What a great place! We drove two hours west, our family from Chicago drove 1.5 hrs. east, and we met at Watermark. We chose the place due to the great reviews and we were not disappointed. The incredibly large outdoor space, with tables spaced well apart, was perfect during these C19 times. There are two areas with comfortable seating, and fireplaces. The remainder of picnic tables are spread out in the large grassy area. We chose a set of tables under the awning and felt very safe since it was even more removed from other groups. The interior is nicely done and the bathrooms were very clean. We really enjoyed the beer selection and the cider too. We even bought enough to take back home! Since they do not serve food, we were very pleased the BBQ food truck was there. Our lunch was delicious. Overall, we all had a great time and would definitely make the drive back again. I wanted to like this place as it has a great atmosphere and selection of sour beers. The young girl working here was very disrespectful and unhelpful with poor communication skills. She gave us the wrong beer and refused to fix it. I will not be visiting this brewery again after such an awful experience. I have never experienced such poor service. read more

2nd time in, and I'm having a hard time enjoying it again. Great looking place, but for the 2nd time not a good experience with staff. Asked for a specific beer, and was told to pick another one because my choice wasnt labeled on the tap.....for real? He did end up going behind to track it down, but I felt like I was a bother. Not a good way to start. Beer was decent, my rating reflects the atmosphere physically, not the experience. May try again sometime....but staff is the face of your place, needs to be improved. read more

first time visit - very cool place. The group that put this together had a great concept and excited well. Beer is very good and facility is super nice. Would like to pass along some props to the crew and the beers at Watermark. It's refreshing to see their founders/brewers so engaged on a Friday night. They are really invested in their business. They work hard to create a welcoming atmosphere, and are pushing out some tasty creative beers. They also take time to have conversations with the hundreds of people that visit. A real surprise and major gem. Some of the best beers in Michigan are brewed here. Local kid started the place and its brought life and traffic to Stevensville. No food, but lots of food trucks are pulled up and you can bring your own. We've come to play cornhole, taken our dogs, had potluck type meals and play board games. No growler fills here, but they do have Crowlers for sale. Come check out this place! We stop in almost every time we are in town. read more

The beer taste like vinegar. Kids everywhere, that's rite I said kids, 10 yr old and younger running around. Funny, we saw numerous parents drinking beer while thier kids played yard games, then parent drives home with kids in back seat... amazing that this is acceptable and even encouraged by the setting and quantity of people doing it. They don't even have a kitchen that serves real food... the live entertainment has to be some family member of the owner because nobody would pay to have this guy sing. Waste of time and money strongly suggest any of the other breweries around. read more

First time to this brewery and it was pretty perfect. Tons of outdoor seating, plenty of room to be busy without feeling crowded. Dogs and kids can run around without bothering adults due to the size of the place. Ordered a Saison and a Brown Ale and both were delightuful. Service was prompt, didn't sit with an empty glass for more than a minute or two. Awesome little find in Stevensville. read more

Happy a place like this opened up. Beer is fantastic and very tasty. Asked for a short tour and was given one by one of the 3 young owners. Super nice guys and outdoor patio is to die for. Family friendly place with food trucks for dinner. What a unique experience. Hope it stays open in the future. read more

There is nothing bad to say about this one, at all. In spite of just opening, no rough edges. Friendly from the minute you walk in the door and the beers are very good. There is no snobbiness whatsoever. The BF and I were sitting outside and someone came along and brought us pretzels, that we didn't know we needed, but dispatched with in short order. A nice touch. They were offered with the first beer, but to have them brought to the table without even asking is just plain hospitable. The names of the beers elude me now, as is often the case in our beer soaked state with lots of cheeky beer names, but nothing passed my lips that wasn't very good or excellent. Beer was good - I enjoyed the Homage and King Prawn. Good feel. Enjoyed a game of bags as well. Will be back. The only suggestion is a more consistent pour. 2 of the 4 beers I ordered were more than a finger width from the top of the glass. read more

Great concept brewery. If you don't drink beer, you are welcome to bring your ice tea, etc. Have seen everyone from couples to families with small children. Rotating food trucks for food items makes it interesting, have seen people bring their own pizza. Lawn games. Fire pits. If you don't know which beer to order, ask to sample. The first time I visited this brewery, I loved the atmosphere and decor. It had been open for about a month at that time. The beer was okay and I was able to view a detailed list. I went there recently and asked to see the beer list (most breweries have their beers listed with details of what is included or what is put into making that beer). The bartender was not the kindest and said we don't have a list of beers right now because we brewed new beer and everyone keeps asking questions. That threw me off a bit because that is a typical brewery atmosphere. Asking questions about the types of beer they brew and any bartender has always been excited to share their knowledge. I asked for a light brew at that time and it was a little hoppy for my taste. It would have been nice to see a beer list to know what went into the making of that beer. She never offered samples at that point either. There were only a few people in the place at the time and I didn't feel like a valued customer. I would love to go back as I love the atmosphere. Hopefully I'll have a better experience in the future and will be able to post a better review! read more
