Bought a set of Warrior clubs years ago and enjoyed playing with them, then the head fell off my 9 iron - contacted warrior about getting it replaced and they convinced me to try their new clubs - so far wishing I wouldn't have - likely going back the the old clubs and I guess just usign the 9 iron from the new set. read more

My review is in response to Mathew L.'s review. 1st off, his remark regarding the company not being responsible for statements made by their employees is patently false, BECAUSE, no company can LEGALLY distance themselves from comments or guarantees made by said employees. They are agents of the company, and thus legally responsible. Disclaimers are not binding with regards to promises made. Yes, I work in a California law firm. I have been dealing with them for years now, and continually receive products as offered, with no repercussions, to date. Everything I keep is free or is charged properly. As far as return costs, I HAVE YET TO NOT GET ANY REFUND COMING TO ME, and I have not had to pay any restocking fees, or shipping fees. (This is important....I live within 15 miles of the company, so I pick up what I test or order, and I physically return the items I don't want, personally. To date I have received some 6 dozen FREE balls, a free putter, a free hybrid, three free wedges, a free driver, and a free 3 and 5 metal fairway "wood". I have bought a fairway 7 wood. That's it. Paid for one club so far, and have multiple freebees. Yes, I have, in each case, "tested and filled out a questionnaire" regarding all the clubs I have kept. Well, that's my story, but I do realize that the shipping charges I save by visiting the company in person is an issue that many cannot realize, especially if you test their full set of irons, and then decide to return them by UPS, mail, etc. read more

I was emailed about trialling a revolutionary new driver for free so I called. Not sure how they got my address. Everybody is interested in a better driver Was told only 200 people were given this chance. I was then told the offer was only available if I paid about $350 and trialled 3 fairway woods at he same time. I did it and then returned the clubs 8 days ago and emailed and phoned Warrior to confirm the return. I have not been refunded yet. Shipping cost me $38 and really I would doubt if the driver could be sold for that. The driver does not perform. Is too light and shaft is not high quality. Ditto for fairway woods. One of the worst customer experiences of my life. I pretty spent almost all summer trying to get my one golf club! They sent my club first to wrong address and I never got a tracking number like the first guy I bought it from said I would. Then it takes a week just get a hold of some after no one returned my calls. I finally speak to someone who didn't seam to care that my club was sent back and finally got it shipped out again to the correct address that I had already gave. Then again I get no confirmation e-mail after be told by the lady there that I would. I finally talk to a third person and eventually get an e-mail for the package but by then it was already delivered. They never even offered to refund my shipping or even part of it. Haven't got a chance to use it yet but I sure hope this club is better than there service!!! I do not plan on ordering again from this company and do not recommend it. I received an offer from Warrior Custom Golf for a "Free Fairway Wood" and I thought I would try it. They pressed me hard to take more during that call and I said no. I kind of expected it due to the deal. What I didn't expect was what was to follow the delivery a few weeks later of my wood. I received another call asking me to try the full set of irons. They offered the full set of wedges as well if I tried the irons. They pushed and pushed and pushed with me saying no, no, no to match. Finally I said please don't call me anymore. I am not going to sit here getting mad and saying no because you can't accept no as an answer. Obviously this guy was an "Overcome obstacle - Move in for the kill" style of salesman that you would expect at a seedy used car lot called Honest Johns. The call did not end with a sale for him and in fact stopped me from ever wanting to buy from them. Well today I got another call from them. So I decided to call the corporate office and ask for the COO or President. They gave me another number to call so I did. I again asked for the COO or President. I was told that he may not be in right now but they would check. She did and came back with a statement that she would take my name and number and that he would call me back as he was in a meeting. I asked what the name of the person was and she said that Josh would most likely be calling me back. I asked what the title was for him and she said hold on please and went off the line. Another person comes on the line and states their name is Josh and I ask Josh what his title is and he said "Sales Manager". So they gave a complaint that was about the sales department to the one that obviously supports the style of aggressive, no doesn't mean no, go for the jugular and do whatever you need to do to get the sale. He started the conversation with "I am sorry for this misunderstanding" before he heard one bit from me. I told him that this was not a misunderstanding and that his department is overly aggressive and....he then starts talking over me and not listening. He told me that there were no other calls from his group and I said "Are you calling me a liar?" He did not say no. It all went downhill from there. Remember this is supposedly a high ranking employee in the company. The Senior Sales Manager as he quoted multiple times. Amazing! At the end of the conversation he agreed that I would be removed from any marketing call lists and that I would be removed from all other marketing channels. I won't hold my breath on not getting calls or any other form of marketing from there. And the kicker.....he told me that they do not have any corporate structure and that their president works at a course in Tennessee. I has contacted a Warrior for a free 64 Degree wedge. Ended up getting a three wedge set for $30 which us just the shipping. They talked me into trying a driver and three wood. Well I absolutely hated them. I was hitting the ball worse with these new clubs. So much for greatly improving my game line they advertise. Anyhow, I contact customer to return the driver and three wood. Wow, what a nightmare. 45 minutes of dancing around. They tried everything you can to get me to keep these clubs. They offered me discounts, pictures, a gift care, reduced cost of what I had paid. All I wanted was to get all my money back. Finally he realized there was no way he was going to get me to keep these clubs. It sucks that I have to pay the return shipping though. At least the wedges are ok. read more

