Rock bar has always been great I've been going since 2013! Putting aside the pandemic years I've seen bands like flavia, saving able and most recently Danny Worsnop. Service is has always been great and ticket prices have always been unbelievably fare considering the size of the venue/ bar. Over the years they became an eagles bar and opened a kitchen. But the one thing you can count on is a good drink and a good time. The rooftop patio might have a dj, you might need to reserve a table, and some might call it a dive bar but it is a one of kind experience and a Scottsdale staple ! The owners Brian and Alex are great and have always been very connected to the music industry. Somehow a local "dive bar" in Scottsdale gets some of the best musicians in the country! It's very customer friendly and very neighborhood friendly. Definitely a true dive bar--grimy atmosphere, smelled like old wet rags, dark, and just felt kind of dirty overall. Not really my cup of tea. The place was empty when we went and the bartender was not very friendly. Wouldn't feel comfortable ordering anything here besides a beer. If you're into the gritty dive bar experience, this might be your scene, wasn't mine. read more

Nice venue to host a grad party! There was plenty of space up on the rooftop. This place is nestled in the charming Scottsdale shops in historic downtown. The bar tenders made sure we had plenty of drinks! Downstairs looked like a great country vibe. I'd like to see it with a band on its stage- I know I'd like that! read more

Being from the Philadelphia area, I obviously have a bias with this review. I was there Super Bowl weekend. It was PACKED with Eagles fans. The bartenders were on the spot with their drink making. Their pizza was very good. The wings were big, meaty, crunchy, and very tasty. Beyond that, it's a notch above being a 'dive bar'. But, I go there for the company, and to get some good bar food. read more

Staff was rude and more interested in talking to the regulars than anything. No servers so you order at the bar, which was totally fine with us, but then waited only to be approached with attitude by the bartender. Based off that, we decided to go elsewhere for dinner after our drinks here. Will not return. read more

First time visit last Saturday; went to check it out as a place to watch Eagles games based on Yelp ranking of #1 bar for Eagles fans. Was not impressed by the low level of service and lack of friendliness from the staff. Place was not busy, and 2 people working the bar and tables. Sat down and after being ignored for about 5 min went up to the bar to order drinks. Sat back down, still no table service, so went back to bar to inquire about menus. Was instructed to scan QR code. Finally able to order. Friendliest person in the place was the guy who brought our food and commented on my ASU shirt as he was wearing ASU swag as well. Hi. I don't usually post here but I wanted to share my experience I recently lost my husband- and I ended up at the RockBar. The staff was kind, however, one individual made my day. He's a bartender by the name of 'Tommy'- he was empathetic to my circumstances and that was new to me. The food was tremendous, the drinks were remarkable (Tommy is a mixologist) but above all it's the little things: compassionate. God Bless you Tommy and God bless you Rockbar. Yesterday I went into the rock bar to watch some football and the charger came and immediately sitting down upstairs our bartender named Garrett was very cocky had a outrageous attitude of being better than everybody else and at first it came off as funny like ha ha this is a joke, but then it just got worse and worse to where he was insulting myself, my sister and even other customers and then would make jokes like I'm just gonna cut you off and not even serve you anymore ha ha ha and a gentleman from the bar bought us drinks. He served it to us and then right before we left. He said oh here's another shot from Poppy and so I proceeded to assume it was from another guest and it was a shot of water with a lemon on it, which Garrett had served me thinking that that would be a funny joke so just beware Garrett is a complete asshole and I don't even know why we even tipped him because the service was terrible beware read more

This place absolutely sucks!!! We got here early for a band. Grabbed a nice table. 30 minutes AFTER the band starts, they say we have to move for the bands family. Called the police. Wouldn't give us our cover back. This place is run by morons! One star if i could. read more

We came during happy hour and asked for 2 items. We waited 45+ minutes and no food came out. The place wasn't even busy, I'm here counting 9 people including my husband and I. We ended up leaving and we're not coming back. Seems like it could be a good place but the service is severely slow. read more

This place is a disgrace. The bartenders are rude, the food is disgusting and it is way too loud. The only people that hang out here are eagles fanatics and bachelorette parties on those peddle bars. It's not even clean. Do yourself a favor and stay away. read more

Came down here last night to check out Charley Crockett (Dope ass musician and band. If you have never heard of him, take a listen!). We parked in the structure right behind the place (Off Scottsdale Rd and 3rd Ave). Rockbar is literally right outside the exit to the parking structure. Convenient and free! Place is cool! Small and intimate. Only seats in the main room were "reserved" booths along the wall. Stood from about 7am until Midnight. Only had a Sprite to drink ($3.00). Sound was good, staff was friendly and I really liked how small this place was to see a band. I would definitely come back! read more

Played game 7 of the NLCS...good! When you are promoting playing the game...be stocked. Modello? Out of stock. Corona? Sold out. Potato skins? Sold out. There were other things too that we heard other tables commenting about. Maybe run to Costco? Oh...and when you are a Philly bar - maybe a bunch of the staff and bartenders shouldn't wear dbacks jeseys. Just say'n! That was the real head shaker for a lot of us! read more

This place doesn't pretend to be anything other than a divey sports bar type place and judged by those standards, I don't really know what's not to like. The wings are fine. The pizza is ok for bar pizza. They have lots of TVs and an outdoor area. read more

