That's where the positives ended. He relit the pilot light and THEN told me it was $250 just to relight the pilot light -- something most plumbers include in the basic fee. After paying that ridiculous charge, my water still never got hot. He didn't check, wait to see - - just said he relit it. He did make sure he had a sales pitch though. Without fully diagnosing the problem, he jumped straight to recommending a $875 burner assembly or a $5,250 replacement water heater, (complete with estimates) claiming mine was 11 years old, but my house is only 9 years old. Either the math was off, or they were hoping I wouldn't question it. I paid $250 for nothing -- no fix, no follow-up, just out the window, whoever recommended them should be ashamed of themselves. Definitely a bait-and-switch. If you're looking for real solutions and honest pricing, I strongly suggest calling someone else.

I had a tankless water heater go out in the coldest stretch of winter. My thermostat (we have radiator heating) was reading 41 degrees. When calling companies on 12/28, I was being told by many they couldn't see me until early January. G.A. Eberly took my call and checked with their maintenance team to see how they could fit me in on the same day. They had a lead technician (Steven) hop on the phone and get information about what I was experiencing, before finding a way to slot me in. Steven even called back about 30 minutes later to offer a quick fix solution to see if we could get our heat back on. Excellent service! Chris was the technician dispatched. He came on time and quickly diagnosed the issue. He was friendly, helped get a fix in place, and was out the door in no time. I was happy with the price paid for what essentially amounted to a service call, even though he helped fix my issue. Excellent experience working with them. They seemed very comfortabe with my tankless system. I turn off the valve under the sink to prevent further dripping. I ordered a nice new one from Amazon for about $40.00. I asked around Yelp for a quote for faucet installation. I didn't need an in home consultation. I just wanted a plumber who could get the installation done next day cause I didn't want to wait. Nothing else. I know some places would want to upcharge and talk me into other stuff. Others take electronic payments and not cash or check. Others would take days. I just wanted installation cause I ain't a plumber and I am not handy. I would be the worst handyman ever. Next Day Toilet Replacement contacted me here and via text. They take personal checks or cash. And they could do it the next day. They had no Yelp reviews. Hmmm.... But they do have a Yelp guarantee. There was a flat fee for installation of kitchen faucet. It might be a little high but I am not sure. Whatever, just seemed reasonable to me and I wanted it over with and done. The owner texted me that his guys were a little behind due to traffic. I can understand cause Silver Spring to Tysons is a mess. They eventually got here (pretty much on time). They took off their shoes before coming in but it wasn't necessary. I appreciate the thought though. I told them what needed to be done. The assessed what needed to be done, left to get the tools from the van and worked on removing the old faucet and installed the new faucet. They added some sealant under the sink to prevent future leaks. Overall, it took about 40 minutes and they were done. They explained what they did and asked me if I had any questions. They were pleasant and professional. Worked on the install and removed the old stuff and trash. The only issue I had was the floor was wet with some water and the guys didn't wipe it dry before leaving. Not huge but its the little details. The owner told me he would send me an invoice and guaranteed the work. Will wait on that.... But overall, I am satisfied. Fast service. Good communication. Quality work/labor. Moderate price. Not a huge company. Mom & pop business. Accepts cash/personal checks. 4/5 stars.

First attempt was Thursday, he was able to snake through the pipe in the toilet claims he snaked about 6 ft but the backup came back 2 days later. We called Saturday and he came back Sunday evening to snake again but this time was only able to snake the cable for about 1 to 2 feet and informed us there was nothing more he can do after already paying him $851. He claimed we had a broken pipe!!! Ruined our bathroom marble floor when he used his snake machine and left the crude from the snake all over our toilet and bathroom walls!!! When we brought the damages to his attention he was frustrated but agreed to provide some financial relief which we never received. So we called a professional company and they were able to clear the pipes within an hour (so definitely not a broken pipe). If you hire him just know... you DON'T get what you pay
