Occasionally I need to call Waste Pro for something like an extra residential pickup service. There is a gentleman named William who works in the Midway office. Any time he is the CSR who takes my call, he is pleasant, and helpful. The service is provided exactly when he says it will be. The Waste Pro customer service staff is always lovely to speak to, but we have been let down by this company. On September 21, we put out our bins to be picked up on September 22. By September 23 they had not been picked up so I contacted customer service and spoke to William. He apologized and confirmed that he put in a pickup request and that their team should be out to rectify. Trash pickup came again on September 29 and the bins were still left untouched. So twice we were told the bins to be picked up, and they were not. October 2, I contacted customer service and spoke to Desiree. She called her dispatch team, and they told here that since they ceased picking up these particular bins, they would not make an exception despite having told us twice (once on a regular scheduled day and second after speaking with William), that they refused to assist. This would not typically be an issue as we would be able to toss them into the bin ourselves, but we are not in town for the next few weeks. We were alerted by neighbors that with the higher than normal winds on Oct. 2 the trash was now blowing into the community. Still after explaining the circumstances to Desiree, Waste Pro Dispatch continued to refuse. It is disappointing to see a company renege on their word especially in what was so recently such a small community where your word was your bond. We are losing the personal values of integrity and trust as things shift towards profit over community. read more

This company has redeemed itself, lol! Though I had a problem previously, my recent interactions with the staff have been positive. Recently, the person who does our yard bagged loads of leaves in big plastic bags. We were informed, nicely and respectfully, that the leaves should be placed in paper bags. They even took the leaves out of the plastic bags for us - that is going over and beyond and certainly much appreciated! read more

well nothing has changed with waste pro 30 min wait to corporate number and the local number is not better. I guess if you can not call them they think their are no problems. I understand we miss our thursday pickup due to the storm. After everyone secured their cans for the storm they show up and drove through the neighborhood and only picked the cans people left out. I suspect we will not see them until next week. I miss the old garbage company and we need to call our county commissioners to get them or anybody would be better read more

Service was totally outstanding. Finally!!!!! A customer service person who gets the job done. Brittany had the brightest personality yesterday!!!! When I say I've never had this much of a great experience in the Midway. She went the extra mile. Her smile was calming. I had to apologize to her because I came in with a complete crappy attituded based off waiting on hold at the call center. Very professional. Quick with a getting me in and out. Terrible customer service. They claim they will put in a ticket for missed trash pick-up but cannot communicate with the trucks to know if they will return. They claim the manager will call you, but don't hold your breath. I called for an entire week, and no service for missed trash. If they will be in the trash pick-up service, why don't they pick up the trash on the scheduled days? Lol, my recyclable was picked up, but not my trash. All customers whose trash was not picked up on the scheduled date should get a refund or have free pick-up for six months. read more

We've been calling them for three days trying to cancel service but there is always an eleven minute wait and then you get rung to voicemail. Even though three messages have been left over the past three days, nobody has called us back. I don't know how I'm going to be able to cancel this service. read more

Terrible customer service. They claim they will put in a ticket for missed trash pickup but have no way to communicate with the trucks to know if they will return or not. I had two "bear proof" cans that were knocked over so Collectors did not bother to empty the cans. I certainly don't expect them to clean up what was pulled out of can but the cans were left on the ground 3/4 full. Waited another full week before they were picked up. Needless to say, it was a real nasty mess at that point. They made a dirty job even worse by not dealing with it the week before. read more

we are very pleased with Waste Pro. They have done a wonderful job of being on time, cleanliness and delivering quality services. The Driver- Marcus Atkinson is very personable and professional. Helper-Marquez Wiggins doe a fine job of emptying and cleanup while working. They work for Truck #13004 in Tallahassee. They deserve recognition and should be commended for their hard work ethic! i have had a bulk pick up for 5 weeks,have called 6 times just to be put off,my drive way is very narrow with fences on both sides so when i called they said it had to be in a area the truck could access so i moved it into the cultasack turn around , this norning they sent a regular truck with a tralier guess what because the trash is in the cultasack by another one of my homes wiyh a different address they still will not pick up i am 62 years old and i dont think i should have to drag trash from one place to another,i have had this service for 10 plus years, i would like to tell everyone if you have other options you really might want to try it befor dealing with this company oh belive me i have heard ever excuse ther is from someone will be there this afternoon .we will expidete the pick up a supervisior will contact you , am i the only one with this issue read more

Our trash hasn't been picked up in weeks despite having an Active account which raised our eyebrows. Because we pay quarterly but had switched over payment methods recently, we realized the auto-draft risk and acted proactively, attempted to mitigate any payment clearing risk by going online an making a one off payment on what was found to be an account that was still ACTIVE and in good standing; never changing to an inactive status in the first place. We then called Waste Pro 05/11/2020 and was advised they're opening a ticket and that the garbage would be picked up the next day; but definitely no later than our scheduled pickup date 05/14/2020. The Waste Pro trucks didn't come again until 3 days later. When they did come 05/14/2020, they picked up everyone else's trash on our street "except" ours. I immediately called the company back to advise my frustration with them intentionally not picking up our neatly, organized, clean, positioned appropriately at the curbside trash - which they've intentionally done in the past after calling my children derogatory names. Waste Pro, advised me they are opening another ticket, will contact the truck and they'll be back out the same day to pick up the trash. No one ever came back out!! I called back into Waste Pro 05/15 to further express my frustration and wish I'd followed my mind of getting a manager involved (I doubt it'll made a difference). However, I worked with another agent telling them everything I just divulged. The agent stated she's going to open another ticket, have them contact the truck and they'll be back out to pick up the trash. Again, no one ever came back out!! It is now the weekend, trash hasn't been picked up in weeks. I am now planning to have a discussion with someone capable of assisting me in shedding some media light on this situation to expose the integrity of this company and its brand. From a quality assurance perspective they are not compliant. My family phone logs and daily home surveillance video footage with sound support the ongoing prejudices and discrimination we've experienced by Waste Pro as they have failed to issue our address the same demographic services as everyone else with an active account. read more

I have had Waste Pro for years and have always been impressed with their professionalism and willingness to help. Recently, I had both bins stolen from my front yard (??) and after calling them was shocked to have bins replaced in a single business day. The agent Devin was very helpful and I just had to place this rating in gratitude. After enduring Hurricane Andrew, I know after no garbage service, no electricity and no water for weeks - what a priority and necessity it is for waste removal. I'll never take it for granted again!
