I hired water savers to do a leak detection on a house I was buying. They "found" the leak in the skimmer, gave us a quote. We ended up hiring them, they fixed the skimmer. After moving into the house, the pool was still leaking significantly. I called JJ back up and he was on it! WAY OVERPRICED ! They tried to charge me 3k for a job that everyone else bid on average 1,500 for. So shop around and get more quotes ! They also charged me 350 for a water detection leak.... fine. But you'd think they'd apply that to the cost of the repair? NOPE I asked the employee why they charge so much, and he said cause "they do the job right" ha ha well isn't that what everyone says to justify overcharging. I contacted Water Savers and advised I had a leak in my spa. They scheduled a technician and requested a credit card for payment? The day of the visit no one showed during the scheduled time frame. I called and was advised they were running late and would call prior to arrival. No one called and one and hall hrs later, two technicians arrived. I was surprised that the had no clue why they were here. Sadly they spoke very little, if any English. After putting dye in the jets, skimmer and air bubbles jets and testing the system they advertised everything was fine. They placed a strip of duck tape at the water line and departed. Stated they would be back. Over several days the water level dropped over a foot. They even broke one of the jets during the testing. Handed me the jet when they departed and said we'll be back! After several day with no response from WaterSavers, I called. Left a message from my home number. Called back hrs later from my cell. Did not leave a message, but shortly later received a call asking if I called on my cell phone. Advised the called the problem. He advised the general manager would return my call. Later another individual called and asked what the problem was. I advised him and again he stated the General Manager was on the phone but would call me. Later I received a call from Water Savers! The gentleman stated my card was never charged and apologized for the error of not responding to my problem with my spa. Frank came out today and did leak detection and was super thorough and did a stellar job. He literally jumped right into the spa and went to work, explaining and educating me about everything he was doing, and he found the leak! I was so thrilled with him and his service that I requested to have him be here for the repair! He was very personable and understanding. I also have to give a shout out to Steve, the owner. Steve, the owner at Water Savers seems to be somewhat unorganized and reluctant to make a tough decision. We had had his team out to fix a pool leak 8 years ago and now another leak has occurred. His tech found the leak to be in the same block of concrete they removed and replaced before and I believed it was only reasonable to think he would want to fix it again, and do it for some reduced rate if not free. It has been 6 days since his tech was here and I've had to call 3 times to get his leak report and request some kind of accommodation on the needed repair. All to say, it seems like there's problems here and woud recommend you steer clear of Water Savers. read more

I developed a pretty severe leak in my pool immediately after having my pool remodeled. The contractor refused to address the issue and blamed the leak on plumbing, which never leaked before. I called Water Savers and they came out within a couple of days. Santiago was able to find the leak very quickly. The leak was within the light housing, and not the plumbing. Santiago even did a temporary fix although I hadn't yet agreed to have them do the repair work. The leak stopped immediately which told me Santiago was spot on. After receiving their quote to do the repair work, I agreed and they came and repaired the leak in a timely manner. After all was said and done, Water Savers deducted $400.00 off the quote because the leak was easier to repair than they originally thought. They could have just as easily took the entire amount of the original quote without me knowing any better. Water Savers is obviously a very honest company who don't take advantage of unknowing customers, unlike the contractor who originally caused the leak. I highly recommend Water Savers. I hired water savers to repair the leak in my pool pipes. They were coming out and giving me a quote to take out my corroded copper pipes and replace with PVC. They did the work a few days later.I was very impressed with the time and accuracy that the work was completed. Water Savers came out to do a leak detection in our pool and spa. They gave us their report on where the leak is coming from and marked the location on a specific jet in our spa. Well, they were wrong! Completely way off. It was not that jet. It was on the opposite side of our spa. What a waste of money! The guys who repaired it had to do unnecessary digging. And when my husband called the company for questions about the detection job the guy was very rude. I wouldn't recommend this company. I want my money back. read more

A group of nice and professional guys. Been having leaks in my pool fixed for 5 years. Finally called Water Savers. They sent their guys, found at least 10 new cracks and suggested not fixing it until we had some engineers review. When we decided to fill in the pool(which they do not do), they sent a crew to drain the pool and punch holes in the bottom to prevent any pool issues awaiting the fill. All at no charge. After working unsuccessfully with another leak detection company I found Water Savers. the first company just told me it was the same problem I had a few years ago and slapped on some epoxy. I was told if they need to com back it was another $400 charge. Pool continued to leak so decided to have it re-coated and and at the same time some spots patched with fiberglass. This helped significantly water loss continued at a slower pace I had Water Savers (Santiago) out to look for my pool leak and he found a suspect area, in the skimmer, and patched it. They had to come out a second time (at no charge) because the pool was still losing water. Now it looks like there are issues with the copper lining behind/in the light housing. I am happy they found the problem but the cost to repair is beyond my pocketbook and that is why the 3 stars. I contacted Brian at Water Savers informing him that I had a substantial leak out of my spa that caused my spa almost to run dry after 30-60 minutes. After they did their inspection they sent me a report identifying the leak as the pool skimmer with no mention of the spa issue. The leak in the spa is the reason I requested their service, as that is the only major issue we have when the spa is recycling the water within itself to heat up the water. I don't really believe the skimmer is a problem and if it is, it's a very minor one. Also the price to repair and replace the skimmer was $1600. I bet there is a far cheaper way to seal the skimmer than tear it out, add re-bar and re-concrete the skimmer. I honestly feel they made up a problem just to report they found a problem and to up-charge me on an unnecessary service that is not needed. I don't like getting taken advantage of... read more

Like many folks, I'm a doubting Thomas when it comes to repair companies. So when my in-ground spa needed a leak repair, I got a referral from a reputable pool company near my house. They said I could trust Water Savers. Initially, the cost for them to come out seemed a bit high. However, the office manager explained that the up front fee covers a complete diagnosis and written analysis of what the problem is and what would be needed for any repairs. It also includes a warranty for any future diagnosis if the same problem persists. I went for it, and man, I was not disappointed. Not only did they diagnose the issue correctly, but in the process discovered another problem with the jets. Since my spa was old and replacement parts were longer manufactured for it, they replaced all six jets with ones they had in storage that matched mine. All the work was completed in two days and the spa works as good now as it did 22 years ago! I was so happy, I called the owner, Steve Holcomb, and offered to pay him an additional $100 for the work. He actually refused the additional money! If you were like me, a doubting Thomas, doubt no longer with this one. You won't go wrong. read more

I hired Water Savers to diagnose my pool for any leaks as I had some soil moisture problems under my house. They were recommended by my pool service, and I had used them many years ago to find and fix a pool leak and was very satisfied. They showed up on time, answered any questions I had, and did a thorough examination that involved pressure testing and going into the pool. They did not find any leaks which was what I expected anyway, but I wanted to be sure. I was especially impressed by the company's integrity for the following reason: I was quoted a price and when the receipt showed up in the mail a week after the job was done, the bill charged to my credit card was $50 higher. I was kicking myself for not getting a written quote at the time the work was done. However, when I called them about the over charge, they immediately corrected the problem, and admitted it was their mistake. They are sending me a new receipt in the mail.
