It's a mixed review because you can get snacks for $1 but if you don't have change don't go. Anything smaller than a quarter is not allowed so don't even try it. Just be prepared to cash out your dollars for quarters. The price per load is pricey(2.25 for 2/1.84 for 3/ 1.56 for 4/1.58 for with free dryers. So, you can decide if it's worth the free dry or not but customer service is hit or miss depending on if you carry nickels or dollars. The owner seems to be very efficient and cleans things personally so it runs well. Residing currently in an apartment requires me to go to a laundromat to do our laundry weekly. I found this spot a week ago the staff was polite and she was friendly. The second lady not so friendly but she could've been not up for working and interacting with customers. I want to give a shoutout to the Wash & Dry Lavanderia On Buckingham! What a friendly, kind & helpful woman (Adria?) who runs the laundromat. It's been years, when my boys were very young, since I've had the need to go to a public laundromat. Best Customer Service Ever! You guys know how I'm a bargain shopper...well my King size, thick comforter needed to be cleaned. My favorite cleaners is out of business due to Covid. And since I only paid $59 for my comforter at Home Goods, I felt paying $40 to dry clean it was insane. So I had a brainstorm & thought I would take it to the laundromat. Brilliant! It only cost me $6.50! And it only took 23 minutes to wash & 25 minutes to dry. Upon entering the laundromat I was going to use the largest washer they had available, which was $8. Adria told me don't waste your money, use the next size smaller for only $6.50. So I did. I'm thinking Wow, that's cheap. It gets better! It cost zero to dry, Free! The laundromat is very clean & there are change machines too. I didn't have to use all of my Aldi quarters from my drink cup holder, lol. My comforter now smells like Sunshine not like the chemicals that they use at the dry cleaners. And on another note, there were customers picking up their clean laundry. You see, Adria washes, folds them & hangs them up too for a small price. She only charges the equal price of each load...so if it cost you $6 to run the washer, Adria changes you $6 for her labor. Washer load $6+$6 for the labor to fold the laundry=$12 for each cycle of clothes. Bargain! So if you ever have the need to use a laundromat, Wash & Dry Lavanderia is where it's at! And remember them when you need Bulky items washed. read more

Good laundromat in the Fiesta Mart shopping strip on S Plano Rd. Clean bathroom and facility. Cheapest washing machines are $2. Free dryers. Change machine and atm available. Good air conditioning even when the place is very busy. Free wifi. One table (not counting the folding tables) and several chairs. No credit card accepted though. But this stands well against competition. I probably would return. read more

I came on a very busy (read: NOISY) Saturday when there were folks waiting for washers and dryers. Since it was my first visit, I was unsure of where everything was, but all the customers and the woman in charge were very friendly and accommodating. Turns out the bill changer machines are up front near the office and large dryers. In the middle are the larger front-loading washers. In the way back are the top-loading washers, bathrooms, as well as games for kids. It can be tough finding a cart, but people are polite and will let you know if a nearby cart is available. I was there to wash a large comforter and it only cost $3.50 to put it in a mid-sized front loader. The nice thing here is that dryers are free IF you use the washer, which makes sense. My comforter wasn't drying too quickly in the regular dryer, so the lady in charge helped me get it in a large dryer and I was out of there in no time. The thing I love most about this place, having only been there once, is that it was like the United Nations. All shapes, colors, ages, and languages there with the same goal--efficiently wash and dry their stuff and get on with their day. Lots of kiddos running around playing, televisions loudly showing telenovelas, and the lady in charge keeping everything moving, making sure dryers weren't sitting idle. My only recommendations would be 1) to remove the costly games in the back and install bookshelves with a free take-one-leave-one library so adults and kids can read books or magazines while they wait rather than have the noisy, costly machines, and 2) have charging stations so folks can charge their devices while waiting (my phone could have used a charge). read more

I love this laundry matt! It's so close to home and the customers here are really nice. Best times to come is earlier in the day since in the evening everyone is here right after work. I've been coming to this laundry mat since we moved to this area about 10 years ago... I don't reside on this side of town but it's cheaper than where I go over here on Live Oak st. Everything was working effectively. The only con would be not having a vending machine but it's right next door to a Dollar General, Wal- Mart Fiesta & CVS so you can do more than one thing in the area and kill time. The owner allowed my puppy to be with me as long as I showed him my documentation because it is strictly no pets allowed. Very, very clean and affordable. See you in a few weeks! read more

Clean, well kept laundromat with a variety of washers and driers. The coin change machine worked very well; changed all denominations up to $20. They had double, triple, quadruple, and super load washers and both giant and double giant driers. Washers ranged from $2.25 to $6.25. Driers were free. All the machines were clean and in good operating order. They had arcade games and gumball machines in the back Clean restrooms. No vending machines that I saw, but it's next door to a Dollar General if you need a Coke or a bottle of water. This is the Laundromat next to my neighborhood, and my machine was on the fritz. Hope to have my own fixed soon, but Wash and Dry Lavanderia made the experience painless. read more

Was a great place, my wife washes her clothes here during the day and brings them home, I go back and dry them using the free dryers, been doing it for a couple of months and tonight the lady tells me I have to use the pay dryers. I explain to her the process and she says now on you use pay dryers. I am a light skin do not look Hispanic, she came right up to me while I was putting in my clothes. Hate to say it, but I think it is discrimination. I love this place but hate the lady went there even after I explained what we do. read more

I'm from the country, and I would never think a laundry mat would have flat screens on the wall and Wifi! The Wifi is great, since I work from home. Also, free dying can't be beat!!! Obviously they've hire new attendants because today i experienced the Worst service ever....attendants are rude and do not speak English what so ever... The best laundromat I've EVER been to! Mega Loads are a little expensive but I believe it's because there's FREE DEYING so I can not complain. I dread going into laundromat restrooms because they're usually filthy but this one was nice, clean and smelled good. The owner was sweet and friendly. I jus found a new favorite place :) read more

I agree they have the rudest staff. I went to wash a blanket, but before I did (first time there) my 4 yr old needed to use the restroom. I asked to use the restroom which was locked and was told my son needed to wait 10 minutes for the floor to dry. I was like what!!??She had already cleaned the girls' rr and was cleaning the boys' rr when I asked, thus 10 min had passed. She still refused and decided to ignore me and talk on the phone, her mom also put her two cents in. I was very upset and asked for the managers name which she refused to give. I hate dealing with people who just crossed the border and act like they own the world. At least speak English, onagers! read more
