Today at 3:33pm on Friday Dec. 11, 2025, the young man pre-sprayed the entire car. This has never been done before. Usually they just do a weak front spray and a little side action. Fraudulent monthly charges. Avoid this business at all costs. I used their car wash in Dec 2025 (Carmichael location). From January forward they have been charging me a monthly membership. I've called and was told by their AI that I do not have a membership on file (no kidding). No one called back and I continue to be charged a membership fee. I was charged for a monthly subscription I never approved. I went for a car wash in early November 2025 and twice was charged 17.49, I just called the phone number listed on the website 916-762-7316, first someone answered the phone but was not able to help and asked me for my bank information for the refund, after I questioned the need she hung up. I called again and my call couldn't get through. I was so concerned, I called my bank . I will never go back to and I will not recommend it and I will make sure everyone in my circle of neighbors, friends and coworkers are aware, a very frustrating situation and such deceitful way to run a business. read more

The car wash itself was pretty great and not too pricey BUT the location I feel is just terrible for trying to get in and out. Not very convenient, but plenty of vacuums for when you finish which was nice, I didn't have to wait for one. However if you did there's nowhere really to wait for one to open up which would also be a bit inconvenient. read more

It was my first time coming to this car wash. Mind you I don't often go to one but have realized I should go regularly. I paid for the business wash which was $19. I went through the first time and it barely got the dead bug stains. The lady at the front before entering was very kind and said that if it does not work the first time I can come through again. She was very helpful along with the guy who did the pre-washing which is right before you enter the drive-thru car wash. I noticed that this place was clean and well-kept. Their towels were in 2 noticeable spots with signs. I also liked the floor matt holders along with the air gun to run off the water drips left behind. In fact, I met this nice elderly lady named Roxy who told me about it while we were both vacuuming and cleaning our cars. Another great thing about this place is that it felt safe being off Madison and Garfield; it was enclosed where just nobody can walk in and use the cleaning/vacuuming area. Lastly, I think their theme of flying is pretty catchy! Like the little billboard that said "How was your flight?" or the little wipes they gave out and just the look of the place with the blue and green. It just seemed inviting compared to other car wash places. Overall, I was pleased with my experience and will def be back. I hope they will have promotional prices in the near future. I live about 15 miles from there but I always stop by when I'm near because of how clean and neat they have their vacuum cleaners and the cleaning towels they offer to dry your own car and clean the inside . There isn't one vacuum that I have use that don't work and are amazing. read more

This is the BEST Self-Serve Drive Thru Carwash in SAC!! You drive up and thru the wash and get the colorful soap on your windshield. So it washes, rinses, sealer wax and anti-spot. they apply a tire dressing somehow or another. Then you drive over to the vacuums - where I was pleasantly surprised to find compressed air guns to blow out the cracks & crevices. And they have TOWELS!! The people have always been nice to me and helpful. It's like 20 something for the First Class was. If you pay $40 you can come as often as you want. If you're paying $40 you get an additional car for only $20! I pay $60 and can wash both of my (car washable) cars as often as I want. How can you beat that? On the flip side...Quite often I pull into a stall and the vacuum is weak, or the compressed air isn't working so well. Then I have to move the car. If these two things were good - I'd give them a FIVE!!! read more

I asked them to cancel my membership right after my first wash and they kept my membership active until June "supposedly canceled it in June" they did refunded me 3 months in June now I come to find out I have still been getting charged even after I asked to cancel it. I called and the young man said he will give his manager my info and let them know to call me back it's very upsetting that they can NOT be trusted with a credit card they will continue to charge without approval. read more

