We cannot say enough good things about Otter HVAC! They came through for us during an emergency situation when my elderly in-laws' Carrier Infinity HVAC system suddenly stopped heating their home. We were worried given their age, health (cancer chemo) and the cold weather, but Otter HVAC responded immediately and treated the situation with real urgency and care. From the moment we called, their communication was clear, prompt, and reassuring. Ali arrived quickly the next morning, diagnosed the issue with the Carrier Infinity system right away (clogged filter caused the Carrier system to auto shutdown), and had the heat restored before things became unsafe. When our furnace/AC suddenly would not operate, we called Otter because they had given such good service in the past. However, the receptionist told us that all of their appointments were booked for the rest of the week. We explained that would be a problem because we are confined to the house 24 hours a day. I hired Otter for a minor job, just replacing and swapping around some Lutron smart dimmers & switches, hoping to resolve a problem with flickering outdoor lights. Alibi came out to inspect our 20+ year old furnace, which had been coming on intermittently. He identified a few issues that could not be fixed and said we would need a new furnace within the year, but should get carbon monoxide monitors right away for safety's sake.
