Visited this location to fill up some 5 gallon bottles on the way home from evacuating from a fire several weeks ago. It's set up like my local "water store" except more spacious and a plentiful inventory of bottles of various gallon capacities. Also, they have self serve spigots of different types of water; reverse osmosis water, alkaline water, and distilled water. The attendant was also very nice and attentive, ready to help or answer questions from anyone in the store. Lastly something to note, while they have dispensers of RO and distilled water outside for off hours water bottling filling. They don't have an option for credit card payment. I feel spoiled saying this but my water store's outside dispensers has a credit reader in addition to taking bills and coins. That said, that's the case with all water dispenser kiosks next to grocery stores in my area. So perhaps my local "water store" is equipped in that way as a matter of (business) survival/competition. It's fine if you're accustomed to having change or cash and if one refills during business hours you're good. I would certainly recommend this location to anyone wanting high quality water. read more

Water Store, Goleta, has served my family since 1997; first by filling our jugs with purified water, and nowadays by servicing our in-house Reverse Osmosis water purification system. I love that this store exists in Goleta! Super easy process to get water, and there is lots of nearby parking to load up the water. You can get 50 or more gallons for a discounted price. They take down your phone number to redeem your gallons for future visits. The water tastes really great! I have gotten both waters, but I am happy with the reverse osmosis water. I love that they also have multiple faucets so there has never been a wait when I have visited! read more

I have been a customer of the Water Store for several years now and the best thing about this business is the customer service. Jessica has very good customer service skills, and my business always feels welcomed when I walk through the door - this is very important for me and this bumps it up to a 5 star rating . The water inside is self-service and you can pay before or after you fill. You can place your gallons in a cart so you don't have to carry them in and out of the store. Water quality is great and you can choose between reverse osmosis and distilled. Prices are reasonable and you can pay for gallons in advance for a slight discount (they keep track of your gallons with your phone number) . I will very likely continue to be a customer here. read more

When I first saw this place, I thought it was ridiculous. I mean, a store for WATER? But as all locals know, our public water has a lot of sediment, and a taste that isn't that great. The water store is cheap, and the distilled water is really good. I also feel confident in the cleanliness of the facility, which prevents me from using the store front units you see everywhere. read more

They have lots of faucets to fill your jug with and the water taste pretty good and clean but I think it's kind of ridiculous that they charge $2 to clean your jugs out and that it cost 0.55 per gallon for the reverse osmosis water. There's a place in Santa Maria that I usually go to when I'm in town called Pure Water Outlet, and that place only charges 0.25 per gallon and the gallon cleaner faucet is open to the public and is free. I also think Pure Water Outlets water taste just a tad bit better and they also have their entire filtration system process displayed in the back behind a glass window for everyone to see which is always comforting for peice of mind. read more

This is the 3rd time I post a review on here and it doesn't show up. Made an appointment to try and get the reverse osmosis system put in. They have rescheduled about 7 times now and every time it was a last minute deal. Chose to take my business elsewhere. Would not recommend. read more

With the reverse osmosis and coconut filtration the water tastes great, and it's very reasonably priced. They often gladly assist you in lugging your water bottles to your car. If it's busy you might need to request assistance, which they are always happy to do. read more

Although service can vary depending on who is working there, I generally find the staff helpful when I have technical questions, which is why I go there in the first place. I went on a weekend a few weeks ago and the young man working there was particularly helpful, providing excellent service, the kind that keeps me coming back. I did not get his name but it was on a Saturday and I sure appreciated his helpful and enthusiastic attitude. Way to go. read more

Took in a TDS meter (total dissolved solids) and tested the water myself; was happy with the results as I usually think these water stores just sell tap water (I'm a cynic). Water tastes good and, cashier wasn't offended when I asked to test the water myself. She even helped me when I spilled a jug loading up my car. Would return for sure! read more

I have been a satisfied customer for many years (12 to be exact). In the past several months I needed to have my filters replaced (yearly replacements), and they have cancelled about 7 appointments. After several cancellations I finally got them replaced... I had to move at the end of July, and I called for service at the new address; after 8 attempts to have the reverse osmosis installed, they call the day of the appointment about 1 hour before they were to arrive, cancelling the appt. They tell me that they ran out of reverse osmosis filter systems and I would have to reschedule a week out (even though I have been trying to get this installed for 6 weeks). I was about to reschedule, AGAIN, and then they now tell me that I have to pay $100 for installation (which I believe should have been waived due to the inconvenience of the constant rescheduling!) I am just fed up and I don't have any more patience, which is a shame because it USED to be a wonderful company. I am choosing another water store that can offer me a better experience and great water! I do NOT recommend this company to ANYONE! read more
