Got the ribs and they were flat out gross. They were chewy and from what I could tell baked. There was an overwhelming amount of sauce thrown on top after it was cooked (before served). If you are used to ribs with a bark and flavor I would not recommend these. read more

We come to Kenosha every weekend and finally we ended up going to Waterfront Warehouse. I'm really impressed with the service we received from walking in to walking out. We were very pleased with the way the food taste being a restaurant owner myself and at times I can be critical. The Moscow Mulls were worth it and I recommend the Long Island...yummy! Sat in the bar area in a booth with my sister. She had a soda and I had a Long Island. Not so good. The place has a cool vibe. Our server (Erin) was very sweet. A hostess (blonde-no pun intended) stopped to asked if we would like waters. I said, yes please, just one. She never came back. Hope she never plans to serve. The bar is wood and brick. It is very loud as there is nothing to absorb the sound. I do like whoever decorated the place. We shared an order of Reuben Rolls. Two rolls cut in half. $6.99. Delish. The menu is small but then they can concentrate on quality. Great idea. If you want a 6 page menu, go to Gateway Café or Marina Garden. The owner(s) of La Fogata opened this place. Thank for revamping an existing building. Kenosha has so many vacant buildings. It is great for someone to invest in some old bones and bring it back to life. Much good will to your new endeavors. A perfect summer day for lunch outside! We were in Kenosha for the day & wanted to be able to sit outside to enjoy the day...so of course Yelp helped us find another gem! The decor is cool, bathrooms clean, food options great & most importantly the service was perfection! The staff at the hostess stand greeted us upon arrival...within 1 minute of being seated our server was at our table offering drinks. We ordered them & cheese curds (of course - its Wisconsin, duh!) - I noticed she greeted a new table & told them she would be right back, nice touch. My husband had a burger which was nice & juicy, good flavor. I had the southwest salad, which was also awesome! All the staff seemed to pitch in & work as a team as our food arrived by someone else but had no problem getting me a refill - ever hear "I'll get your server" when you ask someone close by...drives me crazy! My husband runs a restaurant so he notices the small things & agreed, definitely a 5 star experience. We love heading up to Kenosha on a day off so will plan to visit again! read more

My husband and I were excited to try the new place in town. We had high hopes. I loved the atmosphere, not too excited about the bathroom. It was old and outdated with an updated sink. Seemed weird and a little gross but ok. I was still trying to be optimistic and told my husband "Next time, I'll go to the bathroom before we leave the house". We both ordered the Steakhouse Burger, I ordered the Micro version since I can never finish a full sized burger on my own. As we ordered, I asked the server for extra napkins. Of course he never brought them so I got up and got them myself. He also never refilled our drinks....but DID offer to do so once we were finished eating. A little too late I would say. Back to the burger...besides for it being cooked exactly as we asked (no pink), it was gross. There was a funky flavor that left an aftertaste that neither my husband nor I could pin point. I pulled the meat off the bun and scraped off all that I could and tasted the meat itself, it wasn't that. It must have been something else. Well at least the fries weren't bad. They weren't crispy, a bit soggy and weren't very hot but at least edible. The waiter came by to ask how our food was and I told him "Not good" and he said "Oh sorry" and left. About 2 minutes later, a girl came to clean the table as we were still sitting there. It seemed strange as she TOOK MY HUSBANDS SILVERWARE AND NAPKIN WHILE HE WAS STILL EATING! Mind you, it wasn't in his hand at that moment, but he had half his food left and was picking at his fries at that moment. So I got up and went and got him another napkin. I guess he really didn't need the silverware if he ate the rest with his hands. The waiter dropped the check and was quick to take our payment and bring back our change. He then took my glass that I had been eating the ice out of....OK, maybe he didn't know that I was eating ice out of it but why do they need to clean everything off the table before we're even done eating? We felt like they were rushing us out! We will not be going back to say the least. We spent $30 for a burger, a micro burger, and 2 sodas. The only thing that was good was the soda and we didn't even get a refill on that. Summary-bad food and bad service. It left us with a bad taste in our mouths, both literally and figuratively. read more

