Been coming here when I need a massage. In the past the need was low but now as I get older and carrying around a 50 lbs kid it's monthly (or should be lol). The place is pretty minimal. You get 4 walls for some privacy but the walls do not reach the ceiling so it's not private private. There's a massage table and a thin cotton sheet that's the size of a hand towel you cover yourself when you're waiting for the masseuse. All the ladies who's massage me have been great on pressure and good on massaging the knots where it's tolerable and you don't need hold your breath. The prices are great. You get more time here than other places. I tip $40 or higher cuz these ladies deserve it. This place is not a spa like Burke Williams where you linger. This place is for you when you need it. You get that same feeling as when you get a fresh new hair cut. My masseuse name was Yo-yo and she was awesome. From my experience with her, she targets your area of needs and makes every second count. I remember a couple months back I did a crazy 22 mile hike and I was sore to the point where walking hurt. The next day Yo-yo massaged my legs gently and even applied ointment to relax my skinny leg muscles. Literally felt like I could walk again right after. The only thing I didn't like is that when I started they switched masseuses on me. We did the full body massage, which was $40/person... super reasonable and quite a deal! My friend and I got Lisa and Clare (I believe was her name). Clare was my masseuse and she was quiet and kind, but really worked me. The body massage included oils and hot stones, which was really lovely. Yes, you read that correctly. I was lucky to find this place on Yelp, and I walked in on a weekend night. I guess I was lucky it wasn't crowded. Everyone seems to get their own individual room. You even get hot stones, hot towels, and a soft-body stretching session. I enjoyed the entire experience, especially when the air conditioning started blasting. I love how they give you a paper with a drawing of a body so you can highlight where you want them to focus on. The pressure is really good and is done just the way I like it every time. I recently went and the price for 90min went from $50 to $60. I think it's still worth it. Super mid experience. They ask to pay up front, $1 service fee and a prompt for tip if you use card which I did. I was in massage room 3. The room itself was not that inviting, and the carpet didn't seem clean. Didn't want to put my feet on that. The massage itself was ok, although I asked for the 30min body + 30min foot massage and instead received a 60min full body. Afterwards, the masseuse stopped me at the end of the hallway and asked for more tip! I said I already tipped. The ladies at the desk looked at me sideways and went to go check my receipt that I did! I was looking for a last minute massage and came across this spot. I read through some of the reviews and felt confident about giving it a try. I gave them a ring. They were friendly and no appt was required for early morning which was perfect. The place seemed clean enough and the atmosphere was okay. I opted for the 60 min massage +30 min for hands, head, and something else. I paid $85 cash at the front and tipped well on my way out out of courtesy and definitely not based on the service. I was actually glad and relieved when it was over. My masseuse did not seem experienced at all, although she was quite nice. There was no real technique. No consistency of movements. It felt like poor attempts were made to reenact some of the basics. For example, she asked me to bend my arms at a 90 degree angle then proceeded to lightly tap my elbows on each side. She would massage one hand longer than the other then come back to only one. I felt like masseuse was running out of ideas for the duration of my session. I asked for medium pressure and was left with my back and neck sore mostly from the elbow pressure that was applied. Unfortunately, I would not recommend. read more

So I finally figured out what the whole commotion is about the tips! The owner at the front desk takes 1/2 the tip from the workers! I tipped my masseuse on the way out by the front desk while she handed me a cup of tea. Turned towards the door and turned back to grab something I left on the chair. As I did this I saw when the front desk (owner) asked my masseuse for one of the $5 dollar bills I had just given as a tip and put it in a stack of cash she had in another bag! I was wondering why she had just asked a gentleman before me if he had tipped or not? She taxes these ladies on their tips. I feel bad knowing she does this as they work really hard and are very nice ladies. I know they do this in some restaurants but that's to split tips with busboys and food runners.
