This review is regarding the $8 car wash (the most basic economic option). We've been twice now and for an affordable car wash we really appreciated the gentleman who uses a brush to wash off any grime (in our case bird droppings) that is on the car before we go through the wash. If you are on a budget, then what we do is go through here and then stop at the Walmart across the street and buy wax to detail our car ourselves afterwards. Then in sum we spend less than $20 and our car looks really good! So we would come back for the sake of it being close and convenient. read more

Well I'm in the lobby for 45 minutes and nobody has started on my car yet. Customers are slowly piling up and cars aren't clearing. The issue: not enough staff here on Saturday morning 10am hour. I've commented on this before, come here only when it's very busy and they have staff on hand. Managers on duty should help clean and clear cars in situations like this, but the one here now is just staring blankly at the growing line up of waiting cars. I suppose if you don't mind waiting a ridiculous amount of time to get your car cleaned, this is the place. Or if you only want an exterior clean. Prices remain $5-10 more than what I think it's worth, and that's not factoring the wait time. A saving grace: they do a good job. But expect a little depreciation on your car value as you grow gray waiting. read more

First visit was great.... This is my second visit and was really dissapointed. First had to wait for an attendant who was eating his pastry. Then I was there on a return free wash. And boy was it ever free.. No one to put back my antenna or even dry my car which was really wet. I am sorry but there service level need to be raised. There are two other car washes closer and way more friendly. On the first visit over heard the manager tell his employee he was doing it wrong.. But he did everything for me and even answered my questions. I will really have to think app it coming back . I've been going to Wash Guys for years. I think the best word to describe their service is "inconsistent." Sometimes when I go, the wash is outstanding and is great value for the price. Other times it's a complete waste of money. As an example, I just got my car washed here, paid for the $50 interior "detail" package which includes the dash cleaning, but the dash wasn't even cleaned. The conditioner wasn't used, there's dust everywhere because they didn't wipe it down, and the vacuuming was haphazard at best. Other times, my car looks fantastic. It's a dice roll. In general, I've found that coming in relatively early during the week gets the best wash. I give the business 4 stars overall because, more times than not, they do a great job. However, don't be confused - there are absolutely some times that I've been here where the service is an easy 1-2 stars (as with my latest wash). It really just depends who's working and whether they actually care or not. However, I keep coming back because when it's good - which it usually is - it's really good. I would avoid coming during peak periods (during the day on the weekends) as the wait can be quite long. For a basic interior clean, on peak hours it can take 60-90 minutes. When it's not busy, it takes less than 30. read more

I took another car there today and told them about the problem with the last wash. The lady was nice enough to comp me for the ceramic wash and asked her guys to make sure the car was clean this time. They wiped it down, and I went home, only to find out it was dirty yet again. There were bugs on the front bumper and headlights, dirt between the windshield and roof, rear bumper was dirty, side mirrors were dirty. Worst car wash ever! Another wasted $15.... I was totally disrespected today by the owner/manager Abbas -- This was my first time getting my car professionally detailed (interior) When I got in the car, I noticed the seats were still wet. My wife and I went on a road trip that same day in a different vehicle, and when i returned home 3 days later, my wife noticed a mildew type smell -- when we looked in the back seat, there was mold on the seats. I took the car back to the car wash and respectfully told them what I mentioned above - My request was that they re-wash the interior (remove the mold) and potentially receive a refund. The initial guy told me no problem on the re-wash but he needed to get his manager for the refund portion -- this is when all hell broke loose The manager Abbas (the name he gave me) came out , listened to the situation and mentioned the following remarks throughout the conversation: -How old are you??? Everybody knows to roll the windows down after a detail -You left the car parked for 3 days??? What do you expect was going to happen -We always tell our customers to roll the windows down (Me: Sir, the lady that gave me keys didn't tell me anything, she's right behind you ) He then says, "She doesn't speak English" -After he said "She doesn't speak English" he proceeds to re-iterate that everyone knows to roll down the windows, no-one should have to tell me -He then proceeds to bring my age up again, saying how are you this old and never got your car detailed Mind you, at this point all of his workers and customers are starring and he proceeds to tell me "I'm not giving you your money back" It wasn't until someone said "you should call the cops if he doesn't want to give you the money back" is when he finally gave me my refund. At one point in the conversation he asked me "What do you want me to say" -- I told him you should say "I apologize that you had this experience, we're going to make this right for you" and he laughed and yelled "This is your fault, why would I say that" Overall, I've never had an experience like this as a paying customer, I was respectful until he began insulting my intelligence with his rude, uncalled for remarks BTW this is the first time I've ever left a review in my life... Came here on grand opening because they offered a free car wash. Normally it is 4 dollars which is still pretty cheap. My car looked so clean the next few days after and tbh, it still looks super clean. I don't know if it's the soap, or the new machine but my car definitely came out squeaky clean. The only thing is that the water wasn't dried all the way coming out so I would need to have a cloth to hand dry it since the dryer in the machine didn't do that. But honestly the water didn't even leave any watermarks when I went and didn't hand dry. Defiantly coming back again for a car wash when I need another one. read more