Went there for the first time on a Saturday night with my wife just to have some drinks and light fare. The vibe is really chill. The hostesses were right on with the wait times and they were even able to get us our preferred seating. The waiter was very good with his suggestions and was great throughout our time in his section. We had the BLT flatbread and loaded fries and both were very good. The food, the prices and the atmosphere make this place a hit. We will definitely frequent this place more often. read more

Stopped in last night hoping to sit outside on their deck. Well it was full so we we're planning on sitting inside as they have garage door type windows. Walked in only to discover they were closed with the AC blaring. Asked why and were told it was to humid out. They are literally steps from the lake and on a beautiful 70 degree night the place was sealed up. We left went to Villa de Carlos, sat outside and enjoyed the wonderful weather and had a great meal. Kenosha has so few outside dining spots. Why not make use of what you have. You installed those garage type windows for a reason. Don't close them up on a beautiful night. read more

My boyfriend and I live a little over a half hour away and we drive here before closing places closer to us. It's worth the extra time in the car every time. We have tried almost all of the loaded fries on the menu, and we probably love the Thai and the duck fries the most. It's so fun to have interesting options for fries! We always try to give a new place in Kenosha a try because Kenosha always has the blandest restaurants and this sadly is included. It reminded me a cheesey bar trying to hard. We ordered the cheese curds- awful for Wisconsin. We ordered the Caprese flatbread- super bland and worse was their chopped salad. Runny and watery salad. I would compare their cooking to ordering hotel food. I have had better food at a truck stop and wont be going back. Also, the cocktails were nothing special either. read more

We were looking for a great burger and found them here. I had the Wisconsin Merkt's cheese burger and it was delicious! I also got the asparagus as a side but I don't remember seeing it on the menu, so ask as it was done perfectly. The parking lot was packed but there was no wait. The service was very good. Great restaurant! We live in Illinois and were looking for a new good place to eat. Waterfront Warehouse did not disappoint. The wait time was said to be 30 minutes, and it was way less. We enjoyed delicious drinks from the bar...the Blueberry Mimosa was so good, I had two! Our waitress Jeanette was excellent and so was the food. We will be coming back soon. read more

What a fantastic find!! Such a welcomed change of environment/atmosphere! Very clever and unique decor. TV's on both sides of the spacious bar, plus more on the walls. Not a bad seat in the house to catch a game! Food was superb and aside from what we ordered, everything that we observed going by us looked just as great! Well this place is absolutely amazing inside. Completely remodeled!! Nice parking outside including walking in to the establishment and seeing a lovely lady smiling as she seats you! Very nice feeling!! Sat immediately (tuesday night) and shortly after greeted by Phil who was my server. He offered a beverage immediately and then helped me pick a great meal. The chicken sandwich is absolutely phenomenal. The only downfall was the annoying drunks sitting near people dining with a very loud n obnoxious talk n laugh. Went there last night for my wife's birthday. Not a good experience. First when the waiter came by the third time to take our order and was going to walk away I asked if we could order drinks. Then my wife's drink was wrong, didn't say anything. While waiting for our food the table next to us was getting explained what the specials were for the day. We never got that and I would have probably ordered the burger specials had I known that. The meal came and my wife ordered some Pasta dish which had one artichoke and three tiny spinach leafs. While she said it was good it didn't really match what the menu said. My flatbread was actually pretty good. When finished I put my credit card out and he just walked by and took it. Came back with the Merchant copy amount and customer copy, not a detailed receipt of what we actually ordered. The amount seemed correct so I just paid it and left. I probably should have asked to see the manager but again it was my wife's birthday and didn't need the drama. I know it's a good place to eat, I think we just might have had a new waiter. read more

We were there at 11:30 on Saturday, January 27th. The place was packed. There were six of us from Illinois & two from Kenosha. We got great seating right away. Diana was our waitress & she was totally awesome. She had a great sense of humor & she made sure she took care of us constantly. We were never lacking anything. All eight of us loved the food that we ordered. Everything was totally delicious!!! We will definitely be going back, even the girls from Illinois. We had a wonderful time & the food was absolutely great! I can't believe that I live in Kenosha & I never ate here before. I will be going back for sure. I'm taking my husband next week for dinner. Everybody that works there is super pleasant & attentive & they know how to make people feel good. The place was packed the whole time we were there & we didn't leave until 2:00.