I've been getting the most distance I can expect to, mostly because of MY swing issues! If I hit the ball with the driver-the way it is designed to make contact, I can usually count on the ball going around 250 or so yards straight up the fairway. However, when some part of my swing isn't in sync- the ball ends up somewhere else! That is NOT a club issue! It's because of my poor execution of the golf swing. I thought that was the case with all golfers. But, I am working on my swing and am happy with the results I get with my Warrior clubs. read more

I don't write reviews, but I want this to be known, and people should be very careful. I placed an order with Warrior Golf for a 3w, and 5w along with a complimentary set of wedges. This order was placed in late July, with a stipulation that they were to process my credit card in early september, as I was transitioning between jobs. On August 9th, I called Warrior and spoke to one of their sales associates. I asked that my order (which was still weeks away from being processed) be canceled, as I was gifted some clubs and no longer needed them. He assured me it was a quick process and that he would take care of it. Now, on September 5th, I was charged 410$CAD, with no confirmation of purchase, no order number, no tracking number and certainly no clubs coming my way. I called your company immediately and spoke again with the same sales guy, and got the "oh my bad, this is my fault I should have taken care of it". Yes, he should have. I appreciated that he took responsibility for the incident, and he assured me he would be refunding my credit card and sending me a confirmation email of the refund that day. I waited until the end of my work day, and called again. This time I was told Johnny was busy, and that "he will be dealing with this shortly". I am still waiting on my refund. I have received no confirmation that the refund has been processed. I have since opened a claim with my credit card company. They have asked me to document all my further dealings with you electronically and to avoid phone conversation. I will be forwarding this email to them. I have had a terrible experience with your company, and have urged my uncle, father and cousin, who both have been waiting to see how my experiences turn out, to shy away. read more

Some call this a scam - it's not, just don't expect too much. I got the free 3-hybrid and putter and went for the 3-wood and 5 wood for two reasons: I don't have a 5 wood now and my current 3 wood is too short. They threw in a box of the tour golf balls and I have to say that they are the best part of the deal - feel like ProV 1 and I actually backed up the ball on the green several times which I have NEVER done. The fairway woods hit nice, good feel and sound and I can hit the 3 wood off the tee about as far as I currently hit my driver and off the fairway felt nice with great distance. 5 wood was so-so but I blame operator error on that and the hybrid hits nice. The putter is a wash - prefer my mallet. All in I got the three clubs plus putter and a set of really nice golf balls that I will buy again for $317 - $100 a club for what I'll use, not too bad. read more

They call you with offers of free drivers, wedges, etc. and when you bite, they then want you to buy a set to demo (that you can allegedly return if you don't like) or they want you to write a review. I bought the three hybrids and the putter. I Had no time ti try them and when I did their retuen policy kicked in and they refused to take them back. They then gave me a free driver. I tired it along with several of my friends at the club and we all agreed they were trash. I put them in the caddy donation box and nobody took them. The club pro eventually threw them out. They are very light with no feel and poor grips. read more

