They came out swiftly and fixed the furnace for a fraction of what another company quoted us. Very professional, I will use them again!

Their quote came in the lowest and Brandon was extremely helpful on the phone, so I ended up choosing them. - The quote process was great: I submitted their online form, they gave me a call asking for more details, I sent them a few pictures, and they gave me another call with solutions and a quote. The quote also happened to be the cheapest of the 3 companies I got bids from. - The installation went very smoothly. I understand that direct vent water heaters are a little tricky to install, but Brandon installed perfectly. He arrived on time, got rid of our old water heater, and added a new water heater with several fixes: the overflow pipe now runs to the sink, he used a "flex vent" kit so the water heater can sit on the ground, and he put the water heater in a tray to reduce issues from slow leaks since I don't have a basement drain. - After the install, Brandon taught me how to change the temp / turn the water heater off / how to flush it / how to change the anode rod. Very pleased with the work and my new water heater is working flawlessly. The only downside was that there was no permit. I'm no expert on permits. Portland's website says that water heater changes require a permit. Brandon said it's a "gray area" for residential. I am not planning on selling the house and things looked good to me, so I don't mind too much.

The pipes were very old, there were several leaks, and the water pressure was non-existent. Hired by my neighbor Mary H. (landlord), she asked that I share her experience with this company. She has great water pressure now, and she swears that the water somehow tastes alot better. I really like some of the new features of the fixtures like an outside water spigot that you can shut off from inside the garage. No one can come up and just use it or leave it on. My landlord waited a full billing cycle- her water bill is down by $200! She appreciated that the team was professional and got the job done in a timely matter. For me, I'm super happy that the toliet is no longer running. I also had major surgery and was recovering at home. So I really appreciated that the team lead was thoughtful about that. Great Job thank you! Beech St

I recently had the pleasure of reaching out to Simpson Plumbing in Vancouver. I had kind of an odd…read morerequest when I reached out to them for an estimate to replace a water heater. I had just had a full plumbing inspection from another company and knew exactly what was needed, but I felt the price the other company was quoting seemed a little high. So I decided to reach out to 5 other companies (Simpson being one of those). I knew I did not want to make 5 more appts for plumbers to come out and spend 30 minutes to 1 hour+ assessing the water heater. I just wanted a general idea of what these companies charge to replace our water heater and I would do an actual in-home visit when I chose one to move forward with. I did send pictures of our current set up and our current water heater brand, model, BTUs, home usage info, etc, so it wasn't a completely blind estimate request. Simpson's price was pretty much in line with the others, but overall lower than the majority and they beat the original company's estimate even if I added in signing up for Simpson's annual membership plan. But where I really felt Simpson Plumbing shined was in my interactions with Denise and Adam. Denise especially, as she was the person that answered my initial request and remained my main contact for my interactions with Simpson Plumbing. She was super nice and accommodating. Adam was the person that wrote up the estimate and it was probably the most detailed one that I received. I had a few others that just mentioned "Basic Water Heater Install"...no model number, no mention of whether the expansion tank was included, etc. Even though I did choose another company for this particular job, I can say I would not hesitate to hire Simpson Plumbing in the future. I have even added them to my contact list already. We all know plumbing issues come up with home ownership so it is good to know which companies stand out, especially where Customer Service is concerned.

He came out Sunday night and figured out the problem. He was able to get our unit running again even though he did not have the exact correct parts. I'm not a big reviewer, but I had a very not good experience with this very highly rated business…read moreand I feel like warning others is appropriate. We recently purchased a home. The sellers had installed 2 new direct-to-consumer brand (Zokop) heat pumps with 4 heads (2 for each) in the home roughly 1 year ago (they are not providing records, but this is a reasonable estimate). After move-in, we noticed an error on the head unit in our son's room. Precision had previously repaired a broken AC at my small business 2 years ago. It was a good experience then, so I was excited to hire them again. They sent 2 technicians to our house, Edgar and Dylan, to service the units and diagnose. Long story short: Dylan broke the fan in one of the good units, which was maybe a year old (per Edgar's estimation based on some technical detail about Freon...you'd have to ask him) and previously working perfectly. He stuck a probe thermometer in the unit to check its efficiency and then caught the fan blade with it as he pulled it out. There was a CRUNCH and 3 bits of plastic fell out. He said "what was that?" and otherwise shrugged it off. No apology. No taking of responsibility, no solution or assessment offered. Completely unprofessional. I stayed calm, paid for their service, and got them out of my house. They assessed the issue with the other unit to be a Freon leak and quoted for repair. Shortly afterwards, I did a small amount of googling and concluded it was likely the fan. The following week, their office called to schedule the leak repair and I asked to speak to the service manager. His name is Wendell. He asked for a photo of the broken pieces (same one I'm posting here) as well as a photo of the label on the unit, which I also provided. He said he'd see what he could figure out. 1 week went by, I called back, he said he couldn't find anything about the unit or source parts, but if I find the part, they could install it. Not a good solution. I stayed calm and said I would think about it. Here's the thing, I'm also a repair-based contractor. Sometimes, I make a mistake and break something. We're all human, but our mistakes are our responsibility. I can't imagine breaking a customer's perfectly good thing and then just acting like, well, nothing I can do. Total BS. You can't find the part? Buy us a new unit. Too expensive? File an insurance claim. You came into my house, broke a new, working thing, and then left me high and dry. Completely unacceptable. Anyway, I thought about it, decided I don't want these clowns in my house again, and I don't want to keep asking them to act like adults with a sense of responsibility. I hired another company to fix the freon leak. They charged $100 more than what Precision quoted me but also did the assessment and repair the same day. That technician verified these pieces are from the "blower wheel," which is just another word for fan. I still have not resolved the issue with the fan Precision broke. They have a responsibility to make this right, but I'm sure it's on nobody's to do list. Maybe they read their reviews?

To be fair, the situation Mike was put in was a difficult one, which he should have ultimately walked away from. That would have been way more reasonable than what he did. There was a conflict in scheduling (Not Mike's fault) that had concrete pourers onsite before Mike arrived, and the spot he was supposed to place plumbing was already covered with concrete. When Mike discovered this, he simply had the concrete crew form out an opening for his plumbing work, but in the wrong spot altogether. While our directions for the plumbing were not exact, down to the inch, he instructed the concrete crew to put it on the opposite end of the pole barn. He did this without confirming with me. To cover the errant hole will cost $1,400. I originally offered to cover that cost if Mike would simply cover labor to cut out the concrete to lay the pipe. He declined that and ultimately said he refused to work on the project any further and would not take any accountability or work at all on a resolution. Terribly unprofessional and just gross.
