Very fresh and light flavor!Broth was nice and shot and has just enough flavor. Chicken was boiled and not very seasoned but was pretty good with the broth. I wish the egg was a little runny just because i'm not a fan of fully boiled eggs but besides that i'm happy.

This is my go-to spot for lunch! Their lunch specials are reasonably priced, and everything I order is always fresh and delicious. The service is consistently amazing.

I'm never usually in Bayonne so chose this place on a whim when searching online - very glad I did. The service is very efficient, they made sure our water was always full, and the prices are very reasonable (which isn't always the case with sushi). Street parking wasn't hard to find either. We ordered cream cheese wontons, a spicy tuna & a California roll, and pad Thai & drunken noodles. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious, the California roll was a free bonus for spending $25 (best deal... ever?). I've never had pad Thai/drunken noodles, and this was such a great first experience I'll definitely have to come back. The drunken noodles and wontons were my favorites of the meal for sure. The pad Thai my sister got was yummy, but she ordered the spicy one so I wimped out after a few bites. The sushi was great as well, I love when they put the crunch flakes in spicy tuna rolls. They also have several deals, bento boxes, lunch specials, and sushi combos I would recommend to get that extra bang for your buck.

Fun Fact About Me: I love me some Ramen and Sushi!!! My friend and I decided to try this place out. I must say, it was a cute hole in the wall. Plus, read some fellow Yelpers reviews! Majority had positive ratings as well as comments. Wasabi Thai, was a perfect spot to go to on a cold and windy day (well, roughly a few weeks ago it was, hehe) anyways, we were seated right away by a lovely waitress. She handed us a menu and we browsed quickly. We ordered Cream Cheese Ragoon for starters. As for sushi... oof Spicy Shrimp Sushi, Shrimp Tempura, and Spicy Salmon (I know too many 's', haha, but it was worth it)! And of course... Ramen! Twas called: Japanese Roast Pork Ramen... the choice of broth I chose was Spicy Miso. Overall we were satisfied with our food. It definitely warmed our tummies that day. We even took a nap because food coma exists with me whenever I have some delicious food inside of me! If y'all ever go to Bayonne, New Jersey, check this place out :)

... I ordered again and got pick up. Got the maki combo (tuna roll, California roll and shrimp tempura roll) and it came with soup and salad. Enough for 1 person. The 3 rolls it comes with are great, shrimp tempura is very good. The miso soup was a generous portion and I really liked the seaweed in it. Salad is iceberg lettuce and tomato and that good ginger dressing. Really happy with this place and service, bumping to 5 stars.

I had the red curry and Thai vegetable spring rolls for take out recently and liked the spring rolls the best. The red curry was pretty bland and did not have any spice to it despite having a chili pepper notation on the menu. My 2 companions felt the same about their food as I felt about mine; while nothing was horrible, it was just okay.

The best & my favorite sushi place in Bayonne, NJ. Their sushi is always fresh and excellent portions - great selection too! Their Pad See You is the best I've had - must get it every time I go. The price is great too - for Pad See You and 5-7 rolls, it's under $100. They are also BYOB which is always nice!

The place is dimly lit but cozy. The bar is attached at the back and is a separate entrance, we have been there a couple of times too. The owner and the wait staff were all very friendly and attentive. We got hot sake, shrimp dumplings, soup and ginger chicken with brown rice. I could tell everything was made fresh, it took about 25 min for food to come out. The shrimp dumplings were so good, packed with shrimp. Mild flavor and the wrapper wasn't too thick which was nice. Looked hand made actually. My husband liked his soup but I think it was too spicy. It was a giant bowl! I wish they asked us how spicy to make it. The hot sake was decent and what you would expect, it was served in a cute tea pot. I loved my ginger chicken. The mushrooms in the dish were excellent, super big pieces and juicy. Not regular button mushrooms. It was a nice surprise. I love mushrooms. Chicken was tender. Flavor was good and ginger was not over powering. The nutty brown rice went well with it. I just thought there was too many onion pieces and scallions in it for me. All that for $50 is pretty good price. Will come back again!

It's the kind of place where you can tell the food is made with intention rather than being rushed out of a big commercial kitchen. The dishes were packed with flavor and tasted very authentic. You can really tell the ingredients and spices are balanced the way Thai food should be -- bold, savory, a little spicy, and deeply satisfying. Everything we ordered had great texture and presentation as well. Overall, it was a unique dining experience with authentic flavors and a memorable host. The woman serving us was really nice and the first thing I noticed was that the prices were really good in comparison to other Thai restaurants I've been to. We ordered curry puffs as an appetizer, sheimp pad thai, and chicken pad see ew. The curry puffs were pretty good and served on a cute leaf plate, but I do wish the outside was a bit crispier. The main dishes were the perfect size and the pad thai looked especially appetizing with a pile peanuts on the side and a lime slice. My favorite part of the pad see ew were the noodles and there was a nice balance of broccoli, egg, and chicken. I admit that the chicken was drier than I would've liked, but otherwise the pad see ew was really good! My boyfriend thought the pad thai was a bit sweet, but other than that, he was satisfied with his shrimp pad thai. Overall, I had a great experience at Forest Thai and would come back!
