. To go along with the fries are numerous sauce options. Our waitress struggled to tell us what all the options were explaining that a couple days earlier their were 4 options and today there are 20, so obviously the sauces are a work in progress. We tried the Chipolte Ketchup, Pineapple Ketchup, Balsamic Ketchup, a mustard based sauce and Warren's "Killer Sauce". I am a sauce fan so getting all these options was awesome, standouts for us were the Pineapple and Balsamic ketchups. As I mentioned this was their second day open so they appeared to be working out the bugs, and the owners and managers appeared to be giving tours to all their friends and family (a bit distracting but understandable). Besides these facts the service was very good, our server was the very friendly and attentive Shannon. She kept our drinks full, offered up the variety of sauces, refilling the ones we finished and providing more options part way through. In summary, a very good experience with good food and beverages (they do have a full bar), good service, nice decor all at a slightly elevated reasonable price. read more

Best fried pickles I have ever had! Our waiter was amazing (although I don't remember his name but he was traveling to our home state for a funeral). The also brought me out an amazing ice cream and brownie desert for my birthday, and knew just by scanning my ID! Every time we're in Utah this is a must go to bar! read more

This is a really good burger place. I had the B.A.D burger and it was amazing! I loved the maple aioli and the fried egg, it made for such a good flavor explosion in my mouth. We also got the Cajun fries and the Garlic Parmesan fries, the Cajun fries were just okay but the Garlic Parmesan fries were scrumptious! However we ordered the fried pickle spears and burned the top of our mouths. The battered outside was cool to touch but the inside was really hot. I think this is why most restaurants use pickle chips rather than spears because frying something that big and water based will make the inside super hot and take a long time to cool down. They tasted okay but if you must order them give them plenty of time to cool down. Our server was very friendly and answered our questions and was prompt to fill our drinks and bring out our food. I'm not from around here, so I was delighted to find a unique burger place next to my hotel. The decor was great. The staff is very friendly. Especially Travis. He seemed to really take pride in his work and the establishment. By the time I walked away, The positives outweighed any negatives (and I only had one ...the sale cane at the same time as the burger. This is usually my favorite Ogden area restaurant and has been for a few years but recently it seems that the new norm is waiting 30 minutes between water refills and getting an over cooked burger that I asked to be medium rare. Hopefully they can pull through soon. read more

Usually I'm sure to write a bad review if I really hate a place. Not in this case. I loved it! Atmosphere: great! Old brick building and wood beams, very cool. Custom filaments in each light bulb were intriguing. Food: great burgers and fries at a decent price. Service: waitress was very attentive and funny. Also, they had an older gentleman crooning vintage Jazz tunes. His voice was like silk. We were clapping after each song and making sure he felt appreciated. He even commented that people don't usually stop to clap when they're eating. My daughter, who's married, even said that she was taken by his voice, and wanted a second husband! Tonight I ordered the Santa Maria tri-tip sandwich. The taste was wonderful, with the aioli perfectly complementing the caramelized onions. If you like a good craft Burger this is the place to go. I had the B.A.D. burger which is essentially a breakfast burger. It was just enough salty and sweet to satisfy my palate. My wife's steak and cheese sandwich had great flavor could've done with a couple of tweaks to make it even better. All in all they do a good job, and the portions are quite satisfying. We dropped by since it was close to the hotel. It wasn't very busy, there were about 15 people in the restaurant. They had a bar keep and a waitress working. The place is nice and cozy. We checked out the menu and then sat down. We were greeted warmly by Holly our waitress and we ordered a Craft Burger and a Go To burger. We got some wings and fried mushrooms since they were half off on Monday. My friend got a Guinness which was poured correctly (whatever that means). And I got water. We waited a little while and got our wings and mushrooms. The wings were BBQ and very crispy with a nice flavor. Juicy and not over cooked. The mushrooms were awesome. They were cooked in Blue Moon Pale Ale batter and were perfectly cooked. My burger came out exactly how I wanted it as did the other one. Cooked exactly the way we wanted and so good. Very happy with the food. Holly was also really good and a according to my friend looked like Jennifer Aniston. She was friendly and helped answer a few questions we had about local things to do. I was really surprised that I ended up being disappointed in my experience here. I am a HUGE fan of Warren's and Dylan's locations as you can see by my other reviews. Unfortunately, this place did not meet the expectations that those location set. The food was very bland, the service was less than mediocre, and the wait was pretty long even though it was a slow time of day. There were seven of us and not ONE of us enjoyed our meal enough to go back again. I am giving it two stars for being clean and well decorated. I really enjoyed everything I ordered here I'm giving it 4 stars, well I'll tell you why So I called for an order for take out, the gentleman was very nice and welcoming over the phone. I ordered the Blue Hof medium WELL and I made it a point to tell him that and he agreed and said to pass it alone to the chef. He told me my burger would be done in 10 minutes it's about a 10 minute walk from my apt, and when I got there it was ready, but he had to walk to the back to run my payment which took a minute and folks seem to gather at the front l, he should have had help even if it's a slow night. I got my burger home it was still pretty warm even tho it was a 10 -15 minute walk home, as I take the first bite I know this burger is no where near medium well :(.... and not medium it's rare as heck!!!!! I can not eat it for I am pregnant and can not eat rare meat. So this great burger is going to waste. Put it the microwave you say, I would love too but I just moved in and am not unpack so this will go in the garbage. Raw cold meat served on the wrong bread option. Half the place was empty but the hostess had us wait cause she was staggering people so the wait staff "wouldn't freak". Waiter said it was crazy busy... The place was half empty and no one had food. Asked for forks. Twice. Never got them. Never got a refill. Had to go find someone near the kitchen for ketchup (they don't have bottles). My wife asked for no rye on her patty melt because she can't eat it... They brought her rye. The meat was raw in the middle and almost all red on the outside. Fries were cold. Four tables were served food all at same time even though we came in at different times ... Either that was huge coincidence or explains the cold food. The D.A.D. was exactly as described. Like a McGriddle on a burger buns. A bit too syrupy but they tried and it was cooked. I have never sent food back before and refused to pay. I have never stiffed on a tip. I still can't get over how the hostess didn't write names down and said it was a crazy night to have people waiting. read more

Option for a 1/3 lb instead of the standard 1/2 lb burger is a nice touch for smaller appetites. There is a mystery "blue cheese sauce" included on the blue cheese burger and I did not like the flavor. The blue cheese on top should have been enough. The server brought one burger on a bun despite an order for a lettuce wrapped burger. Those were the only two things that stood out as negatives. The food was fine. The service was fine. Wasn't sure but decided to give Warrens a try after driving down from Tremonton to give Pig and Jelly a try only to find them closed. Entered Warren's and was promptly greeted and seated. Service was a tad slow. I ordered the Patty Melt with Onion Rings and was not disappointed! Best Patty Melt I've ever tasted.
