    Amazing sushi! It came out super quickly and was very fresh. The employees are super lovely as well.

    This place is just that good! Go check them out.  I got chicken sushi , 1 (8 count) and 1 (12 count) for my husband.

    Not a big fan of sushi and not really sure how much I trust mall sushi but Wasabi Sushi needed to be check off my Top 100 checklist so I gave them a try. I ordered the Shu Mai appetizer. There are 6 pieces in an order. I originally was going to get a Bubble Tea but I didn't see the point because o don't like boba. The Shu Mai was frozen and took about 10 minutes to make. I took that time and did a little shopping in a near by store. My order was ready in the 10 minutes. It was bagged up on waiting at the counter. This Shu Mai was different than any other Shu Mai I've had before. It had a tiny shrimp on top. It was a little fishy to me but overall I enjoyed it. The special dipping sauce was a nice compliment.     This place is absolutely amazing! The service is good, the food is IMPECCABLE and I've never had an issue. I get the volcano roll every time I am on lunch break at the mall and every time it is perfect. 10/10 recommend!!!!

    Love love love this place!! I come here at least once a week for their sushi!! It's great quality with prices that can't be beat with the sweetest staff!! Everyone I've brought here absolutely loves it and we will continue to come here for our sushi.

    I've worked in this mall for two and a half years and I often get my lunch here. I've seen the same employees the entire time I've been here and my food is good every single time. I was here so often it got to the point where I didn't have to tell them my order anymore . From order to pick up, my order is always ready under 10 minutes. My niece loves sushi so I let her pick out 8 or so Sushi rolls for her birthday and she loved it! Of course the staff is amazing! Im pretty basic but usual is the California Roll and the Salmon Nigiri. Great tasting, affordable, and fresh sushi spot.

    Sushi Amazingness in the middle of the Mall, not a mall of my liking but a MALL (Carolina Place). This sushi is prepared FRESH as you order and the chef is very friendly and personable. The staff is amazing they remembered our order from our last visit and asked if we wanted that again. I mean how's that for customer service in a high traffic area that service many people daily. The sushi is amazingly and surprisingly FRESH. The specialty rolls are so good we had #9 and #11 on this past visit as this was our second visit. I waited to review to see how consistent they were with freshness, flavor, customer service, etc.. This place nailed it in all aspects and earned a regular when in the area. I am not a fan of the mall AT ALL but my daughter does work their and I'm usually dropping her off at the food court and pulling off (my hubby and I). Now I have a reason to walk in through the food court and right on over to Wasabi and right back out that door. This place deserves a standalone restaurant somewhere outside of the mall. P.S they only loose the star because of the location (Carolina place mall, not a fan of this place)

    The vegetable roll is up there for the best I've had since . I would highly recommend checking this place out if your in the area and looking for a well made and fresh roll. We eat at lots of sushi places, don't be scared by the mall location!

    Actually, it was my third time. This place IS too good for mall. Good, FRESH, hot or cool sushi!! A MUST for a quick take-out sushi!

After putting in our sushi order for AYCE, I let her know about my shellfish allergy and just asked that anything with lobster or crab be on a separate plate. She was very confused, apparently not knowing what shellfish was and went down the list of all fish asking what was safe.... One of my rolls was supposed to be a spicy salmon but came out just a regular salmon but I just ate it. The sushi itself was very good, I loved the abundance of special rolls they offer.

It had a Michelin 2025 sticker on the front door so I thought it would be amazing. I want to say that the service was excellent. Very attentive servers, very professional, very friendly. The service was 5-stars for sure. Next, the food. We started with the miso soup and ginger salad. Miso soup was bland and the ginger dressing on the salad was super bland. We ordered the crispy spicy tuna and the steamed shumai next. The crispy spicy tuna was weird. The first taste bud stimuli was fishy and the last thing you tasted was McDonald's hashbrowns. Also, the chopsticks were very cheap and when you picked up the piece it basically fell apart. The presentation for the steamed shumai was horrible. It was served in a bowl with the chili garlic sauce in a tiny bowl on the side. The pieces were wayyy too big to pick up with the chopsticks and for the mouth. But if you managed to get the thing in your mouth, it was super hot and basically burned your mouth. Like there was no option to take a bite it was either shove the whole thing in your mouth or not eat it at all. The rolls we ordered were the Mr Crabby, which was the only good thing we ordered. The Naruto, which had too many layers of cucumber wrapped around it and the pieces were mini. The villain, a $25 roll with caviar on top, but the caviar was so sparse, it could barely be seen with the naked eye. Rainbow roll was ok but again, the pieces were tiny. Every roll was flavorless and the price point was stupid. $122 plus tip for a bland lunch was retarded. Super disappointed.

A few minutes after my friend and I (walk-ins) ordered on the patio, I was asked to insert my card for a $50 pre-authorization. I've dined at many upscale restaurants and have never been asked to pre-authorize my card after ordering at a sit-down table. When the charge posted instead of simply dropping off, I called the manager. She apologized, confirmed it would be returned to my card (it was), and told me this was standard policy for all guests due to walkouts. However, I couldn't find any mention of this policy on their website or in the restaurant. A few days later, I called as a customer to ask about their payment policies. I was told that neither walk-ins nor reservations are required to pre-authorize a card, except for certain pre-booked experiences. When I explained what had happened, the employee was surprised, apologized, and said they had never heard of that happening. I have no issue with restaurants using pre-authorizations--as long as the policy is clearly disclosed and applied consistently. For example, VINYL in Charlotte explicitly tells guests that everyone is subject to a pre-authorization, so there are no surprises. Based on my experience, this policy was neither transparent nor consistently applied, and the conflicting explanations left me questioning why I was asked to pre-authorize my card when other guests were not. Because of that, I'll choose to spend my money elsewhere. Why was I asked to whip out my card & pre-authorize a $50 charge immediately after ordering when it's not standard policy and other guests weren't asked to do the same? How do you pick and choose which guests to pre authorize? What are you basing it on?