Not a scam, but Def shady. Was presented with an offer, had my doubts. 2 12 packs of golf balls (equivalent to noodles) 2 woods to try, get a free driver to keep. Since I got a "free" driver and mine is old, figured okay. I asked the rep several times that the only shipping I'd be charged was when I return the clubs if I didnt like it, he confirmed yes several times. I decide to send the clubs backs because while the woods were actually decent (hit the ball farther and more consistent than my current Callaways), the improvement wasn't enough to justify paying 150 bucks each. The driver was absolute trash, it was a hollowed out club that sounded and felt awful. It was literally a quarter the quality of the woods. I call to return, and I'm informed I'd only receive $270 back as $30 was for the shipping out to me. I told him I confirmed it several times which he then said it was on the invoice they emailed me. I scoured through my emails and there was never an email sent with prices, only a confirmation email showing what was being sent to me, NO PRICES. Then he said it must have been in the box, which is ridiculous considering by then it's too late. He offered me 2 different price reductions for me to keep the clubs because "they make their business of customer satisfaction and good word of mouth". I told him the driver was total trash and this whole thing is the opposite of good word of mouth. I was calm on the phone but growing increasingly frustrated. I was so mad, I just decided to eat the cost and send them back. Turns out I should have just kept them, because after $30 cost of shipping to me, and $40 to send back, I'm paying $70 for the worst driver ever. Obviously they include a trash driver just to sell you on that point. He said it was just my opinion the driver was bad, but come on. The driver was atrocious, I'm not just saying that. I coulda just paid 100 (plus 30 shipping) and got 2 decent woods out of it, but I was so mad. I blame myself, I was skeptical from the jump but the drive sold me. I wouldn't even be mad if the driver was the same quality as the woods or close. This whole experience leaves me incredibly sour on this business practice. I still occasionally receive email offers (keep forgetting to unsubscribe) for $500 packages and I chuckle. Fool me once. I'd say, unless you legitimately are looking to keep the items they are offering, don't do this. This company is very shady. After 30 minutes of high pressure sales techniques, the salesman i spoke with turned in to a big baby after he could not convince me to keep the "test" clubs they sent me. After about rougly 20 attempts to get my autorized return code from him, he gave me the number i needed. Except he said it too fast and i asked him to repeat it, which he did, just as fast as the first time. After asking him to repeat the number again, he refused, saying that he had to get off the phone. What nerve, I listened to him ramble for 30 minutes about what a good deal I was getting and he would not even say the number slow enought for me to jot it down. Be very, very leery of getting involved with this company. The come on is great (FREE clubs) and the cosmetics are good, but the clubs are no better than ordinary such as you would find in the $18.00 to $20.00 barrel at a discount store. The shipping charges are outrageous and the pricing on the accessories is a joke. When you request an RA number to return any clubs you do not want, they put on the full court press which is very much like a time share sales pitch. The offer of a free club in exchange for testing and evaluating others is nothing more than a marketing gimmick to get $430.00 charged to your credit card up front. The whole game is about how much they can convince you to leave in place when you call back for the RA. One buyer reported that he had scammed Warrior by getting the utility club for only $50.00 while returning everything else. In fact, he paid 2 1/2 times what that club was worth. read more