Let's face the facts, its inevitable that it can be a difficult task keeping our vehicles clean. I am a sucker for cleanliness and at times, can be just a little too OCD with my car since it is a full-size black sedan which shows every bit of dirt, water spots, & bird droppings imaginable. Which is why I frequently wash my car about once a week; usually by hand as well as using pressure washers at various locations. This takes me on a trip to the Foothill Farms neighborhood of Sacramento where I had the chance to visit "Waterfly Car Wash". I had never heard of this place before yet I only live about 10 minutes away from here. The main reason is because they opened during the COVID-19 pandemic back in the fall of 2020. Located on busy Madison Ave. & adjacent to Garfield Ave., this gives a more popular car wash, "Quick Quack" (also located on Madison Ave.) some competition. The only reason I came here is because I got an e-mail certificate for a FREE, complimentary car wash. And considering that my car was due for a bath, I decided to redeem my coupon and give it a try. I arrived on the afternoon of Sunday 2/21/2021 at around 3:30pm. The drive-thru process was very simple as the employee guided me where to go and upon my coupon redemption, I was given not one but two of their dash wipes to use for my dashboard and panel interior. Once I proceeded into the actual wash, you then set your transmission to "neutral" while another employee sprayed my hood and windshield. For their basic wash, the pressure used was quite efficient. It got a lot of the dirt out as well as one small bird dropping that was on the roof of my car. The drying process went quick too, roughly around 45 seconds. In addition to their wash area, there is also a very sizable vacuum station (that can accommodate at least a dozen vehicles at any given time) where you can get rid of those annoying rocks, leaves, crumbs, and any other unwanted things that happen to make it inside your vehicle. The suction on the vacuums was quite efficient and the layout is set up well even while following all social distancing protocols. With that said and done, Waterfly Car Wash is a good but not great car wash. After my car went through the initial drying stage, I did notice some water spots that were on my back windshield once I got home. I am still someone that prefers to wash my car from home or go to an actual place to wash my car by hand. But for those that live a busy life where you cannot do that, this is a nice alternative. *Beware of this car wash*- This has been my neighborhood car wash since they opened and I have not gone through any other drive through car wash. They have been decent but I quickly realized their awful business practices when an issue came up. A few months back I entered the wash just like normal and when I got home, I immediately noticed brush streaks in my paint, primarily on the front and through the middle of my car. I instantly panicked and told my husband. We decided to contact Waterfly and let them know what happened. My husband left a message and they called back saying we need to come in to speak with a Manager. I drove in and requested to speak to him and they insisted I drive through the car wash before we spoke. I went through and parked near the vacuums and the man came out. I wanted to give them an opportunity to rectify the situation, however, that was not the case. The Manager was instantly on defense mode looking at my car and shaking his head. He said they have never had any issues with this in the past and there is no way it could have been their fault. He suggested I fill out a form to submit to their Corporate office and that someone would contact me. He also suggested I get my car professionally waxed. I did exactly what he suggested and have yet to hear from anyone and the professional wax did nothing to the streaks. It has been several months. This morning I reluctantly drove through for a wash and was hoping to speak to someone else for an update. I didn't speak to anybody but the same Manager was flagged down when I entered and he literally stood inside the wash and stared me and my car down, trying to intimidate me or whatever weird tactic he was trying to do. I decided to end our relationship right then. I was too creeped out to deal with him by myself so I decided to leave. Needless to say, we're canceling our membership. Yuck. read more

I took advantage of their grand opening special and got a month of unlimited "business class" washes for 99 cents. I probably ended up going about 6 times. Love that they give you a complimentary air freshener and dashboard cleaner wipe at the gate. There is one staff at the entrance of the car wash who directs you to fit your tires onto the track and does a pre-spray of the front of your car. I made a suggestion on their website that they actually have staff spray AND scrub, as other drive-thru car washes offer. For the most part, I've been satisfied with the wash, except my Toyota Corolla would never get fully dried. I always ended up towel drying the back and sides myself. The vacuums worked well so no issue there. My last 2 visits, I wasn't really satisfied with the results. One of those times, the car ahead of me drove straight through and distracted the staff who didn't do the pre-spray. No biggie since I don't even think that really helps anyways, but then the car behind me must have f*cked up too because the equipment stopped as I was near the end of the tunnel and when it came back on, it was like the dryer didn't finish the last steps. My whole windshield was wet. I know you can go around for a 2nd time if you aren't satisfied, but who wants to do all that? I want to fly in and out! I would still recommend Waterfly over Quick Quack, because I've never experienced any damage to my car (unlike at QQ). I would just like to have consistent results. read more

