My wife and I didn't go to work yesterday (some of my coworkers probably got naked and drunk when they heard that I wasn't coming in, but that's another story). Right before we left, I heard a loud screeching noise. We were told that a technician would come today between 8-9 a.m. We mainly cleared the water out using buckets and a water hose. My wife did a great job (I helped, but I left twice to go grocery shopping, which was stressful in its own way). Having all the water drain out meant that the appointment today was shorter than it would have otherwise been. A technician arrived at 7:59 a.m. He was friendly (he even said "Happy New Year" to my wife before he left) and straightforward. I'm glad that he didn't waste any time. He was a true professional. It wasn't an issue, but the technician said that the work would take about 90 minutes. He actually left at about 10:50 (the work took closer to 3 hours). The company follows safety procedures.