I told them I would not take them at that price, called Warrior golf and spoke to management people so I was told and told them I am not paying the extra monies owed and was shipping the clubs back! was told they would reimburse me for the total as soon as they received them back. so I look at my visa bill and they shorted me a total of $38.40, does that sound like being reimbursed. I would NOT recommend this company, or their "deals" to anyone. After receiving an email offer about two dozen free golf balls, I reached out to Warrior Custom Golf. While on the phone, the individual sold me on a deal - I could try 4 demo clubs for 30+ days (driver, 3W, 5W, 7W) and keep the driver regardless of my decision as a Thank You. I could send the other three back free of charge. I asked about shipping, and was told it would be taken care of. On the whole, the offer sounded reasonable enough. That is, until I got the invoice the next day which listed everything out - including shipping costs of $29.95 to send the clubs to North Carolina. Upon seeing this and realizing I'd be responsible for shipping to me and back to the Warrior facility if I decided not to keep the clubs, I called to cancel my order. I didn't need a new driver, not even for $60. I explained my issue to the individual at the Call Center and was told that they would "take care of" me if I just took them up on the offer and tried the clubs out. The individual on the other end of the line assured me that things would be fine, and just to give him a call back within 45 days. After a month of playing with the new clubs (they weren't a bad product, just not as good as what I already had in my bag), I was ready to send them back. After a week of trying to get the first individual on the phone again, I finally caught up with him (I'm happy I wrote down his name). He tried to convince me to keep the clubs again, drastically reducing the cost for ALL clubs to around $130. I told him I didn't need them and just wanted to send them back (and be refunded my money). I was given a number and told to ship them back. When I asked what I needed to do for shipping, I was told that I was responsible. When I reminded him that he said he would "take care of" me, he said that statement was made in reference to the clubs if I made a purchase. At this point I started to lose my cool, letting him know my displeasure and unhappiness at how I'd been taken advantage of. I told him that I didn't want the clubs and that I wouldn't be purchasing anything from Warrior, regardless of what price he offered me. I'd called to cancel my order the day after I made it l over the shipping costs, and was told I would be taken care of. That assurance was the only reason I moved forward. I suppose it should be on me for not digging further into what "taking care of" me meant, but it seemed pretty obvious to me...I'd called about the shipping, and was told all would be taken care of. Semantics shouldn't be the reason a customer is swindled out money, and this individual took advantage of ambiguous words to screw a customer. Do they train the customer service reps in this grey-area kind of talk? It seems that way - this representative knew exactly what he was doing, and laughed when I brought it up. "I said I would take care of you, but that was about the deal on the clubs!" Like it was some kind of joke...on me. Why didn't I check Yelp first?I've been trying for a week to get a return number so I can ship the clubs back. I finally got a call back today while I was driving from a "supervisor". I pulled over to talk for a few minutes. I said I didn't like the clubs and told him why. All I wanted was an "authorization number" so I could return all of the clubs (including the freebees). Catch this. He said it takes about 10 minutes to generate a number. First he has to get some information to input into the computer. I told him I didn't have 10 minutes and I was in city traffic. His response, "Just turn on the speaker." I said "no" and he said to give him any time and he'd call back. I did and was told the office was closed then and it wouldn't work. We really got into it. I ran a medium size company and if any of my customer service people called a customer names they'd be out on the street in a heartbeat. Folks, stay away, lock your doors and keep your credit cards away from these people. At very least they are unethical. Has anyone tried shipping without a number? Warrior Custom Golf (WCG) frequently offers test play promotions whereby a potential customer is enticed into completing a purchase of a given number of golf clubs in exchange for receiving not only those purchased clubs but also additional free items such as clubs and/or golf balls. The purchase is often completed by calling WCG at the number provided in a promotional e-mail. The customer is typically given the impression that the purchase is subject to a money-back guarantee and that he/she shall retain possession of the free items regardless of his/her decision to return the purchase. WCG also typically requests that the return of purchased items be completed within a given time frame. If you don't want to keep the club(s), things are probably going to turn interesting. And you are likely to learn your lesson the hard way: through your wallet. This part is important... As was described to me during a phone conversation with a WCG representative when the individual resorted to reciting the terms and conditions to me verbatim and in their entirety, WCG has included language in their agreement which absolves the company from any legal requirement to uphold comments made by their representatives. In other words, they don't have to do what they say they will do and there's nothing you can do about it. After hitting the clubs and realizing that one has made a costly mistake, returning the purchase can be problematic. As stated above, the purchase must be shipped back within a given time frame. The customer is required to conspicuously mark the outside of the shipping box with an RA number and the reason the clubs are being returned. This means one must write in huge letters on all sides of the box using brightly colored ink. Failure to do this may result in the purchase being sent back at which point one may find that the deadline to return has passed. Getting this RA number usually requires a phone call to WCG in which the customer is asked to reconsider their decision to return the purchase and offered a deal to keep it. If the customer refuses, a better deal is put on the table. If the customer still refuses, an even better deal is put on the table. This process repeats itself until, in some cases, the WCG representative attempts to make the customer feel guilty, ungrateful, and ridiculous for rejecting such an enticing offer. If the customer still refuses to give in, the RA number is finally given and an attempt to return the purchase can be made. Remember the part where WCG isn't required to uphold comments made by their representatives? It's time to revisit that money-back guarantee. If the customer somehow makes it to the end and actually returns the promotional purchase, the agreement also appears to include language which allows WCG to withhold a minimum shipping cost from the final return amount. As the customer will likely find out, the amount of that shipping cost is discretionary. It's a most-of-your-money-back guarantee minus the guarantee part. If you've made it this far, you now understand how the company makes a lot of their money. Best I can tell, it goes like this... Offer an inferior product at a greatly inflated price and then seduce customers into buying it by "discounting" that price and including some free stuff with the purchase in an ongoing promotional e-mail campaign. If the customer keeps the inferior product then a lot of money is made. If the customer somehow manages to maneuver their way into returning it without violating a bunch of sticky rules then use the fine print to recover the cost to manufacture the inferior product. And as for those leftover free clubs you still have, there's one more thing you should probably know... real golfers don't play Warriors. read more