Unsure why there are so many bad reviews. With any non-touchless car wash, you run the risk of minor paint scratches. If you have a new car or are OCD about your car's paint, don't go to any car wash that isn't touchless. I like Waterfly a lot. It's clean, it's never too crowded, and this location is really easy to get in and out of. Also, the vacuums always work (as opposed to QQ), and they are in great condition. I've never had a complaint about the wash. And they offer the first month unlimited at 50% off which is pretty great! Would recommend for the value honestly. read more

AVOID Waterfly at all costs! Purchased a brand new vehicle in the bay area on Sunday. Two of us carefully examined the vehicle in the sun panel by panel along with the dealer's general manager and sales rep. The vehicle's paint was perfect. Less than 24 hours later brought it to Waterfly and the car washes' brushes (or whatever they use) scratched the hell out of the car. I showed the damage to the car wash manager on duty who took down my info and said he would alert the car wash general manager. The manager said his wash was not responsible for the damage and did not cause it LOL. I took the vehicle to a local dealership along with 2 detail shops. All agreed the only reasonable possibility was the car wash damaged the vehicle. All of the scratches were horizontal in perfect alignment to how the brushes move. The car is being buffed, polished and having paint correction now...a brand new vehicle. If that doesn't fix all the scratches some surfaces may need to be repainted. read more

This is one of the better drive-thru car washes in the area. I have tried pretty much all of them and found this one to be the best in terms of actually cleaning the exterior of your vehicle and in terms of the vacuums provided to clean the inside of your vehicle. The staff was also super nice and friendly. I was impressed by the vacuums since they really sucked (in a good way) and none of them were broken. They also have air/water sprayers to help with the finer detailing. Overall, my car looked great after just the basic wash but there were some leaf stains that were left on the hood. To be fair, these leaf stains were on there good and I suspected they needed to be hand-detailed. I asked to go through again, and the woman at the entrance was happy to let me go through again and said "we will spray those with the bug sprayer too to try to get as much off as we can!" Wow, what awesome service. But when I went through the wash, the bug sprayer guy (who seemed like the manager) said "oh no, we won't be able to get those off," and didn't even try the bug sprayer on them. Ughhh. Wash was always ok, convenient good vacuums, car wash not always washed super well, even at the top tier I paid for I often had to go back and do some areas myself. Which sucks for $40 a month. The real issue though, my CC expired and I had a new one, forgot to update with the merchant, in 5 days they attempted to charge my card 14 times. Being declined each time. That is almost 3 times a day. My bank reacted by flagging them as a fraudulent merchant. I couldn't use them on that card from that bank again if I wanted. They are listed as scammers. Who attempts to run a payment multiple times a day? If they'd run it once and sent an email I would have just updated my card. I had no idea they were even doing that until day 5 when they finally sent a text. By then they were so predatory my bank and I both had enough with them. They lost a long term customer today. I had two cars on there plan. Black Charger and a blue Subaru. Been there almost about a year. The wash is "ok" nothing spectacular. I do like the air guns. I had a situation where my membership was not renewed due to my card expiration. I left my wallet at home I was just dropping someone off real quick. I was like can I just go through the wash and explained my situation. She says No. lol Now I get it I do. But you haven't seen me at the wash? You can't tell a long term customer and have some customer loyalty or you just don't pay attention. I have 2 cars and was paying for the highest package. I was literally going to be back in a few days to renew my membership. You could have easily given me a free wash. Kinda hurt considering I pay $60 a month. I explained that to her.