They get 5 stars just for being a ND bar!! Then you add the incredible service from the bartenders (Joy & Tommy were amazing), the bussers, the security, and the management and they absolutely deserve the 5 stars. They enforce the requirement to wear your mask any time you get up from your seat which I love. If you don't like it, you can go to another bar. I appreciate the fact they are here working hard to stay open and keep us all safe. We ordered the pretzel bites, the buffalo wings and a 10" cheese pie. The beer cheese was hot and gooey and complimented the saltiness of the mini bites. The pizza had a nice crisp crust and a robust sauce and cheese was fully melted. It's a pretty big pizza but it works to keep snacking while we are here watching football for a few hours! The wings were well cooked and just crispy enough. The sauce had a good kick but wasn't over the top. (We were so hungry I forgot to take pics of the food). We will be back even outside of football season! read more

In Old Town Scottsdale and need a place to hang out and have a few drinks? Rockbar is a fun choice. The first floor has the main bar, a stage and they play some good music. The upstairs roof has another bar with outside seating - really nice on a summer night after he sun goes down! They also serve some food. I tried the potato skins, meatballs, and pretzel bites. All of it was very good! (Sorry ate before I thought to take photos). They also have sandwiches, pizza and baked wings etc. The bartender was super nice and the service was great. Define worth checking out. There is some street parking out front. However, there's a free parking garage directly behind the bar. read more

We come here to watch football. The bar staff is great and there are TV's throughout the location. There is an upstairs outdoor bar that is awesome during the cooler months and a great change from a lot of the other bars in the area. Have never been to see a rock show but they have a stage and plenty of lights so I can bet it would be fun. Prices are really reasonable considering the location and plenty of places to walk to if you want to wonder or grab a meal that's more then bar food. We tried the wings and for a bar they were good enough. Next time I want to try a few of the other items- my friend got the meatballs and they looked great read more

If I could give zero stars I would. The "security " staff were so unfriendly and incredibly rude. The bartender was were nice, but when the security is rude as soon as you arrive it sends a tone. Don't go there. read more

Excellent space, fun bar, fun and quick bartenders, owners are super nice. Get the wings with Rock sauce. Don't go when the Eagles are playing football if crowds give you anxiety. I love how all the draft beers are from the best AZ microbrewery, Four Peaks. read more

As a diehard Philly fan the ambiance is perfect. But it is terrible idea for the bartenders on the roof deck to be juggling the metal drink shakers like clowns, dropping the shakers on the floor and then not even washing them. Health Violation! As for food, the cheese whiz that came with soft pretzel nuggets was absolutely disgusting! I told the bartender and he didn't seem to care. However the chicken on lettuce salad was pretty good. To force patrons to take have to use a bar code to see the menu is a bad idea. You should always have a spare menu in case people don't have their phone with them or it is not charged. Bartenders were just not professional doing shots of Red Bull. And then to add insult to injury they charged a mandatory service fee. Very bad for business, will not go back any time soon. read more

I'm a bit disappointed in this place, I came here with a few friends and my hubby during the weekend and the ambiance was not at all what you'd expect. The music was way more pop and trending music rather then rock... The shots we had were not made correctly/not what we ordered, or they must've been training someone because even asking for the Joy Wow the bartender didn't know what it was (they exclusively have Four Peaks beer). There wasn't a ton of seating and the upstairs section was closed off. We stayed for one drink then left, just wasn't our scene or people. read more

Fantastic place. We've been to two shows here and they were two great experiences. The staff is great, snd the owner, Alex, went out of his way to make sure everything was right. And it was more than right. Great venue for bands. We saw both Reckless Kelly and Micky and the Motorcars at Rockbar. Acoustics and overall sound quality was top rate. Food and drink were both top shelf, along with bartenders and wait staff. Everyone and everything was perfect. read more

Unfortunately, I have not heard back. Below is a copy of that email: Good morning, We came in on Saturday, April 4th, 2026 and ordered the Two 4 One Bubbles special. This is something we have ordered frequently in your establishment, most recently on March 8th, 2026. Every time we have purchased this, the Wycliff bottles have been $25. This means that we should receive 2 bottles for $25.01 based on the special listed on your menu. When we received the check, we were charged $50.01 for the 2 bottles. We pointed out the mistake to the bar tender who said the price was correct. We informed her that we have come here approximately once/month for the last year and the cost has never been $50 for a bottle of Wycliff. She asked another employee to come over and we explained the same issue to her. She (we did not get her name) said she has been a Manager there for several years and that has always been the price. I told her we have ordered this special over the last year and we would never pay $50 for a bottle of Wycliff. She refused to adjust our check. I asked her to show me on a menu where a bottle of Wycliff costs $50. Of course, she was not able to do that because it doesn't exist. We generally are very generous with our tip, as we consider this a good deal and the staff is usually great. - I have attached a copy of the receipt. We would like to continue to frequent Mother Tuckers, as we have always had a good time and like to bring friends visiting from out of town. I am hopeful this was an oversight by your employees and a refund will be put back on my credit card for the overcharge.

The person working let me sample a few beers before I decided on the Birthday Suit beer. It was delicious! There are food trucks/tents throughout the week, and on this day there was a pizza place. I didn't order one but they did smell and look delicious. There was even a small brick oven! Goldwater also puts on Bend and Brew events with Hot Yoga University when the weather is nice. Goldwater has indoor and outdoor seating options. It was a warm day so we sat inside at the hi-top. I didn't see food options available but it is located next to a few restaurants. My husband and friend enjoyed their beer flights and since I don't drink beer, I was happy to see a cooler with wine and other options such as white claw, etc. the beer was poured directly from the fermenter tank. The staff were very friendly and explained they had to open the wine bottle and make the first pour which was fine with me. We look forward to coming back in the near future.
