I pointed out the areas that were still very dirty (politely) their response "if you you want to get your car washed again it'll cost five dollars more. And if you don't like the rules, then you can go somewhere else"-Very rude. I had to spend an hour literally, removing little spots and dirty areas from my car. Very fast and efficient car wash. They offer washes as low as $10 and no matter which tier you purchase, there are 2 employees outside waiting to hand dry your car with a towel. Sometimes, the towel service is not always the best, with some visible spots which could have been buffed out with a little more elbow grease. Terrible experience went through the car wash. It was great at first talked to all the employees even bought the most expensive package. Everything went well until I went through the car wash and it started folding my truck mirrors backward. They were really nice and non-confrontational when it originally happened making me write a customer report saying they would fix the damages and that a manager would reach out to me shortly then it became a battle for over a month to even get into contact with the manager for him only to offer a $60 gift card to their car wash only mind you the wash I paid for was already $40 I tried to tell him is there anyway that we can replace the part and he proceeds to get upset and when I told him I would write about this experience, he retracted the gift card and proceeded to kick me off the property read more

This business is a scam! Watch out! I got a monthly car wash package from them about 7 years ago, you know, the kind where they put a sticker in your windshield and you drive in. That car was in an accident with the entire windshield replaced over 4 years ago and was sold 2.5 years ago. That windshield code had not been used in almost five years and the car wash package was bought on a credit card that expired about 5 years ago. We recently found out that they were still continuing to charge us a monthly fee all these years, on an expired card for a service that hasn't been used in years. And when we blocked the charge with the credit card company, they found a way around the block and charged us again! What a horrible, unethical business. Disgusting! Thanks to all the fellow yelpers for recommending this place. While I personally prefer a hand wash - the drive through wash here was actually not bad and it's great that they hand dry every car after it's done being washed. A few spots on the back were missed but honestly it's a great price for what you get. There's $9, $11 or $13 wash choices and I saw that you can get a better deal if you buy the washes as a package. It's great to be able to use the vacuums for free (which were pretty powerful) after the wash as well and clean microfibre towels are provided. Our car is very clean now :D read more

Who thought a car wash could be fun? I come here every weekend to wash my family cars. For a super reasonable price ($10), you get your car washed and wiped down. Then at the vacuum stations they provide damps towels so you can wipe down your car interior and windows. I love this place and think it's a great business. read more

DO NOT COME HERE. This car wash left globs of some sappy goo all over my car and it doesn't come off. I went through a second time to try and it just added more. Towels wont get it off. Everyone is nice and friendly I love that, and provide great vacuums and rags afterwards even a small water pic device. It's great if you live close by, I drove 25/min just because I wanted to try em. One thing I would suggest is the first guy that gets you steered in on track spray the front of the vehicle for those nasty bugs that just stay on through the whole wash, with something tough enuff to take em off. read more

