Sometimes when you order multiple rolls, the ginger gets squished into one tiny container and split between three rolls, which isn't ideal if you like to cleanse your palate between bites. Also wish they had more raw options than just crab options. Overall, the sushi is good, portions are generous, and it's a comfortable place to sit down and enjoy a meal. Greeted immediately, friendly staff, nice ambiance, no complaints there. 4-stars simply comes from the lack of a bar. Good sushi deserves a good martini. That part was super disappointing for me. The Tempura Veggies, Tempura Shrimp, and Sushi was all lovely. Freshly cooked / prepared and served promptly. Price was on-point and the overall experience was great. We'd be regulars if they had a full bar. If you live nearby and can tolerate dinner without a martini, give Hokkaido a try - it's worth it!
