After their "detail boost" service, I noticed numerous dirty spots on my car, which they only cleaned after I pointed them out. Additionally, they forgot to return my car mats without notifying me, and I had to contact them. Their detailing and customer service fell short of expectations. I'm a little indifferent. Called to schedule a basic in and out service. And the employee on the phone on quote said, "it wasn't a good investment" and I should sign up for the next stage up. He said that the service wasn't worth it unless your car was in extremely good condition. I cleaned the trash out of my car and don't need the trunk touched, and the outside of my car is fine, I just really don't want to vacuum and wipe down my interior myself, but it's not like I car sign up just for that. I didn't feel like actually signing up for a service, because I felt like even if I convinced them to let me sign up for the basic, they wouldn't have put in their best work because I didn't go for their upgrade. My friend and I randomly drove by as we were leaving the Alderwood Mall and saw this Washpodd station set up in the parking lot across the theatre and I inquired about their services, as my car desperately needed a detailing. He was extremely courteous and informed us about their different packages and services and said we can even book an appointment online, which I did for the next day. For a few hours of cleaning these guys got my car looking like brand new, cleaned inside and out. My car had pine needles litterd everywhere but they vaccumed and steamed every inch of my vehicle. I can't recommend Washpodd highly enough! Gustavo and his crew did an absolutely amazing job on my SUV. It looks brand new again! The value for the work done is outstanding. They really took their time cleaning everything-- even under the back seats and inside my wheels! I haven't had any other auto detailer do such a thorough job. A few things make Washpodd especially unique: 1) Convenience: Since they are located right in the parking lot at Alderwood Mall, you can drop your car off and go shopping, see a movie, eat lunch, get your nails done etc. They will work hard cleaning your car in a covered area, and it will be sparkling clean when you're done! 2) The steam cleaning process: They use a special system that steam sanitizes and cleans out your entire vehicle. This is how they are able to get your car so clean in such a relatively short amount of time!. Normally, this level of detail would only be available with a 6+ hour detailing for a lot more money, in my experience. 3) Value: For around $100 and only about 2 hours, your vehicle will seriously look brand new again. They far exceeded my expectations. The owner, Gustavo, really cares about his customers' happiness and really wants to make sure they have done a perfect job. I brought my 2013 Ford F250 into the shop to get a detail on it because it had been neglected for the past year on keeping it clean. When I brought it in the paint was dull and the tires were worse for the wear. However, after the service was performed the paint and chrome on the vehicle look brand new and new life has been brought to the truck. I purchased a clay bar and wax which was an incredible investment and very reasonably priced. I also had the interior detailed completely which made an incredible difference since it has experienced a lot of passengers and the mess that comes with each of them. If anybody is in need of a vehicle cleaning that you are unable to do yourself, bring it to the Alderwood Mall and allow Washpodd to take care of you and make your vehicle look new again. Unfortunately, I can't speak to their services because I showed up for my 1 pm appointment and was told they were too far behind to get my vehicle in today. I had booked my appointment over six weeks ago before leaving on a trip. I confirmed my appointment the previous day. I was told that because there were previous people who didn't include pet hair, that they were too far behind. I also have pet hair in my vehicle. If this changes the time for an appointment so drastically, it should be a required field when booking. I was told there was nothing they could do today. This is very disrespectful of my time. It's extremely disappointing and very poor communication and overall customer service. If they knew they were running hours behind, I should have been notified much earlier. Update: I spoke with the owner, Gustavo, and appreciate his taking the time to follow up with me. I arrived at 1 pm and when they looked at my car they did let me know that I had not booked the appointment correctly and that it would take considerable more time than they had planned. They also told me that there were a number of people who had done the same earlier in the day and that is why they were behind on their current schedule. At 1 pm they were 2 cars (at least 4 hours behind). Even if I had booked the correct appointment, they would not have been able to start on my car until after 5 pm. I still think they should have notified me earlier knowing they were running so far behind. If they would have told me I booked the appointment incorrectly, I would have taken it and rescheduled. Because they told me they had been able to accommodate others who had booked incorrectly because they had booked earlier appointments, feels like poor customer service. I also understand that there are only so many hours in the day and they are doing the best that they can. Honestly, this is one instance where less transparency would have been the way to go. For the online booking, I use lots of online booking applications and I read things very carefully. I was told that the staff are not able to check and confirm the details of each appointment with each customer. Not knowing the volume of appointments, this sounds understandable. I was also told multiple times during my conversation with Gustavo that 70% of people have no problems booking the correct appointment. So, that means that 30% don't book correctly. Almost 1/3 or 1 out of every 3 to 4 appointments are booked incorrectly which likely causes the back ups I experienced today. Because again, I was told that even if I booked the correct services today, they would have been too far behind to get me in when I arrived at 1 pm. When I went back to the website, I realized that a "Regular" must mean a sedan and that this is actually a drop down menu. If Regular were changed to Sedan, I think it would make things much more clear for that roughly 1/3 of customers. I would also encourage pet hair to be a required field when booking a service. Gustavo encouraged me to reschedule my appointment. Given my experience today, I'm not confident that my appointment or my time would be respected. I'm leaving my rating as it is for now. If anyone does decide to book an appointment with this company, I would encourage them to use the drop down, Regular means sedan and book early in the day because you're more likely to get your service. read more

I'm very disappointed and mostly more disappointed I left tips. I can't believe my car wasn't well taken care of. Stains on the seats. Car seat was not even clean as they said they would. Scratches on the car. I wish I would of taken pictures of before but I know really well my cars and i know they have left scratches and they didn't do a professional job. I have taken my car there before and they have left it good but that was when they were just starting and of course they want to give the best impression. If you don't love what you do might as well don't do it. Don't recommend and top of that I won't be taking my cars there again. I'm so disappointed. We had a great experience. We have a 2019 Yukon XL that we haul 6 kids around all the time, 2years to teenager. The car get a lot of dirt and food and debris in it from all the daily activities but we like to try to keep it nice and newer. We found positive reviews of Washpodd and have it a try. After having had several vehicle details over the years on different vehicles, this ranks at the very top of all of the experiences we've had. The quality of work is truly excellent. They got every nook and cranny, they had the vehicle looking absolutely new on the outside. On top of that, the customer service was really good. The only downside was it took longer past the appointment time so I would recommend dropping off and picking up later. That being said, it was well worth the extra time because they did a great job and we would t want to have rushed them. Highly recommended and we will be bringing our Jeep and Tacoma here as well. read more