The guy who helped me said something like, "Hmm, that's odd. That must be old." I got the Ultimate wash which is the "best" exterior wash since I needed my rims cleaned. They didn't do a terrible job, but it wasn't all that great either. My rims were still dirty after. Car is 3 years old and recently engaged in close combat with a large pile of dead tree branches. Ultimately victorious, but the branches got a few good licks in. All gone after splurging on the hand buffing and synthetic wax. Not cheap, but noticeably good results. Car looks like new. read more

As a car wash, it's pretty mediocre. My cars usually have dirt spots in places that they missed during drying, and they take all of 10 seconds to vacuum the car and clean the windows so you end up with dirt on the carpets and streaky glass. But my biggest annoyance is their state inspections. A few times I've stopped by to try to get one of my cars or my bike inspected on a Saturday around noon, only for them to tell me that "they can't do any more inspections that day" - why do they offer state inspections then? At that point of course you're in the line for the car wash and it's a pain to turn around and get out. read more

It's overpriced for the quality of service. I got the platinum package for inside and outside the car. The windows are not clean and it was hurriedly done, even though there was no one else in line. $29 for the wash which I could have gotten at a Shell station and basically a speedy wipe down. Could not have gotten any of the extra items listed in that amount of time. I won't go back. Literally could have done this much myself for $5 and maybe take a few more minutes. First of all, let me say that I have written very few reviews. I run a division of a Fortune 500 company myself and seldom have time to contribute to the yelp community. But I am sitting here waiting, so here it is. I have no idea what the new owners of this place have done to the car wash process. It went from super easy to strange. Here are the issues 1. People want to drop off their dirty car and get it back perfectly clean. Period. They do not want to host their car along the way. And they do not want to experience multiple steps/stages. 2. After driving my own car through the car wash (this is new), it comes out wet. Before, some nice young lad would be there to immediately dry it off. Now you park your car in yet another line, only to watch it air dry as it waits for the interior cleanse. 3. There is no longer a cash register. Yes, that means less labor to pay for the owner, and it also will mean less tips for the workers, as no one really carries cash any longer. 4. There is no frequent wash program. 5. For heavens sake, if you are going to have a tv, at least make sure it works. It has a satellite connection CLEARLY not professionally installed. I think bunny ears would be more effective. I plan on still coming here, but ONLY when there is absolutely no line for the interior wash part, as that appears to be the part of the process that bottlenecks. And when it does, you have to watch the hard water spots air dry on your car in the hot summer weather... Revising as of 4/18/2015: moving from 2 stars to 1 star based on recent price increase. Bought platinum service. After paying, learnt that I have to drive it through the car wash. That's not what I paid for. It's not a gas station, suppose to be a full service wash. I refused. The cleaner put my car on the rails and started dragging it while my car was on parked mode. Fortunately, I noticed the car tilting to its side. I immediately notified them. When I was handed the keys, the car was not cleaned, scrubbed at the front. There was pests stucked to the front grill. They did not clean it and said I should have purchased the deep clean option. This place is on my way to work. I use to go a well know place in Allen, until they stole the floor mates out of my Cadillac and then lied about it, brand new car not was not even three months old. Went once a week for three months. Now I've been coming here. They do a lot better job. Fast service is not always the best service. You get what you pay for. I always keep my cars clean. Very bad experience: not because of the quality of services finally delivered, it's because of how the business is organized and executed - my car got in 8:26am, finished the express washing quickly then was parked in the full service details station for 50 minutes without anyone touching it, at the mean time, I've watched 5 cars got here after my car and were fully detailed and driven away. Some employees also didn't seem passionate or ready to start the workday, these was also no communication between the employees, which was the main reason my car parked there for 50 minutes and no one even realized it. This place also seem only assign one employee to each car, which drives me nuts when I see ANOTHER 3 cars got job done and driven away...... Hope problems will be addressed and services will be improved. What's even worse is: after another twenty minutes, I was told the job is done, I cautiously asked whether wax is done, which was what I paid for....... U probably can guess where the story goes from here...... Had my truck washed here previously and they did a good hand wash (interior/exterior). Went back today for the same but being in a hurry once the truck was done I failed to notice that they didn't clean the bed of the truck at all until I was happily cruising to my next destination and saw leaves coming from the bed. Upon closer inspection after I reached my destination, they only cleaned some of the door jambs even though they had the truck for over an hour. Having said that I probably wouldn't bring my personal vehicle here. The car wash itself has 2 brushes that don't even contact your vehicle.