There is really one thing that sets this apart from most quick drive through car washes: that HAND DRY at the end. Let's face it, the high powered blow they all do at the end doesn't really dry it properly and you are left with spending the time doing all the drying after pulling over into one of the spaces. You still get that opportunity for some serious cleaning, but for those of us who want to drive in and out, its pretty amazing to just exit and continue on your way. I don't really do anything fancy when I'm just looking to un-dirtify my car, so I've been getting the base level ($9) and I'm pretty happy about that. I could be crazy, but I think their washing machine does a better job at getting those annoying hard yellow dots off my car. The fact that they have TWO dedicated dryers at the end makes it go really quickly. They even do that precise air jet tool to get into the edges. This place isnt really in my normal route but I make the effort to come here now that I have experienced it. If I'm exiting Clairemont Dr to head up the hill, I just do a left turn into Washman, pay, sit through a relaxing soapy journey, stop for a complimentary complete dry, then exit and continue up Clairemont drive. ITS SO EASY. Literally 5 minutes of my time, not inconvenienced one bit, and then my car is all sparkly again. Balboa car wash is much closer to me but costs more and they stopped hand drying pretty early on. Definitely check out Washman! PRE-COVID review: Been coming here for the past two years and never had a problem! I live in the Bay Area and every time I come down I always hit this place up to get rid of the buggies! They have 3-4 people wiping down your car after you come out of the car wash bay (the car moves along a track on the floor) to get rid of any additional wetness the dryer from the car wash missed. My husband and I were in town and needed to get our car washed. There isn't a decent place with good ratings where we live in LA so we figured we would get our vehicle washed while we were here. We drove up and got the Ultimate Wash. We ran it through the wash and there were people at the end doing the quick dry and remaining services. We pulled up to vacuum our car and finished wiping it down the door trims. You don't need to bring a rag with you to wipe down your car. Love this car wash. Have been coming here for a few years now and think the quality of wash for the price is about as good as it gets. I live in a complex with trees surrounding and almost always have tons of bird droppings, sap etc and this place gets almost everything, much better than anything in surrounding area. I take some detail spray after (which I would do anyways) and it gets the rest off. The other reason I love this place is the air compressor at each stall. It's so convenient they have staff to wipe down after leaving the tunnel, but the compressors help me get the remaining water out of nooks & crannies. read more

Just loved the extra attention for the self wash. Two humans power water down your car and any super funky areas before you enter the automatic self wash area to help make sure everything comes off. And once you get out there are 2-3 humans there to swiftly dry down your car. I've never experienced this at any other self car wash so definitely appreciate the extra care! The one thing I'll say, I wish the guys that dry your car had time to really get the corners because I've gone a few times now and each time any extra water tends to streak across the side of my car after I get on the freeway which is a bummer but not the end of the world. read more

Came here after a long road trip from the Bay Area to clean all the bugs and grime that had accumulated on the front car and vacuum the interior after our family had been in the car for so long. This place is what I was looking for: inexpensive, fast, and efficient. I was in and out of there in 20 minutes. We went for the $10 basic wash and it was one best $10 I ever spent. Highlights include: -you stay in and with your car the entire time -their crew hand dry your car when your car emerges from the machine -they have vacuum stations where you can vacuum your own car after the wash; great if you are nit picky and prefer to clean it to your satisfaction and/or have valuables and don't want strangers to have access -plenty of clean cloths by the vacuum stations to wipe up extra water and manually get the spots that the machine couldn't get; there was some bugs and dirt that didn't come off in the wash but I was able to successfully wipe them down by hand afterwards -when I was there, they constantly removed any dirty cloths I had just used so there wasn't a huge pile of them during my time there -they provide an high pressure air nozzle to blow out the water in between the mounding and trim, and then used the above towels to wipe it up This place isn't brushless so keep that in mind. But, I love the fact they give me the tools to easily do the detailing myself and have complete control over that process. After coming here, I think this will be my new go to place while visiting from out of town. read more

2 separate Car wash attendants spray your car windows and windshield down 2 separate times before getting ONTO the track. My car was very dirty causing zero visibility, so I bumped into a BMW in front of me in line that was not on the track yet. Just be aware of this and use your wipers if you can't see. They also claim zero responsibility if you do have any sort of damage to yours or other vehicles. Washman is my favorite car wash place. For whatever reason, they get my car the cleanest for an automated system. I love that I can just go through and get my car cleaned and eat my ice cream in the comforts of my car while watching a cosmic light show. I also appreciate that after you come out of the car wash, there are people outside that help do a quick wipe down to catch any other water that was not blow dried off. I came around 6:45pm so that's when the lights look best! I also went during covid, I would suggest that you bring gloves because it's one of the requirements to use the vacuums which I appreciate. read more

It's a few mile drive away when there are closer washes near me, but Washman is worth the drive. Their prices are reasonable, I typically get the $11 wash which includes hand toweling at the end. Once they've down towel drying you can drive to one of their vacuum stations where they provide towels, vacuums, and air hoses to get in the cracks.