Where to start. I signed up for the hybrid and loft they were offering because a friend of mine on the course had just bought that same hybrid. We just finished a round and this same friend mentioned a deal regarding a net from them and I asked him to check on it for me, so he called today and spoke to some punk rep named CASEY. My friend told him he was not interested and before he could tell him why this punk told him that he shouldn't waste his time and hung up. Now I am not one to give a damn but when you go out of your way to disrespect someone I had to speak to his manager. When I called back this same rep answered and tried to give me a lame excuse about not having a transfer button, what type of business doesn't have this, so I asked agaiin where I could reach them and he started to get loud and finally gave it to me. I spoke to lisa at the front desk who said no managers where around at this time but one would call me back. Yea this ring of sales SCAM is just what people like. I use to talk good about warrior clubs, now I am glad I can spread this story so that people can avoid the headache of not meeting a sales rep quota!! I thought I might take a drive to irvine to show this punk what a real 6'6" customer looks like but do I really need the cops called for someone that get's mad when they can't close. I am completely unsatisfied with Warrior golf. Last fall I agreed to try 2 golf clubs for 45 days, if I wasn't happy with them I could return one or both and get a complete refund. I called about sending them back, and their customer service rep talked me into a deal where if I kept them both they would refund me for one. I explained I didn't want them, but in order to shut him up I said fine, send me the $149.00 for the one club and I'll agree. Since then, I have been told on more than 3 occasions that the refund is pending. It is not. This company has no honor or integrity and I do not recommend doing business with them. They will offer free stuff and if you take it, I recommend changing you contact info, because they will call you continuously. As for some of the clubs I have bought and kept, they are fine. Most of the free clubs they send are not that good, thus the free charge.....as I've read in other reviews, this place is just not on the up and up. i just received a 3 hybrid and a 60 degree wedge, rushed to the range, hit balls for two hours and i have one word, 'wow'. I had a problem in my game, a gap between 160 yards and 190 yards, this new Warrior hybrid fills that zone (for my swing speed). The lob wedge is so sweet it's like tossing the ball with my hand. First purchased a Warrior driver about 18 months ago. Several months later the head cracked on impact with the golf ball. Despite multiple emails and two phone calls my request for repair/replacement was ignored. A month before the driver broke I was convinced to purchase a set of fairway woods (3, 5 and 7). Those worked reasonably well until today, when on perfect impact (the ball went straight, 185 yards) the clubhead snapped off and flew after the ball. I've never seen such poor quality in golf clubs and would never consider buying Warrior equipment again. read more

I received an offer for free clubs. When I called the number I was told I needed to also receive a set of woods as well ( for a hundred and something dollars) ( not a bad price for a few good woods, a 3, a 5, and a 7 ). My plan was to send them back as soon as I got them. BUT! I gave them a try. I am 65 years old. I just retired out of the Army after 40 years. I am disabled. My right chest is in my neck ( yes you read that right ). My handicap was about an 8. I played several times a week; until about two years ago. I need things that are going to get me some distance without losing some sort of accuracy. My first day out with these woods? I was on a par 5 about 180 out. I took out the Warrior 5 wood and got the ball not just on the green.. but it stayed on the green. I spent the day using these woods the rest of the game. I was sold. They have a good product. Their method to get you to buy them is a bit " desperate". But the clubs are great for the money. I have some very nice Cobra woods that just spent the summer in my basement. Ok, so I win a Warrior golf club at a charity tournament, but I need a left handed club. I think no problem, I'll just contact the company and they will make the exchange, not so much. When I call them I was told that the club was a older model and there were no left handed heads....wait for it.......But they would be more than Happy to set me up with a newer model for just the s/h ($22.50), being a local golfer I can just swing by and pick it up. No dice, I still needed to pay the $$ really! So I gave money to good cause at the charity event and warrior will lose visibility of their product, the club will never be in my bag or seen on the course and I will never be asked by other golfers how I like the club. Net net, the children win I get a write off, and Warrior gets................. read more

Nothing is EVER EVER EVER......free! The email that I received offering me 2 dozen free golf balls morphed into a set of irons...a driver.....and the 2 dozen balls for an upfront charge of 300 bucks plus shipping and handling that would be refunded if I sent back the clubs within 45 days along with a review of the clubs. Needless to say I did not bite the hook. Funny thing is I only responded to the multiple emails that I had received when the product offered was balls because I figured if I liked how they played I would buy more from them. If the reps read these posts this is one thing to take note of as I could have potentially been a repeat and referring customer, but the bait and switch ruined that! read more
